My Mom was in the care of Banner Hospice for over four months. During that entire time, she was treated with respect, dignity and a caring way. Supplies, meds and tube feeding food and supplies were automatically ordered and arrived on time. If she needed something we werent already getting, we just asked, and recieved it. On the evening of her passing, one phone call to Steve Ball was made and everything was taken care of by him. He made the process as easy and unobtrusive as possible. He then took care of the funeral home arrangements and even procured a beautiful urn for us. He took our water biodegradable pockets to the home and had ashes put in for us, which is something we could never have handled. He even hand delivered her to me. He made all of this horrible time a whole lot easier and was always available and compassionate. He did all of this while he was going through his own, terribly hard part of his life. I could never express how greatful my family is for Steve. There are no words to describe him and how he prides himself in his work. He has an extremely hard job and does it expertly and compassionately. Banner Hospice is amazing. Thank you to all of you involved with my precious Mom!

Banner Hospice provides a terrible level of care. My brother was at Banner NCMC as a stroke patient when it was discovered that he had 2 malignant brain tumors. I discharged him to Banner Hospice because they had a presence at NCMC and we could go home quickly. From the start there were operational issues with supplies. We ran out of briefs and I had to wrap a chuck around him until more arrived the next day. I was very low on Jevity twice because the order was wrong (the company thought he was on 3 per day when he was on 5 per day). The staff were nice but obviously not very tenured. The CNA washed him with his own shower soap and did not rinse him. As I mentioned, they were all nice enough, but obviously not terribly experienced. I had to change nurses because his assigned nurse was not overtly compassionate and seemed to just want to leave.DO NOT USE THIS HOSPICE SERVICE until they have their ducks in a row. My brother was still very alert during this time and commented on the terrible service. As a caregiver I did not have the bandwidth to stay ahead of broken processes and my brother definitely deserved and needed better care. Changing agencies was very stressful for him, but I knew it was in his best interest... and it proved to be a valuable move. He passed two weeks after we left Banner, but his care to the end was superb.
