I stuck with this particular doctor for 8 yrs because he was my husbands doctor. Zero follow through. Treats immediate problem with no look or plan for the future. Antidepressants were prescribed and I took for too many years (5) before weening myself off. No reminders for colonoscopy or mammogram or a physical EVER. I guess thats not his fortay. Numerous years of edema, treated the edema, but no digging to find out what might be causing it. Injured my hand in April, I couldnt even get an xray. With a new doctor today and Im now on bp meds, looking at surgery to repair hand, bloodwork to determine if the current hormone dosage is enough, need to come off anxiety meds, (controlled substance 5 yrs), and taking an alternative. Low sodium diet and all of these changes are from one visit with a new physician. Shame on you Magnuson. If you have a sinus infection or bronchitis, this is your doctor. Anything outside of that, do your research. Im now playing catch-up with my health, please dont do what I did.
