I saw Dr. Chung for pain/limited range of motion/swelling in my left wrist. While I was being shown to an exam room, I overheard Dr. Chung complaining about another patient which I thought was unprofessional. After examining my wrist, he diagnosed me with de quervain. That explained the pain on the thumb side of my wrist but I asked him about the pain on the top of my wrist and the swelling/numbness in my fingers. He brought someone in to perform a sentivity test and when Dr. Chung returned to the room, he said my symptoms weren’t aligning and made no sense and he said I just had de quervain. 5 years later I saw another orthopedic surgeon because I was still having the same symptoms. After reviewing my MRIs, he diagnosed me with ulnar abutment syndrome which accounted for the pain and limited range of motion on top of my wrist. After my experience with Dr. Chung, I would not recommend him.
