Five star nursing care today in the Endoscopy Center. Obviously super busy yet they take the time to get it all right! They seem to give every patient their very best! Very professional and caring.Also thank you to the Volunteer worker at the Endoscopy desk. Im sorry I didnt catch her name but she is just the person for that job. Very personable and helpful.

Omigosh! Thanks to everyone there,especially my MRI technician, Kayla. She made me feel very comfortable and calm. From the greater at the door to the lady who checked me in to the beautiful premises, I cant say enough.

This review is about the er in grayslake. Horrible, I will never ever step foot in this facility. I was sent to the er from the colonoscopy floor after a colonoscopy and my care was horrible. Avoid grayslake ER at all costs.

🤠🤗✔️Wonderful facility! Cancer treatment, Emergency Care, acute care,🏥 regular doctors visits, Imaging, everything you would need to get yourself well. A pleasant looking facility, a clean facility, Well staffed, valet service, just a model of how things should be run. Im usually there 6 or 7 times a year and my wife even more than that. We drive a little farther but its worth it. Honorable mention, 😁they have a wonderful little cafe there also.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I brought my son in after he fell and noticed he was not using his arm much, we were seen by Dr. Victoria Weston. It was the first time we had been seen at Northwestern. We ended up sitting in the room for over 3hours. Dr. Weston was not very caring regarding the well being of my 15month old son, she was only focused on reporting the incident as neglect!!! I was extremely stressed and bothered that she didn’t put my son first in this situation. There was no care provided and no recommendations (sling, cast etc). I went out and bought him a sling to keep his arm stable so he wouldn’t be in as much pain. I was able to follow up with a Orthopedic surgeon that advised me it was in fact a VERY common situation in kids & that luckily the fracture would heal on its own. Think twice before bringing your child here regarding an injury or fall, if you get Dr.Weston, you will be reported!! So unfortunate we went through all of this from a COMMON fall! I will never bring my son here again!

The fast talking woman who answered the phone to set up my appt was beyond helpful resolving my needs. Blood draw and urine drop were uneventful. But the woman who set up my appt was the first point of contact for NM Grayslake and she set the tone perfectly. I wish I’d gotten her name. Well done!

I love Northwestern as well as their doctors and nurses. It takes so long to get you checked in at the main entrance though. Also, when receiving chemo, it ALWAYS takes forever! My appointment was at 10:00 today and they didn’t get started until 12:30!It ruins my day every time because it takes up so much of my day!! It’s ridiculous.

Called for some simple information , for transferred to two different people who couldn’t help me , finally got a person to pick up to tell me what I was calling for wasn’t important & that she had 34 people in the waiting area. I understand that she was busy, but didn’t have to be rude. I had a question about a medical emergency happening to me & instead of coming in and pissing more people off with my simple question , I called . What a mistake .

While I was reading the other reviews, I felt as if I had a totally different experience. I agree that calling to get in touch with your doctor is a bit difficult, but I have found that emailing my doctor through the Northwestern My Chart patient portal is very convenient. I have emailed more than one of my doctors on various occasions and have received a reply either the same day or the next morning. Obviously, if you have an urgent need this is not timely. But as for the staff themselves, most have been very friendly and helpful. In fact, I have had a very positive experience at the Grayslake facility, even better than the Lake Forest hospital itself.

Went to see an Ear-Nose-Throat specialist here. The receptionist was extremely kind and I cannot find one complaint. The Doctor seems to know his stuff as well. Overall satisfied since I had to drive 30min.

The ER here is a joke. Took my five year old here because he was running a high fever. Arrived at 10:15pm. Still no doctor looked at him as of 1:30am. Do not go to the ER here late because they only have 1 doctor on staff but have 12 other useless people sitting behind the desks.

I had an excellent experience I have been waiting for a long time to find doctors that will make me feel comfortable and not rush out like before. I will 100% recommend this facility for primary doctors, in particular Ana Balabanova; she was great. I will go back to them and refer my family and friends.

I recently had a screening mammogram done at this facility. I have had my mammograms and other procedures here and before that at Lake Forest Hospital, which is now part of Northwestern, for 20+ years. The facility is one of the providers approved by my group medical insurance.When I checked in the morning of the mammogram I handed them my insurance card so they had it on file.Approximately 30 days after the procedure was done I received a bill for the services of the doctor who read the mammogram and when I looked up the EOB (explanation of benefits) it stated that the doctor was not in my network, therefore, I must pay the bill. I was not consulted or given a choice of which doctor would do this and obviously they did not care to check.As I was in the process of writing back and forth they decided they would send me to a collection agency. I called and got a very nice lady who canceled the collection and said she would send it to their board of review. The board of review decided this was not their responsibility and that I should pay the bill.This is a very shoddy way to treat a senior citizen who has been a patient for all these years. It should be Northwestern Medicines responsibility to make sure the doctor is covered under my plan or I should have been given a choice.

Badly run dept ---toxic technicians---dont know what is going on here, but I will go back to Advocate from now on. I would rather travel a little farther and feel more at ease with the care. Had a mammogram 8 days ago here ---no results...no call....no nothing....no concern for the patients peace of mind.

They were nice to me and my family but 1 of their Doctors was a bit rude! Thats why its missing 1 star. Since the begining I was talking to them in English anwsering their questions and w.e for a whole hour. Well this guy at the end when he was about to explain something to me decides to bring an interpreter... I felt discriminated! Im fluent in english born in the US spoken with this Dr for the past 2 hours and at the end does this? Another nurse thay was in there with me right away when she notice this said clearly, she speaks perfectly english! I shook it off and laugh it off but still that was bogus!

Generally this is the best place to go if you have Medicaid, because unlike other local hospitals the doctors here still treat you well. There have been a few bad experiences with medical professionals here, but this is one of the best ERs in Lake County.

The emergency staff here is very attentive and devoted to providing patient care with dignity. I would not go to another emergency room in the area. They manage time efficiently and maintain a good attitude.

I went to the doctor in March 2016, Found the best doctor on staff Ive ever had. extremely caring and concerned about my condition. I was told to call back if I had any questions. I called back to outpatient center I was feeling extremely ill. The nurse on duty could care less extremely rude, loud, could not care if you live or die , then hung up the phone while I was trying to explain his condition. I will never again attend this outpatient care center. If the doctors cant hire nurses to at least answer a life concerning question, How can I expect them to try and save a life . Shame on you northwestern the public deserves better.

NWLFH has clearly taken the compassion and human element out of their care, especially when it comes to the registration portion of the experience. I was late for an 8:00 am radiology appointment because I had to wait over 15 minutes to check in on a Saturday - the registration process took longer than the ultrasound. When I made the appointment, I spent time going over the countless details with the scheduler even though I have had numerous appointments at NWLFH over the past six months. When I finally was able to register, I had to recount the countless details I covered with the scheduler. For the very first in over the twenty years I have been a customer of LFH, the registrar asked me how I wanted to remit payment for the co-pay. My insurance card clearly states that there is no co-pay due at the time of service. In addition, one of the registrars was rather rude and had a rather superior attitude.The ultrasound technician was fabulous - she was compassionate and answered the numerous questions I had asked. It was more of an interactive experience instead of just a tech doing a test.It is a shame that the actual patient care is overshadowed by a registrar who wanted to discuss my financial ability to pay for my care in a very public forum.

I went here to get a routine X-ray taken at their Outpatient Radiology after getting a lab order from my doctor (same day) and getting the x-ray taken wasnt bad. However, I get a call from the doctor who sent the request in that they never received the x-ray results a week later. I then had to spend 40 MINUTES calling to get a number to their medical records, so essentially I had to call around 3-4 different places to get a number to call to obtain records. Oh, not to mention, I spent 20+ mins waiting on the line for medical records to even get ahold of a HUMAN to speak to. This is RIDICULOUS! In other circumstances, Ive been able to call a direct number to an office, speak to a person, and get a situation like this resolved in 10 minutes.They had taken a picture of the doctors x-ray order, so they had all the information on file, and just never sent the results! UNACCEPTABLE! I have never had to deal with this before, or have to jump through so many hoops to get obtain ROUTINE medical record results. Never going here again.

Oct 25th was the worst visit Ive ever had with this hospital...usually the Doctors and nurses there are polite but you know every good hospital has its rotten apples the staff here that night was prime example...other then that...this e.r has some of the best doctors and nurses there...hopefully someone would read this and maybe look into this to get rid of those rotten apples to make this hospital a 100% better.

It was my first time there me and my friend dropped off a A friend who lives in Grayslake and told us to go to this outpatient hospital thay call me with in 10 minutes of checking in this is a great outpatient hospital if I ever need to go to an outpatient hospital again and I am in Grayslake after dropping off my friend with my friend I would definitely go back this is a wonderful hospital and wonderful staff

I went there this morning June 11 th around 7:30 am. I was seen by Dr. Epstein whom I have seen before. I had surgery yesterday morning and came in because I had a rash and my face, and was swollen. I have serve allergies and was concern as my jaw and cheeks was hurting me as well. Dr. Epstein asked me why am I here so much and was rude and condescending! Should i ask him why he is a doctor? I have a lot of health issues and I cannot help coming in when I am choking, or my potassium is so low I pass out. I also have kidney stones as well.Shame on this doctor for a aweful bed side manner. He should treat his patients like he would like to be treated. He was rude and did nothing for me. I went home and took more Benadryl. Thanks for nothing.

Definitely recommend physical therapy at northwestern in Lake forest! Donna is very nice and works around your scheduling and always answers the phone and K one of the rehabilitation physical therapists is great!

Went for CT scan , My wife was greeted with you know your appointment was at 930 its 1000 . We were there 10 min early , waited for 15 min to register and another 15 min in radiology waiting to be called !! Not a helllo my name is How are you . Very Rude ! I am a nurse n I wouldnt treat my patients that way. Ask your hospital why I was late when I was there on time..

The people at registration are idiots. The woman didnt understand how to enter our insurance, therefore we were footed with the bill, even though my husband pays $1000+ a month for Health Insurance. No one contacted us saying there was an issue until 6 months later, and it was a bill collector. Avoid this place. The service wasnt even that great. We waited around for 3 hours even though the place was totally dead. Staff lacked personality. Hate hate hate this place!

Their appointment cancellation policy is the worst. 1-2 minutes late and your not seeing youre doctor. Even though on most appointments they have you waiting for 20 minutes in waiting area and another 20 in the doctors exam room.

It was so far the worst experience . Very unfriendly staff at registration and the worst triage nurse. My son was dehydrated and in pain and they did not care. Waited for 3 hours to be seen and finally after a huge fight got on. As a result my 8 year old son has to go and see a cardiologist do to extreme dehydration! I will never go there if I have a choice!!!!
