Always professional. They always listen to you, are always honest and upfront. They are also helpful, and welcoming. I feel better every single time I go for a massage here. Would highly recommend.

I have been trying for nearly two weeks to cancel my membership and get a refund for an unauthorized charge. I have called, emailed, and visited in person and heard nothing back. I will be filing a dispute with my bank.

Over all this is a very calming and clean place to go get a massage. Yet it can be a headache to plan and keep your appointment. I unfortunately was having pain in my back so I make an appointment online. My appointment was set for the next day, received an email confirming. I showed up 10 minutes early as they requested. Then I processed to call the fount desk to tell them I was there. Some how they could not find me on the books. So I took a looked at my confirmed email it was the correct time and place. Trying to be understanding I tell her that I received a conformation email and that I really need to be seen by someone today because Im in pain. In a not so professional matter she tells me that the best that she could do for me was give me a free aromatherapy add on and another appointment for a different day.

The front desk is very unprofessional with foul language. Massage therapist are just ok, not worth $65 for the member fee. Having a confirmation of your appointment doesn’t guarantee they will actually see you. I was turned away once because they didn’t find me on the books. They told me there’s 15 minutes between clients to clean room, I don’t think they go by this since I saw my therapist walk another client out and a couple minutes later called me to the room. I asked my therapist if they wanted me to remove my mask and he was ok with me removing the entire time. I continued my ok massage with my mask on but will not be going back. Management never return calls when you call to complain. I wonder if they’ll reach out now.

The entire staff at massage envy in Grayslake is professional and attends to each customer with a personal experience. My massage therapist, Karen, is amazing. I thoroughly enjoy visiting her frequently. She understands what areas she needs to concentrate on and always encourages the customer’s feedback throughout the service. The sub par and one star reviews do not thoroughly reflect the experience that a customer will obtain. Keep up the wonderful best in class service!

I’ve tried three different masseuses and I don’t think any of them have been great. They are always nice and professional, but it’s like they don’t know where the actual muscles are... I’ve had to ask politely to have them stop dragging elbows down my spine or my ribs. I go here because it’s convenient but I’m likely going to cancel my membership and go elsewhere.

I definitely loved my massage and facial. The licensed professionals were positively amazing, but management was so rude to their employees its hard not to feel bad for them. I overheard one of the owners saying that they opened the clinic to make money. Considering that facials and massages are about body wellness, it makes it clear they do not value their clients.Definitely would not recommend.

My wife got me a gift card for my birthday and Ive never gotten a massage before. I saw Chistopher there, and it was amazing! The staff there was very professional and made me feel very welcome. As soon as I got in the room Christopher made me feel very comfortable, as it was my first massage ever, and was also very professional. I would highly recommend going to this location, and also seeing Christopher if you can.

I had a terrible experience at this location, I called this morning and spoke to John the only thing they were willing to do was give me a free facial this is unacceptable. I went to enjoy a Swedish Massage and got a DEEP TISSUE instead I suffered for 4 days!!! All the owners Carol & Linda could come up with was a facial instead of a REFUND. When I made my appointment I was referred to Christopher, then John tells me this morning Christopher is more DEEP TISSUE and I shouldnt of gone to him, Really now you tell me after being in so much pain! Thanks for making my first Massage a BAD ONE!!!

Very difficult to book here and even when you think you booked online it doesnt actually go through. Unfortunately i have a lot of built up massages because of scheduling conflicts. Hopefully I will be able to use them and then plan on cancelling. What is the point of paying every month if I cant even use the service.

I went for a 90-minute deep tissue massage focusing on shoulders and back. I didnt get the masseuse I booked. The one I got spent less than 10 minutes total on my shoulders - even after telling him several times the shoulders should be the focus and telling him where the knotted shoulder muscles were. The bulk of the massage was mid-back at my waist, where there was no tension at all - and certainly didnt warrant the elbows into soft tissue. He was also unable to keep consistent pressure during the back massage and then over compensated on the arms. An experienced masseuse can feel the difference between spasmed muscles and relaxed and adjusts pressure appropriately - that was not the case. I left with still-tense and knotted shoulders, but with two new very sore spots just below my ribs along my spine from having an elbow ground in to soft tissue.

I had a 90 minute massage with Paul. He did an excellent job of listening to my concerns and applied that to the service. Paul was very thorough and knew exactly what areas to work on. He was extremely professional and made me feel at ease. I look forward to booking another massage with Paul in the very near future!I also had a 60 minute facial with Paz. She too was extremely professional and very courteous. She seemed to have a great deal of knowledge and actually helped me to understand that I was doing a few things wrong with regards to my at home beauty regimen. She also took the time to go over the products she used and I was so pleased I ended up purchasing the cleanser. I will definitely be back for another facial with Paz!

All i want is a half hour deep tissue, but we dont offer that here even though i have HAD a half hour deep tissue there before. I only gave this place a 1 star, because of how awesome Christopher was FOR MY HALF HOUR DEEP TISSUE. This is horrible, because i physically can not stand an hour deep tissue, i cant believe they will not offer someone in pain what they need.

They have you fill out your info on a tablet when you come in. Ok I get they want to know where your pain or stress is so that they can address the issues. I filled it out I also let the massage therapist know where the areas that needed to be worked out. She never rubbed my feet or my arms which were two areas that bothered me. She did focus on my back area which I told her I didnt need any attention to because it doesnt hurt. I felt that what I was saying didnt matter. She did what she wanted to do. Then when your leaving they hit you up with trying to buy a package with them. Wow I think this place is over priced!! If Im spending money for a massage I should get what Im asking for.

The staff is professional and friendly and Darius is an amazing therapist! Between him and my myofacial therapist, my daily chronic pain is almost non-existent after over 10 years of dealing with it! I cant say enough good about this location and business!!

Very nice and feel welcomed. Wasnt sure if I would like the membership but now Im happy I got it now. I have Chris and he is amazing for deep tissue, I have a labor intense job and work out 4-5 times a week and really look forward to his massages.

Loved my very 1st massage!Beatrix is very nice and friendly. I workout and run a lot and Beatrix made sure she hit all my sore muscles! They even gave me a 15min complimentary massage gun demo. It was great and helped me transition for my actual massage! For those people complaining that they get hurt during the massage you can always tell your masseuse to reduce pressure or increase pressure if you need it. If you dont say anything its your fault.Great ambiance and and friendly staff! I was offered coffee or tea right off the bat and theres even free chocolates at the front desk lolWill definitely come back!

The franchise owner, Carol Hornsby, needs to go back to school to be taught customer respect. I went in early (before the date my payment is taken out) to cancel my membership. Long behold, you have to go in 10 days prior to cancel. I told him his employees could have notified me this when I called. He was rude and said it wasn’t his problem. After he left, the very kind receptionist notified me I could freeze my account vs canceling my membership so I wouldn’t be charged this month (December) Not sure why the OWNER did not tell me this since my main worry was being charged again since it is the holiday season.I do recommend going to Savanah and Alan as massage therapists. I hope all massage Envys are not like this. I will not be returning to the Grayslake location.

The front desk staff is polite & the massage therapists are amazing. I’ve had two incredible massages with great results.

The service providers and front desk associates were very awesome and friendly. The management group were a bit more colder, one owner basically said they just opened it for money. The owner will also grit his teeth and yell at his employees, for a little mistake that they make. On certain days you cannot find a manager on duty so if something goes wrong then you are basically out of luck.

Its was ok.. Darius did well. Only thing though is he had concentrated on my upper part and touched no where near the rest of my body.. Overall ok. But I will be going elsewhere.

This place is a complete joke. They charge you for additional services after you’ve received the massage.
