This facility is right across the street from the local hospital which seems like an ideal location for a nursing home. I visited this facility during COVID time and all of their processes for safety and infection control seemed very good. I was screened right when I came in to make sure I did not have a fever of symptoms. The administrator and DON were very proactive with my questions and concerns which made me feel great. Overall I was impressed with how this facility runs.

My father was recently transferred to Wolf Creek for skilled nursing care and I am so thankful that he is there. I am an RN, but sadly live in Southern California. The staff at Wolf Creek are amazing in all ways possible: professional, caring, polite and work very hard to assist both the resident and the family. The facility is very clean and always cheerful. Whenever I would walk out in the hallway there was ALWAYS someone asking me if I needed something and they would immediately accomplish the request. NO ONE ever said “I’ll go get...” and then disappear. I feel so secure and comforted that my dad is in such a great place. Keep up the great work Wolf Creek and THANK YOU.

I am here recovering from extensive total hip surgery. From the moment I arrived i noticed a overall home feeling. I have never felt so at home anywhere like Wolf Creek Care Center besides my own home of course. Every person that works here is absolutely wonderful. I could go on and on but I will finish my review to say that if I could give each and every one that works here 10 stars I would. AND the food is amazing! God bless every one at Wolf Creek.

I will always be grateful for the kindness and support of Wolf Creeks staff during the two-plus years my mother was a patient there. She was treated with dignity and respect and genuine affection. These folks truly do care, and that made all the difference.

I cannot say enough good things about this facility. The staff was attentive to my dads needs and they were able to make time to answer my questions regarding his care. My dad had a lot of skin issues from a facility that he was previously at and needed a contraption called a wound-vac in order to heal a complex wound. The wound care doctor took the time to explain the benefits of the wound-vac, the nurse took the time explain the process of putting it on and gave me weekly updates about the progress. The wound was eventually healed sooner than expected and he was able to come home without any skin problems. I had never expected so much communication between myself and the facility, but it provided unprecedented peace of mind.

Putting my mother into Wolf Creek for Long Term Care was not an easy decision. Little did i know that it would be one of the best decisions for her that I could ever make. From the beginning the staff were friendly, warm and professional but as time went by they became her family. She recently passed away. At that time I can remember thinking over and over, Thank God I had chosen Wolf Creek. As she declined she felt loved by all. The nurses and aides were wonderful with her care, knew how to handle her even when she was not easy, treated her with respect and dignity... and love. It helped when I could not be with her to know that people that she liked and loved were there caring for her. Either Dr. Pritchett, Dr. Bouchier or Donna Murtaugh NP are at Wolf Creek daily - three times a day. So nice to see one them in the building every day and for them to be so available. Department heads at Wolf Creek go out of their way to know the patients by name, welcome them and continue to get to know them during their stay. The Therapy department was phenomenal, always smiling and encouraging. At the end it was such a comfort to have the aides and nurses that had grown to know her and love her continue with her care through the end of life.I can never thank Wolf Creek Care staff enough- all of Wolf Creek Care staff. Thank you from my mom Sharon Shingle. You made a difference. She loved you all.

My dad, Glen Erdmann, just passed away at Wolf Creek Care Center on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Although this was a VERY sad time for our family, the staff at Wolf Creek made it as comfortable as possible for us and especially Glen.Several years ago, my mother was a resident for a month or so and we had the same caring experience then.Glen had been a resident at Wolf Creek for a year and had endeared himself to most all who he made contact with. There were times I was there that one or another of the staff would come in to tell me about how he was doing or share a story or two that he had told them. The day he passed, there was a steady stream of the staff that came in to give him a kiss on the forehead and tell him how very much they would miss him. They all left in tears. This is NOT a job for most of the people who work there but a calling. My family and I want to thank each and every one of the staff, Dr. Pritchett, Dr. Bouchier and Donna for all they do for the residents at this facility.God Bless you all!Donna Recker and family.

Wolf Creek Care Center has been wonderful for our father. Two months ago, it became clear that my father could no longer take care of himself due to advancing dementia and needed a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Since my father had no financial resources left, he would need facility that accepted MediCal/Medicare (medi/medi) residents. The first 3 facilities turned us down, either due to space issues or due to dads medical/financial condition. Wolf Creek Care Center welcomed us with open arms. Casey, the Admissions coordinator, was extremely helpful and straightforward. She carefully explained the admission process, the paperwork, and showed us around the facility. Once we were accepted, Elaine, in the Business Office, was very, very helpful with all the required forms. She made helpful suggestions and offered to explain Medicare and MediCal forms and policies that come close to boggling the mind. Now that Dad has been a resident at Wolf Creek for a couple of months I can unreservedly say that the staff is great. They treat him in the kind and personal way that we all hope we will be treated if we have to go to a SNF.The small size of the facility really allows each resident to be known by the staff with their individual needs. We are so happy that our dad has a real home where he can get the care he needs.
