Great venue to see music and comedians and other travelling shows. They have programs for kids, like Ariel classes and dance. Lovely art gallery in the lobby.

The Center for the Arts has a phenomenal staff. Theres excellent seating everywhere in the main theater, and a great selection of drinks at the bar. They also rent out the space for events, and the art gallery is well curated, so I definitely recommended this place for a fun night out!

New to the area from the East Bay, my wife and I love to hear live music and this venue does not disappoint! Weve already bought tickets for several events coming up. Great location, near downtown. Easy walk from several great restaurants.

The Center recently went through a major remodel. The old facility was not bad, but had some limitations. I recently attended a movie as my first visit to the new facility. Calling it new and improved doesnt really do it justice. The lobby, restrooms and other visitor spaces have been modernized, but the real gem is the expanded main theater. The seating has been upgraded and redesigned to make the room more versatile. Theyve been talking up the new sound system a lot, and its no joke! It makes a concert movie like Stop Making Sense feel like youre at a live show. You get the sense that the system is working with the room, not against it. The walls have acoustic treatments; the sound is clean and open with just the right amount of liveness. I would compare my experience to the best venues in Las Vegas or San Francisco. Wow! Cant wait to go back for more!

IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN BETTER! The venue itself, the sound system, The Allman/Betts Band and before that A Tribute to Carole King, the friendly staff, the ambience, and the vibes cannot beat for a small indoor theater, so to speak!

Every year when our children were small we would take them to the center of the arts on Halloween and they would have everything all decorated and give all the kids some really cool books and a snack and Halloween treat then they would put on a plate for the kids and Christmas time for free theyre really nice they have a lot of cool activities going on

New center looks AMAZING. They have tacos & a bar on Fridays in parking lot. We danced & watched large screen, while social distancing & others watched on Zoom and danced, too! Looking forward to seeing shows inside, when its safe to do so.

The center always has great acts, I just wish their website was easier to use. They bring many big names and so fantastic not as well known groups also. Shows are usually a bit crowded and seating is tough, but the music is always good.

So many excellent musical acts play here, in our small town. They have an excellent sound system and friendly staff. Always a great show.

Very grateful to have the Center for the Arts in our community. Especially appreciate their family days for kids - a wonderful way to expose our children to various forms of performance art each year!

A wonderful local arts center. My wife and I attended a Cinco de Mayo celebration with our granddaughter and her parents. It was a wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit.

Over sell their venue, your left standing out of stage sight. Give preferred seating to large donors. Regular members and public. Given little or no consideration.

I went here for the first time to see Pokey LaFarge in August 2017.Id always heard of the Center For the Arts, but I had never been before that show.What an amazing venue. Very intimate. I would guess only about 300-400 people could fit in there. The chairs are comfortable, the sound was great, not too loud, not too soft. They let you in/out of the front doors as you please, which is a nice change from some of these strict venues that are around. Drinks were around $8 for an alcoholic beverage. Bathrooms were nice and well kept. I was impressed.Everyone working was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed about how they run the Center. It was a delightful experience. I would come back for any show that I want to go to. I would prefer to see the show at this venue as opposed to any other.The only thing I can complain about is their price difference for the General Public... I feel like they shouldnt necessarily advertise the more expensive prices on their site. It made me feel like I wasnt going to be welcome up there, like Im not in the club. I dont know, it just bothered me.

The Center for the arts censors artistic expression and free speech. Avoid if you like freedom.

The Center always has amazing shows. The facility could use some updates such as an expanded womens room as the line is long.

This P Funk concert would be way cooler if the wait for a drink wasnt an hour. Writing this review to pass time jn the line. CFTA is great but I think its time to hire professional bartenders.

The venue was changed without everybody getting an email so we had a hard time finding out where the show was. It was unorganized And showed a lack of planning

Overall great experience. Recommend taxi service as the parking situation is a nightmare down town Grass Valley.
