Jonathan was already working late when our call came in. The dispatcher was great and gave me all the information and options for service at that late hour. Jonathan called before he headed up to make sure he had the right tools so I wouldn’t be charged unnecessarily. He came up and started working when we experienced an unplanned power outage. He used his head lamp and kept on working until the repair was completed. Awesome attitude!

These guys must be writing their own reviews. My wife called them out to install a new kitchen sink valve - which we provided. They tried to sell her a plan for over $1000! Their basic plan was nearly $600. I ended up installing it myself in less than an hour. They would not quote an hourly rate to do the install. I paid the $68 call fee and sent them packing. They are a criminal enterprise.

Dan came out on a Saturday when other “24 hr 7day a week” plumbers in the area didn’t even return our calls. He promptly diagnosed the blockage problem and returned the following morning (Sunday) with the proper equipment and cleared it. He showed us a camera view of the pipeline and obstruction. He took the time to explain what he had done and educated us on what to do in the future. He was exceptional.

Dan made our stressful situation much easier to bear by being so lighthearted and personable! He was very informative about the services as well as our particular situation, and he explained things every step of the way. There was a slight delay for the initial timing expectation and the office kept me informed so I could adjust my schedule. I was notified when they were on their way and they arrived as they said they would. They were cordial and professional upon their arrival and despite the triple digit temperature outside, they had GREAT attitudes and got right to work finding the problem and making the repair. We had an alarm go off for our septic tank pump. Dan came out and fixed it. He did a great job. It was a floater and it had been all set up from last time he worked on the pump. So no expensive electrical work was needed! We trust Dan to do a good job!

While the plumbers were good- they can’t seem to figure out scheduling. It took a extra weeks to try to get a basic job done because they kept a scheduling wrong which significantly impacted our project timeline.There was no COVID impact. This was the person doing the s Jedi long not documenting it correctly.

I do the annual maintenance on my heating and air conditioning system. Always go to ABT they are wonderful. Theyve also fixed my plumbing and replaced my hot water heater.

I called ABT when I had a plumbing problem in my bathtub. They were able to come out the next afternoon (when it worked best for me) and showed up in the earlier side of their time window. Used ABTs HVAC inspection service to be ready for winter. They came out, did their job quickly and pointed out to me a few things to watch for, offering advice and to give them a call if I need their professional services. I was satisfied with their inspection program!

My furnace stopped working two days before we were leaving town and right when a cold spell hit. We had a house sitter taking care of the house while were gone so I needed to get the furnace fixed right away. ABT was exceptional and made it very easy while I was away. The Technicians were very professional and explained things very clearly. The problem got fixed and the service and cost was great. I highly recommend ABT and they will be the first HVAC and plumbing company I call whenever I have a problem.

I would have given zero Stars if that was an option! Do not use this company! They lie and price gouge! Then refused to refund the $68 service fee after only being here a few minutes to tell me the amount which was almost $600 for $150 repair! My friend the plumber and two other plumbers all told me it should not be more than a $150 to $200 these people tried to charge me almost $600. I paid the $68 to make them go away. They refused to refund my money and claimed they did not know why the technician over the phone told us that number and when we told them all the other plumbers gave the same verbal estimate over the phone they stood by their nearly $600 estimate anyway.

I cant speak to the quality of work this company does because I have not hired them - however, their employees Kenny and Isiah stopped and helped me when I was stranded on the side of the road. They were both so helpful and kind and funny. I cant speak to their craftsmanship, but I can attest that this company hires good people. (Plus it looks like lots of other ppl love this place too, so.) Thank you ABT and Kenny and Isiah!!

Dan and his coworker arrived after hours and solved my sewer line problem right way. They explained everything, including costs, beforehand and then went above and beyond to not only unclog the line but access my system for possible issues in the future. They were friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Ill be using them again in the future, 100%.

ABT is the best! My ancient water heater went out 4 days before Christmas and with a new baby at home I was obviously stressed out. Dan (and the new trainee Colin, who is now my dog’s new best friend) arrived less than an hour after I called and were able to install a brand new water heater the same day! Super fast work and both guys were very professional. He was extremely understanding about my old Victorian basement and had no problem working around some outdated pipes to modernize my hot water set up. Not to mention the dude is hilarious, so not only did my water get fixed but I got a stand up comedy show for no extra charge! This is the second time I’ve used ABT I will absolutely be calling them again!!

Stay Away if You Need Electrical Work Done!I had scheduled some electrical work 30 days out due to their backlog of work and confirmed work ahead of me. I shared I was entering escrow on my home and this work was occurring during home inspections and was critical. Given it was so far out, they asked me to call them to cancel if I found another provider sooner as they understood the urgency of the work - I agreed to this and we confirmed the schedule. Two days before the job, I called to confirm the schedule and to review the problem and to ensure they had the right person, with the right tools to do the job. They confirmed and shared they would pass this on to the service manager.Five minutes before the scheduled appointed two days later, I received a call from them. They shared they would be unable to come out to support this repair as they had another customer with an emergency. Given I had scheduled 30 days prior, shared this was a critical repair tied to a home inspection as part of the sale of my house, and needed this to be done this week at the latest, I was shocked by their decision. I complained that they had a choice not to take the apparent emergency business given all of the other electricians in the area who advertise emergency services, but to no avail . So i asked to speak to the office manager who was of course also unavailable. I was told she would call me back - I never recd a call back.I did a few hours later I recd a call from the service manager, who I learned during the call is also the only certified electrician in the business. Interestingly, he was also busy driving to this emergency call over an hour later after my scheduled appointment the same morning. In explaining my situation to him, he agreed with me that this should never have happened but was powerless given the front office makes these decisions.So, I ended up calling Norris Electric in Auburn who installed my generator last year and explained the situation to them. They had someone onsite within 5 hours and the problem was diagnosed and resolved within another hour.Note to self: Always find out the number and type of resources within the company you are dealing with. Had I known the service manager was the only certified electrician, and he is also the service manager of the entire business - and they advertise themselves as being able to support full service electrical work - I would have never engaged them. The front office staff at this company is also not to be trusted if you have something scheduled & critical.I would not recommend using them for any electrical work as this is clearly not an area of focus, core competency, nor investment for the business, even though they advertise it as a primary service offering.

I already use ABT for my HVAC maintenance, so when I had a septic system backup, these were they guys I called. They came out same day and Dan was professional, informative, and knowledgeable. He gave me a few options so I could decide what best fit my needs and budget. I will definitely keep them on speed dial.

Kevin and Colin did a fantastic job installing my leaky toilet in a small bathroom. Not to mention I live in a Townhouse, so stairs😐I will definitely be calling ABT for any future plumbing jobs, as well as electrical and HVAC. Paul also took time to explain the repairs (and costs) to my son; an eye opener for my son as to why certain things shouldn’t go down the drains.As a single mom, it’s comforting to know I can trust ABT in my home.

My main water pipe burst. I called ABT and they sent Todd out to help me. He knew his stuff and had it fixed and ready to go in a few hours. If you call them and get Todd, you hit the Jackpot! I am and will continue to be a customer!

Electrician charged us $950 for less than 3hrs of work.. i dont understand why when he did not fix drywall or put the metal panel back on the front of our mobil home. I believe besides diagnostic time all he did was replace a GFI switch. .outrageous!

These guys are great. Our toilets all stopped working and started leaking out the bottom the day after Thanksgiving, when we had guests. Yikes! ABT showed up within less than an hour of our call and quickly assessed the problem (clogged main to the septic), and cleared it up. He then returned as promised two days later to look at the main pipe with a scope because he thought the line might have had a problem that required replacement of the underground pipe (ancient in our home) to prevent future similar incidences. He showed my husband the image of the defective old pipe, and we agreed to have him replace it, which he did right then. We felt their pricing was fair. They were a Godsend when our whole system failed!

We contacted ABT to have our HVAC system inspected to ensure there were no issues for the winter. They found that the system had been converted to Propane incorrectly. They contacted Carrier who is the manufacturer of our system and received clear instructions on what to look for in case of damage. They corrected the problem with the propane conversion and checked the Heat Exchange manifold to ensure it was not damaged. They spoke with Carrier about the warranty on the system and were told that as long as they corrected the improper conversion the the warranty would not be affected. These 2 technicians went out of their way to ensure that our system was running properly and that the warranty would not be affected. They were very professional in how they handled themselves and explained everything they were doing. The upside to this is that once the propane conversion was installed correctly we have noticed that the system is a lot more efficient. Prior to them fixing this issue it would take the system approximately 45 minutes to heat the house from 63 to 68 degrees. After the issue was corrected it now takes about 20 minutes for the system to heat the house from 63 to 68 degrees. We highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs.

Robert and Red showed up on time. They worked to install new heater and a/c units. They were very efficient at what they had to do. It was joy to interact with these two men. Their attitudes toward their work shined and they did a very nice job. I would use this company again and have used them in the past. Satisfied every time.

The ceiling below my bathroom was dripping water and I called ABT. They showed promptly but could not find a leak. Their guess was the fish tank might have leaked (it was dusty dry so doesnt wash), then charged me $85 and left.The next day I called Craig Johnson Plumbing and CRAIG JOHNSON PLUMBING went above and beyond to locate the leak, cut into the wall to inspect and did not charge a dime - said they wont charge until they find and fix the problem. Took ownership and standing by me. Use CRAIG JOHNSON PLUMBING!

The guy that came out was very nice, punctual and professional. My complaint is the pricing which was outrageously high. I find it very annoying to pay for an estimate and waste the time. They wanted $3000 to install a faucet and drain. I was blown away. I was supplying the faucet so material costs were very low. Over $300 per hour for a plumber is ridiculous.

ABT has very prompt service. I called for service and they were there within 1-1/2 hours. Brandon was awesome, very personable, very knowledgeable. He detected the problem within seconds and had a plan for repair. I like the way he explained what needed to be repaired, why and how in laymans terms so I understood exactly. After he replaced the garbage disposal and new faucet cartridge he explained proper usage of the disposal. I appreciate that so when used properly it will last longer. My husband and I had been cleverly procrastinating getting our furnace serviced, so when we received an invitation to have it serviced, our response was a casual oh, sure, why not? It turned out that our rather old unit was cracked and had been leaking carbon monoxide gas into our basement during the winter months. The ABT team member who provided the inspection was so professional, so thorough and careful that from the start, it was a joy to work with him. He called his supervisor when he discovered the condition of our furnace and invited me at every step of the way to see its condition for myself. It was great as a homeowner to be included. When the furnace was replaced, which happened very quickly, the team was prompt, clean, careful and highly professional. We were so pleased with their service and recommend them without reserve.

10!! Just had 33 year old home re-piped and a 5 star rating is not enough for all the work required to put it right! Have been customer of ABT for many years and knew I would not only get a fair estimate but, in addition, plumber would be highly skilled, timely, particular in explaining process and pleasant, too. Justins excellent work was noticed by more than a couple of neighbors and had him leave couple of his cards, just in case. I have used ABT Plumbing for several projects and have been generally satisfied. I needed two bathroom sink faucets installed. The company sent Dan to do the work. Dan is very kind, extremely competent, and a joy to work with. He cleaned up after himself, took old faucets with him. He was great with both of my dogs and did well with one of my cats who tried to help. He has a great sense of humor and such a positive attitude.

Called the office @ 7am, Dan was here 9:30, earlier than expected.The job turned out to be a large one, not an easy repair as I was hoping. Together Dan and I added nearly 50 ft of new water line from meter to the house. We hand dug a trench, laid the new pipe, and back filled in about 5 hours. Dan was very pleasant and easy to work with. His workmanship seemed excellent and was performed very timely.Great Job Dan, will use this company again, and I will ask for DanDoug

I could not shut off the water in my shower. I shut off my main water valve & called for help. Dan showed up right away & asked good questions to determine the problem. He then turned my water back on to assess further. He explained what he thought might be wrong & the steps necessary to fix it. Sure enough, Dan was right & he made a point to explain what the problem was. It took a few minutes for the repair to be completed. Dan was friendly & polite during the time he was in my home. These guys are great! I was not expecting someone to be able to come out the next day but they did, gave me a 2 instead of a 4 hour window and came right at the start of it like they said they likely would. The technician was very nice, knowledgeable, and let me know what the costs would be exactly so that there would be no misunderstandings, and charged a very reasonable price compared to other electricians I had called in the area. The woman who scheduled the appointment on the phone was also very professional and efficient. Id highly recommend these electricians (cant speak for the other services yet, but I will be calling them for my plumbing and AC needs in the future!)

People usually comment when they are unhappy. We feel compelled to comment because we are so happy with ABT. We have an older Grass Valley rental property we just purchased. The general contractor we hired to renovate it, for reasons unknown, damaged much of the plumbing. Todd of ABT repaired the contractors mistakes and renovated the remaining plumbing so we wouldnt have problems in the future. Todd was very knowledgeable, practical and patient. He stuck with the job until it was all finished in spite of the fact he had to continually leave to locate parts.

Dan and his assistant provided the BEST of any service call I have EVER experienced. Ten feet of my sewer line had to be replaced with a large section fo my front lawn having to be removed. Three toilets needed to be replaced in a three storied, one hundred year old home where the toilets (2) were improperly installed and malfunctioning. They worked perfectly with my insurance company on the sewer issue and with me on everything else. Dan carefully explained everything to me, giving me valuable data without any sales pitch. No messes, all questions answered to my satisfaction, no evidence of lawn removal and replacement in front yard!!! Wow! These guys were awesome, and I am most grateful . Oh!...and they did it all in one day!

My hot water heater went out the day before Thanksgiving. I called on Friday morning and they came out to diagnose the issue very quickly, arriving before Noon that day. They followed up and ordered the part as soon as possible and had me in hot water by Tuesday.

The king of NO-SHOW! Do not use them unless you have plenty of time to wait and your time isnt important to you. I scheduled both a plumber and electrician. On the day the plumber was supposed to come out I received a call to re-schedule so we moved it to the same day the electrician was scheduled 12/4/18. This morning I receive a call telling me that neither of them will show up today and they can either re-schedule or recommend another company. I was counting on having this done today and now Im stuck. I wont use them again and if this is how they are when trying to get the work, I warn: BUYER BEWARE if you have actually hired them.

I had a pipe repair begin to leak a few months after the warranty had expired. They made it out here on a weekend night, fixed it in less than an hour, and even charged me less than the weekend service fee because of the close proximity to the warranty expiration. Great service!

The electrician put a electical box on the bottom of the cabinet where we were installing a microwave. He did not put it in the wall. It took him less than an hour for $376. $376 for a small job. Next time I get someone else.
