I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Im so sad that I turn 18 in a few months and I have to go to a different dentist. The staff is always so friendly, caring and professional. I’ve never had a bad experience at this establishment, they always make sure that their patient is comfortable and happy. Not to mention it’s great for kids who have a problem with sitting still, I have adhd and being able to choose and watch a movie helps a lot with sitting still. I would recommend this place to anyone because they actually care about their patients’ experience. Thank you to the Caring Tree staff for making sure that I always had a good experience at the dentists, I’ll miss you all so very much!

This place is awesome. We took our son to see Dr. K and she 3ad great with him. He is hyper sensitive to new things, textures, and flavors. Dr. K and staff were well prepared for it and everything went smoothly. Offices are very clean and they wipe down everything in-between kids. We liked it so much we book our daughter appointments as well.

Caring Tree is a really nice dentist office, my two daughters love it. The staff is great and they make sure to not try to guilt the kids if they have cavities or dental problems but instead encourage them to try to fix there teeth. A lot of children don’t like going to the dentist and that’s how my kids felt when they first were brought to Caring Tree, but the Dr. Michelle and her team did there best to make my kids feel comfortable, safe, and happy. They let them watch movies while they work on there teeth and they give them sugar free lollipops, toothbrushes, stickers, and balloons after there appointment. If you want your child to have a big, happy smile, take them to Caring Tree!

Such a wonderful and compassionate childrens dentist. Dr. K is so great with both of my boys. We started care with her after a scary tooth abscess and have been with her and her team ever since. I am always amazed at her care for my children and her ability to do her job with squirming boys. Her staff is also so happy and helpful.

Such a great experience! The staff are warm and friendly, the Dr was also very calm and patient with my children. Nothing felt rushed or pushed. So happy to have my kids look forward to going to the Caring Tree!

Cannot say enough about Dr. K and her staff. They are so wonderful at making us feel comfortable and take time out to address any and all concerns. My son has a really hard time with doctors but Dr. K is patient and understanding. I never leave feeling like there is anything we don’t understand. Thank you for all you guys do!!

If I could give more stars I would! My son (2.5) doesnt do well with doctors or loud noises, so I was nervous about his first trip to the dentist. Front he moment we walked into the building, he got to follow a set of footprints to the dentist office. He thought that was so fun! They also had a great selection of toys to play with that put him at ease. They were so kind and patient with him and explained everything and showed him everything before they did or used it. They even gave him a balloon afterwards, which was his favorite part! Hes being saying, I had fun at the dentist! I couldnt have asked for a better experience for his first trip to the dentist. We will definitely continue to go here and will recommend them to everyone we know!

Both my children 7 and 9 years old have been coming here since they were 2 yrs old. We absolutely love them!! The receptionists are amazing and friendly Dr k is awesome with both my kids I highly recommend them to everyone!

I love this office! They are all so kind, gentle and excellent with my boys.

All three of my kids always love going to the dentist, thanks to the kind staff at Caring Tree. They are very sweet and patient with them all and excellent with communication. Any anxiety is taken out of the trip by explaining things well and offering an engaging wait room as well as shows to watch during the appointment. We’ve been very happy!

We had a really wonderful experience with Dr. K and her staff. Our kids are 4 and 2 and both had very smooth visits. We have been to two other pediatric dentists because we have lived in other areas and Caring tree has definitely been the best. You can tell that a lot of care and consideration has been put into creating a really positive experience for both children and their parents. They go the extra mile and I am so glad my kids now have a positive association with their dentist considering oral health plays such an important role in our overall health. Thank you caring tree:)

Dr. K is so great with children! I like that she shows them the tools she will be using in their mouths. My son had to have two teeth removed at 2 years old and it was scary for us, but Dr. K and her team did an amazing job and he healed up nicely! Would definitely recommend Caring Tree Dentistry for your kiddos!

Today was my daughters 1st appointment, she’s 17months old. The staff was caring and patient. They are really good about asking about the parents concerns and addressing them. I also love that they send you home with a patient “report card” so that when you get home you can review the things that were talked about. They also book the next cleaning for you, and just confirm that the date and time will work, it’s nice to have the next appointment taken care of right away.

Do NOT go here. I specified that my child was not to have X-rays in writing on the intake form and verbally when I dropped my child off. Because of COVID-19 I was not able to accompany my child during her cleaning. Afterward, the staff told me they had taken X-rays because the needed them. My parental decision was completely ignored.

This was our first time back since COVID19. It was very well-organized and safe. We were the only people there and everyone had masks on. As always we had an excellent, caring experience at Caring Tree. We are grateful to have them caring for our children!

My son has been a patient of Dr. Ks since he was 15 months old after a traumatic mouth injury. She took him from being terrified of anyone touching his mouth, to now being 6 years old and the dentist is no big deal. Thank you Caring Tree, I wouldnt take Isaiah anywhere else.

Dr K and Bailey were amazing with my daughter. Lexi has a tendency of spitting at dentists. This may have been her first visit where that she did not. She was able to keep her calm and listening better than she normally does. I was thankful they listened to what i had to say and that I was able to sit back in the room with Lexi. The other childrens dentist offices did not allow me to be in the room with her. But I was able to sit with her until she was calmly laying back and I could go out without her being scared.

Thank you for being so helpful every time we come in. We always look forward to visiting the dentist. We’ve been to e dentist at western Sierra medical clinic and we prefer coming here. Thank you for being so awesome.

Caring tree is a very family friendly childrens dentist. They are so kind and sweet. The wait time is very fast, the waiting room is very quiet, clean and has lots of reading material and toys for the kids. Dr.K the dentist is so patient and gentle with the kids. All dental assistants, RDAs and front seat staff and very kind and accommodating to your schedule. They are respectful and very educating. They accept medical. They also have another office in Lincoln, CA. Overall this is a 5 star spot and I highly recommend you take your children and teens here for the best dental care.

Moved my children to Nevada County after living in the Bay Area for years. Figured Id just keep their pediatric dentist in the Bay Area which was fine for a year...until my daughter broke her tooth and I needed an emergency dental appointment. Dr. Kucera came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Ive since transferred all of my children over to this office. I appreciate how expensive dental treatments are not pushed but most importantly, my children feel comfortable.

Caring tree understands kids so well. I have two very skeptical toddlers who were won over within minutes during their first appointments here. All of the dental staff are so kind and make the kids feel special while they are there. Also, kids get a free balloon after their appointment so...

My son Kingston loves visiting the dentist (and how many children feel that way?!) He feels relaxed and has the hardest time choosing between a balloon or pen at the end of the appointment.

My son has been going to Caring tree for 14 years. He was so tiny in the chairs when we started there when he was 2. The staff and I got a giggle out of how they dont have chairs that really fit his 6 ft+ body anymore. They have always been incredible with his care, so much weve been coming up from Yuba City for 11 years just to stay with them.

It’s very important for me to feel welcomed, heard and valued as a parent. I never feel ‘blown off’ or devalued at caring tree. That is important to me. We’ve had serious dental work done here. I have the means to get free services at a local clinic, but feel more comfortable here. So- this is where I take my 5 year old. Even though I’m a cash patient... it’s worth the comfort of feeling welcomed and cared for by all the staff. That is why I give 5 stars. I’ve never felt like we were not important. And the level of patience and care my child receives is priceless.

My son has autism and is only 3, so I figured checking out his teeth was gonna be difficult, but his dentist and assistants were so nice and we got it done quick and had a great check up! Definitely staying with them!! And the $5 gift card for the parents at the end was awesome ;)

We absolutely love Dr. Kucera and the whole staff. Everyone is so kind. My girls genuinely get excited to visit the dentist. So much that I usually don’t tell them about the appointment until the day before, because if I tell them too far in advance they relentlessly ask me daily if it’s time for the dentist. We truly couldn’t be happier with the care we receive from Caring Tree.

This place has a really cool kid friendly environment; however, the dental practices implemented are toxic to childrens neurology and arent worth it. Fluoride is a known neurotoxin. The doctor hands out prescriptions and when asked why the substance needs a prescription she told me I dont know YIKES! Clearly this office is uninformed. I highly recommend Auburn Natural Dentistry instead.

Dr. K is awesome! She is very informative and interacts with her patients! My son is 2 and she allows him to do whatever he needs to feel comfortable. She adapts to the individual child instead of making the child adapt to her.

My four kids are patients of Caring Tree and they never complain about going. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room has some great toys for younger ones and a good selection of magazines/books.

My son is 2 and he gets very nervous for dental appointments. But he does very well at Caring Tree. They are patient and sweet, he is able to get his teeth cleaned and cared for very well because they make him feel comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Kucera and her staff to all families. We love it there!

The staff at Caring Tree are always friendly and are so patient and understanding with toddlers anxiety’s and needs. Their office is always clean, and they are on time so your not sitting and waiting for more than 5min in the lobby.

Update: Today was my daughters 2nd dentist appointment at the Caring Tree and we were just as pleased as we were when we visited at 14 months of age! I was very pleased with Caring Tree and the staff we saw there; it was clean, inviting and very child friendly. My daughter, although upset by her first mouth exam (of course she would be), perked up really quick afterwards and I could tell she was just confused rather than in any pain etc... I have a great feeling about this office and I look forward to our return.

October 2, 2019. I called on Monday about a chipped tooth. They rescheduled our annual checkup. Both my boys were seen the next day. My youngest didnt want to leave. Its always a positive experience. I can’t thank Dr. K and the team at Caring Tree Dentistry enough for the care that gave my son (and all of us really). My 20 month old son was in extreme pain from when he broke his front teeth in a fall. He desperatly needed those teeth removed and we were all very nervous to have such a procedure done. I found Dr. K online and chose to go to caring tree based on the google reviews... I’m so glad we did and I hope this review can help another family make the decision to choose this dentist as well.Everything about the office in Grass Valley is caring. There’s a beautiful soothing waterfall and tree in the lobby (which helped my son calm down and relax after his intense procedure), great toys and books to entertain the kids. And although of course the last thing anyone wants to do is have their baby’s teeth pulled, Dr. K and her team made it as quick and seamless as possible, they treated us all with such care and respect. My little guy was immediately feeling better and by the next morning he was his happy playful self, he kept saying “dentist helped me feel better” 😭😭😭💓💓💓He healed up so nicely.I am so greatful to the whole team at Caring Tree for their compassion, expertise, skill and support.

The staff and dentists are so nice and gentle. My daughter was scared the first time she needed to go to the dentist, but after that first time she was excited to go everytime. They really care about her. Her teeth where a mess and caring tree fixed her up so well and her smile is beautiful.

My daughter walked out happy and smiling. Wonderful staff! It was a really good experience for her and shes already asking when she gets to go back. 4 year old.

A year and a half ago, we ended up at Caring Tree Dentistry to get a “second opinion” on our 6 year old’s predicament. Because of severe anxiety, she had not had x-rays before 6. And by the time she did, there was a lot of decay and crowding and she needed some extensive work (baby root canals, extractions, crowns, & fillings). About $10K worth. We drove 5 hours to get this second opinion and it was obvious to all of us that this was a much better fit for us. Dr K was very attentive and took time to explain everything that she thought should be done and why; had a policy of doing the minimum required based on what she found once she was into a tooth; and was even flexible enough to take Sara’s separation anxiety into consideration. We are able to pay at time of service, and receive a generous discount because of it. The staff and Dr K all had a calming presence and Sara felt safe there (which she did not at the place closer to home). After 2 very long and invasive procedures in the “special room”, her only complaint was that her headphones kept slipping off and she couldn’t hear the movie. Ha! She still has no idea that novacaine involves a shot. And when she had the “sleeping potion”, she was so comfy that she didn’t mind me sitting in the lobby for the hour and a half she was being worked on (first time she ever let me leave her with anyone not immediate family). After both of her long procedures, Dr K called us personally to check on how Sara was doing. I couldn’t feel more taken care of. We just had a regular cleaning today and she got gold stars. Dr Kucera will be our dentist until Sara graduates high school and we have to move on. She’s worth the 5 hour drive!
