STAY AWAY!!!! ZERO STARSAs you can see from others reviews, this place has terrible customer service. The medical assistants that answer the phone have poor training and get argumentative when you question anything. Even their supervisor had terrible customer service, which explains the trickle down effect. They have taken on so many patients, good luck getting an appointment anytime in the next 2 months, even when you require a CPAP to keep you from having serious risks to life threatening conditions.AVOID THIS PLACE ANYWAY YOU CAN!

My wife who is long time sleep study patient, starting with Lee Marmion, has never confessed to her main sleep disorder, which also costs me lots of sleep, and that is her claim that she can not sleep without the TV on. She literally has it on all night long.Because I know she would never admit this to a caregiver, I want to make it known in the hope that you may be able to help her understand that this is a giant sleep disorder.

It took me asking for a possible closer location to my home. Location should be considered when assigning you to a health care location. New location will save my commute by 10 min and alot of traffic stress. Too bad it couldnt have happened before I was late for the last 4 appts and now having to reschedule out by 3 weeks. I hope I dont run out of medications before that appt. I was with Lake Dr, now transferring to 68th. So frustrating. It shouldnt have to come to this. Calling ahead from my car to inform them of traffic delays does not help to save my appt either.

Youd think for the cost of health care in the US, you could at least get halfway decent customer service. SHMGSM proves this theory wrong. While the technicians and doctors seem acceptable (provided you can get an appointment), the rest of their staff lack basic people skills, especially on the Durable Medical side. Spectrum really needs to clean house here and invest in some decent training for its employees, but they are probably beyond help. This place hasnt had a legitimate 5 star review in years. Normally Id say to shy away from the 1 star reviews, but they are absolutely spot on . . . and there are plenty of them.

Even after you see a Doctor you cant get anyone by phone. Ridiculous! How can you give them zero stars. And pleae dont reply with the number you gave others,you get put on hold AGAIN!

I absolutely love the providers I have seen there, and the sleep study was comfortable and as enjoyable as it could be, but scheduling is a nightmare. The earliest appointment you can ever get is three months out at the absolute earliest, but usually it’s more like a four month wait. When I first scheduled my sleep study I was desperate for a diagnosis and treatment, but they scheduled it wrong causing a two month delay in addition to the four month wait for the study/appointment (because the staff didn’t realize their error in scheduling the type of study I needed until two months after it was made). The fact that they are so busy combined with an inept (and at times rude) scheduling staff is very stressful and inconvenient to say the least. On top of that, I have had trouble with prescription refills more often than not. Either they forget to call in the prescription to the pharmacy, or it takes forever to be called in. This experience has been consistent for a couple of years now. The only reason I stay with this facility is because I like the doctors so much. I really do wish I could be giving a better review.

4 phone calls and still the appointment was made incorrectly. My pulmonary doctor ordered a bipap machine rental. I already had a previous sleep study done. The staff lied and said that my insurance required a new sleep study. I called my insurance and discovered that it was a lie. No thank you. Not going there again.

The provider I worked with in Holland gets 5 stars, unfortunately scheduling is done thru GR and they get 0 stars. .. they misrepresented available dates at other facilities to force me to schedule study in GR. it took 2 mo to schedule study because the scheduling staff also does pre-authorizations and they are in no hurry to get appointment scheduled. It felt like they were working against me, not helping. When no one answered phone at DME, I asked to switch DME provider, I got a call before 9 am that sounded more like an angry reprimand than a phone call to clear things up. I highly recommend Holland & Zeeland hospital sleep study, but you need to get past the scheduling staff to get there.

My online bill was over double what it should of been according to the bills I received in the mail. I called their billing department and learned they had charged me for an EEG test that I had never done.$400 dollars for a test that never happened.Went through the mail and never received a notice for the test or a bill for it.

Trying to get an appointment scheduled or a refill for a prescription is a NIGHTMARE. I love my care provider, but its not worth the hassle.

Scheduling/reception staff are very rude. Also the doc will order up extra tests to inflate the bottom line. Steer clear if you have any other choices.
