They do try to help men coming out of prison or are homeless by referring them to community resources to get them the help they need and we do have a good work force development program
Theyre helping a lot of men get their lives back. May the Lord bless their efforts!
Wonderful program. Amy is awesome. The men are very helpful. Thank you all
Dont go here its falling apart and they aint doing nothing to fix it
I think this place should be a model of places elsewhere..I cant help but judge how people and the city im in takes care of people on the slide of life..go there do what your supposed to and they do their part which is alot.....so if you cant fit in here you are the problem ..great staff..and if no one else says Thank You i will ...
I have a friend there. They do a lot for those who need a safe place to live, during tough times. Just, depressingly, institutional to me.
Great place for men who don’t want to go to a shelter. Food, laundry, stuff to do, a barber, health care and a deck that overlooks the river.
Its ok
No curfew and meals provided and covered by food stamps. They have a point program for keeping your room clean and you can use them to buy stuff in the store on site. They only allow males to live here. There are no mandatory chores. They offer classes and job help to residents. They cater to ex felons and low income people. You can get a single bed or shared room. Shared rooms run you about $600.00 in rent but you dont pay for utilities. The rooms are very small being about 15 by 15 foot.
Friendly atmosphere. A place to organize, reprioritize, and gain a positive life direction.
Home of the bad boys and jail house love.lived there 1 year. hate it very much.good radio station. WEXP Underground Radio - The of jail house love.give them 5 stars for their radio station.give them 1 star for a place to live.
They do a good service for the community and operate like a well-oiled machine. It was a pleasure volunteering there and Im looking forward to more volunteer opportunities.
Exodus Place serves its community well. They serve a great purpose and do a great job of it. The staff seems to be very friendly.
Not a place I care to visit
I think what they do here is great such a blessing. My husband and I have a donut Ministry we take them Donuts probably once a month it is a blessing to be a blessing!!!😇
Horrible place, bed bug, Nat, mice, rats and black mold infested, food is terrible and has hair in it, along with dust mites in the food and soft drinks, i would not recommend this place to anyone or even on my worse enemy for that matter!!!!! Drugs and alcohol come in and out everyday, worse staff ever. A cousin of mine use to stay there for a couple months and just left there a few weeks ago over being sick and couldnt hold anything down. Place should be closed down and condemned!
They have bedbugs and god only knows what else they have. The building is very nice though.
A place a guy could get a fresh start and sort his priorities out. If he uses the resources available to him.
A Hand Up not A Hand Out! Great Place...
They are patient and understanding they will help you to their ability
I came here from prison and am now a full time employee. They are here to help you with a fresh start and help you to achieve it.
Best program available helping men help themselves
Job interview, program director is great.
This is were folks go if they have nowhere to live, but its for men and rent is due.
How are homeless people supposed to pay 400 a month ?Doesnt make sense to me
I walked past this place some of the people are nice but still leery about who is staying there due to the fact of past experience of being homeless and knowing that certain people abused the Privileges that which theyre part of or part of the program that which is developed there for getting people off the street then helping and aiding the homeless I consider this environment to be a Band-Aid its a short-term solution not fixing the long-term problem
This place gives me the opportunity to help myself
This place takes food that is DONATED and sells it back to the residents
Where do I begin...
Provides a good affordable housing
Vary unprofessional staff. They treat everyone like they are children or even worse in prison. They look the other way when someone gets beat up unless it is one of there favorites. Not a ministry like they say.
Very helpful to the community
Exodus place is one of the hidden gems of Grand rapids that is looked over. I wish more people knew about this place.
Nice staff
Nice place to eat
Offers a home for those recently released from prison or homeless.
