I had brain surgery with Dr. Figueroa 2 months ago. He was professional, caring and thorough. Our first consultation meeting with him lasted almost an hour. I was amazed at the time he was spending with us and his patience at answering so many questions. The post surgery meeting was the same. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Figueroa is amazing! Great bed-side manner. Great doctor and takes time with his patients and their families. You don’t feel like he’s rushing through to get to the next patient. Love him!

He appears to listen and give advice, but when he is unable to treat your condition he fails to document all the information he gives to you. He waited over 5 days to complete the documentation from my appointment. Another Neurologist had to read it to me. He left out 80 percent of what was discussed during the appointment. He then refused to add an addendum to the note as he advised me to research a particular condition and look for treatment at a specialty hospital, because he was unable to treat my condition. When I attempted to speak with him, his nurse Laurie refused to let me speak with him. She was rude and extremely condescending. This was the most unprofessional medical service I have ever recieved. I would look for a different neurosurgeon. If he cant communicate with his patients or provide them with appropriate documentation that he discusses with them I would be extremely cautious with allowing him to operate on the most vital organ in your body.

I LIVED TO TELL THE TALE!6 months after my Service Overseas, I was once again in a helicopter, this time as a pass-anger Spectrum Health Grand Rapids. Where Dr Figueroa scheduled me as a “PRIORITY1”. It’s been a decade, and if I had to have another Neurological Emergency... Call Dr. Figueroa. Thank you Doc.

L have been delighted with the results of my craniotomy. I had my surgery 1 day and an AVF embolization day 2. Doctor Fig and all his staff were informative, helpful and so kind l wouldnt think of going else where. Great job and great follow up!

My Dr found an aneurysm on a Friday and I was in to see Dr Figueroa on Monday. He performed a crainiotomy to clamp the aneurysm behind my eye and saved my life. Im very lucky to be alive and its all thanks to him!!!

Great Neurosurgeon and a nice guy who takes time to explain things. I had a craniotomy to remove a colloid brain cyst on Monday March 5th and was back home Wednesday March 7th by 1pm. On Saturday morning I took my last pain meds and have not had any since. On Sunday I was feeling better than I have in years moving around normally all my coordination returned. Thank you Dr. Figueroa!!!!

Doctor Figueroa helped my Mother with some very complex issues and extended her life greatly with a shunt . He did all this in a very caring manner . If i could give 6 stars ,i would . One of the other doctors in this office did a great job on restoring my wife use of her right arm -5 stars also.
