Deciding to work for Interim was one of the best decisions I’ve made. As a Mom and wife, being able to make my own schedule is a must. My scheduler always responds to me in a timely manner and is available when needed to answer my questions. If you need the flexibility of making your own schedule and would like the option to work at different facilities and/or home care, Interim is for you!

Interim is a great place to work if you are looking for a easy going company who works with you on any situation that may arise. Like all companies they have their faults but I can say unlike alot of companies out there they do work hard to fix any short comings they may have. You can pick up as many hours as you like an they offer more then just one or two places you can go, its not just for in home care they also work with many facilities throughout Michigan an other states. I personally have only been with them a couple short months but I can say my experience has been wonderful so far. I look forward to seeing an experiencing the advancements they offer as you continue to work with them. This career choice is not easy but it is needed all over the world an a company who takes care of their staff just as much as the staff takes care of them is a once in a lifetime. Lots of different places to pick up at. Very few call offs. Usually gave a couple days notice when it happened. I work PRN and I dont like I dont get pto or sick days.

We get a caregiver for my father-in-law for three days a week. He just loves this woman, she does everything we ask, very prompt very fast always on time. She actually talks to him and makes him feel like he is important and she always ask him if it’s OK if she could do something before doing it. I really appreciate that. He has Dementia and very old fashion. He likes the respect. When new ladies come they are also prompt , very nice, and treats him well. If I need care I would ask for them to come in my home to help.

Best company I have had the privilege to work for. As a facility employee I have been to different facilities and when I found ones I really like and told my scheduler she made sure to text me every time more days were available. When I needed time off no questions was asked they did whatever they had to do to get my shifts covered.

Okay, so in October I will have been working for interim for a year Im a CNA I get sent to different facilities. The office staff is so very friendly at interim and they genuinely care about there employees. They make you feel appreciated and they dont shun you like how most places do if you cant pick up a certain shift they understand I love the flexibility and being able to make my own schedule I would 💯 recommend this place for employment.

Terrible agency. Left mom alone twice. Communication is lacking. Caregivers are marking time for money. Most wouldn’t make sure she showered or brushed her teeth. They rarely did any housework, let alone fix a meal. Late twice picking her up at adult daycare. Used them 3 weeks.

I work as a staff scheduler for a skilled nursing facility. Interim has provided us with consistent, high quality care givers. I really appreciate Interims efforts to send the same caregivers to our facility as it helps create continuity of care for our residents. Logan has been especially easy to work with. I am pleased with my current position at Interim. The scheduling and payroll departments have been more than accommodating, and always friendly. As a full time student pursuing continuing education, I love the convenience and flexibility of choosing my own hours. The only downside I see is waiting a full year for insurance benefits. I work for Interim Staffing as a registered nurse, I am writing this review to let everyone know why they are a great company to work for. From, the amount of hours you can accumulate each week, to the fact that you get paid weekly instead of every-other week, to how supportive the management team is of their employees. There is always someone on-call to answers questions or concerns. As a nurse who has been with Interim for almost a year, I can say to a certainty that if your looking for a company that believes in open communication, support of their co-workers and is timely at resp onding. Ive been with Interim a little over a year, as a CNA. Within this time frame Ive received an abundance of support. The schedulers make sure I get the hours that I am looking for, If I have any concerns theyre on top of it with rapid response! My parents have your company working for them right now, I debated on whether to give you a two-star or a three-star rating. The first three weeks my parents had your people coming in they were great this last four weeks they have sent nothing but young girls that dont know a thing have not been trained how to care for an invalid Dont even know how to turn on a burner on a stove or how to turn it down very disappointed. I might suggest that youre young people are trained before they ever even go out in the field to work for families it has been ridiculous. W e called for a printout of what youre charging us and the girl doesnt even know how to make a print out Said she had to ask her supervisor if she could send one to you. My parents dont need all this stress.I was very surprised when I started reading your ratings that they come from your employees and not from the people you work for.Also, there have been several times when your workers are supposed to be there and never show up and dont even call.

As a fairly new scheduler for Interims facility staffing department, I can tell you that this is the most caring team that I have ever worked for. The schedulers training me, constantly go above and beyond for their employees every day. This is an amazing company not just because you can pick your own schedule and the decent starting pay. The individuals that you interact with your schedulers ect are the most caring understanding staff I have ever seen. As an employee I am treated better than any place Ive ever worked. I primarily work at facilities and the interim staff has gone above and beyond with there insentives and available hours. Every facility I go to are also very eager to work together with agency to make shifts run smooth the opportunity to make more is great with Merritt raises every three months. In summery 10/10 would recommend to anyone experienced or looking for entry level into nursing. Best job I have ever had for the best company I have ever worked for.

Most unreliable company Ive ever dealt with. Staff would be scheduled and then never show up without even having the common courtesy to call and let someone know. When their scheduler would be informed they would become unprofessional and very rude......dont use this company to staff any of your units

Love my scheduling team!!

Very undependable. The worse communications ever seen in a health care agency. Office staff continually will make scheduling changes and then neglect to make sure that aide and client know about the changes. Likewise if an Aide calls in sick, the schedulers wait til the last minute to look for replacements and let the client know. They usually blame it on the Aide, but responsibility usually lies with office staff. They will do everything they can to get missed hours made up so they dont lose money, while totally missing the point that important treatments, medications, dressing changes, meals and so on simply cant be made up on some other day. All the AREA AGENCY ON AGING does is tell clients that Intrim has its problems but there are far worse. There doesnt seem to be much Advocacy on behalf of the client.If your loved one cant articulate problems, does not realize when they are lacking important medications or services or are having items and money taken, shifts not filled out: make sure you have a relative overseeing the day to day operation or look for a different agency.

The company it’s self is OK. The people are nice for the most part however what I would warn field staff about is the fact that you have to mail your TimeSheets in and the payroll at this company is unorganized. I’ve had issues with my pay severalTimes and they often times lose your TimeSheets and then you have to wait another entire week to get paid due to fault on payrolls behalf. A few of the facilities they send you to are pretty bad so beware. However once more staff at interim are nice and do what they can to work with you and make sure you are happy with your job. It’s the payroll department and the “system” they have in pace that makes it bad. Who does paper TimeSheets anymore? If you wanna risk not being paid at times then by allMeans go to this company. This is the huge negative for them. And no one wants to have to wait on their pay because their payroll department makes major mistakes. Recommend they get with the times and go electronic if TimeSheets are gonna get lost and they claim were not “received”. I’d choose wisely when it comes to that. Otherwise company in my opinion can have a fair rating.

I have been working as a home health aide for Interim for the last two years now. Although there have been minimal problems in the past, I must admit that this has been probably one of my favorite and most fulfilling jobs, second to motherhood.

The most unreliable company I have ever dealt with! They provided in home healthcare for my mother. Two, two hour shifts were paid for through the Area Agency on Aging and the rest of the shifts were out of pocket. Their first date of service was October 13, 2014. Their final day was January 12, 2015. Between those dates they had 11 no-shows. There is no accountability in place and Interim doesnt know if their employees are at the site or not. One of the no-shows my mother, 77, quad bypass a year ago with Parkinsons called me at 1:00am from the floor [removed]. On several occasions I have asked to have Margaret Beck, owner, return my call and she did not. In fact the afternoon after my mother was on the floor I received a text message from Margarets phone, it read: Sir...please check your contact number for the agency or service that cares for your mother...this is a personal one...I hope she is ok...and that you straighten out the folks not doing their job... :). I asked Margaret about the text message and she told me that she did not send it (yet it came from her phone number). If you care about a loved one and respect their wishes to stay at home instead of going into assisted living, Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is NOT the company for you. I would like to add that Interim canceled our services with the Area Agency on Aging with a two week notice, but never notified us that they were through with the out of pocket services . That would be five more two hour shifts per week. Which leaves us high and dry until we hire a reliable company. Never, ever use Interim!!

Its not the company, its those handful of aids that are bad and blame the company! They blame the company so much, that I figured out their lying, its them not knowing what to do, the company does not know if their good or bad unless you tell them, and they wont send them back either, too many complaints, they fire them. The top people in the Company will bust their butt to please you, so please dont blame the company, for a few horrible aids, all Healthcare companies got some good, and bad aids, believe me, I know, been thru most companies, but steady with Interim going on 3 years, and the ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars, is them few bad aids, I have two super good ones, Interim knows I like them, and move the earth to make sure I keep them, thank you, Interim!
