Love this place. Had my first pedicure last week. Was great.. My nails turned out awesome!

They were really busy but got us right in! Super friendly staff that made it fun for the kiddos, will be back soon for my own super deluxe mani/pedi!

Had a lovely experience with this place today! They were available and quick to get us in had a lovely cozy lavender jelly pedicure and my it was so relaxing! Also got some lovely nail art added! Everyone was so nice and everything was clean! Definitely will be coming back again

Came here on Wednesday 6/23 for a shellac manicure because it’s the only place that could get me in. I was a bit concerned about the negative reviews but decided to give it a chance anyway because I desperately needed a manicure. It was horrible. She peeled all of my old shellac off rather than soaking in acetone. Spent a total of 2 minutes clipping my cuticles, didn’t even ask me the shape I wanted them filed. Once she started painting, it was so rushed and she only had my nails under the UV nail light for 30 seconds each coat. Every other place I’ve ever gone to does 60 seconds. I was there a total of 35 minutes which included removing my old shellac and my manicure, which is way too fast and rushed. The paint job was sloppy and messy. It’s now Saturday, 6/26, 3 days after my manicure and the shellac is already chipping and peeling up at my cuticles. I will never be back here and would never recommend. Waste of money.

We had a wonderful time and outstanding pedicures. We were a group of 4. We got the Chamomile pedicures - excellent and highly recommend.

Gl nails used to be my favorite nail salon to go to. Ive been there 3 times recently and all 3 times my experience was bad. 1st, if you have a appointment they continue to take walk ins, so theres basically no point in even making a appointment, I had the guy that answers the phone start my nails and another lady finish them.2nd, Ive never had a good shape to my nail, they are always bulky and never look the same as the nail next to it3rd, they take your nails off the wrong way to save time. They try and pry the nail off by wedging a nail tip in between your natural nail and acrylic. Or they use a e-file and pure your nail.4th, I showed a picture of what I wanted, if you cant make it look similar. Tell me you cant do the design. Not attempt n have it look bad.

HORRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Got this done two days ago and it’s completely come off. WOULD NOT GIVE A REFUND. THIS IS THE GEL! Took them two tries to get it on then this happened a day later. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Not Good service and not worth spending money there

We had a reservation, made in advance, and still had to wait for our pedicure. When we did have our turn, they rushed through and didnt do a very good job. Disappointed!

I felt like the nail techs were too distracted while doing people nails. I didnt really like the busy environment while getting my nails because I couldnt really enjoy it the experience. Also, I fell that some the workers use the language barrier to get you pay more for things that you do not need.

I’m giving the salon a four star rating; however, I am giving the technician (Ben) a ten star rating. I first had Ben during Coast Guard week and even though they were busy Ben made me feel like I was the only client he had. Just left there today, again had an amazing experience. Not sure how but it was even better then my first time. Ben is the best nail technician I have ever had! Thanks Ben!!

I went in to have my nails filled and shellac done. I was a walk in and they got me right in which was nice. However I asked for a VERY simple design on two nails (a very small heart on both and a line on one.) She stated that she would try... there were many people there and other times I’ve been places if someone can’t do a design, they get someone who can do it real quick. So I noticed when she was putting the polish on, that my index finger didn’t look right. It looked as if she didn’t fill the whole nail. I know she saw this because she kept looking at it and polishing over the spot. I assumed she would fix it since I know she was aware of it. Then when she did the design, I was shocked at how she didn’t seem to try at all... she even laughed and said it looked bad and took it off and tried again. I will take responsibility for not telling her it wasn’t what I wanted. I DEFINITELY should have told her. It’s my own fault that I left there disappointed. I think I was more shocked than anything and I’m just not the type to complain. I guess I hoped it didn’t look as bad as it did and that after it dried and had a top coat it would look a little better. (Sometimes to me that is the case). I can live with an ugly Pinterest-fail looking design on my nails for two weeks especially since it’s my fault for not speaking up... HOWEVER, my index nail that she knew was not done properly is my main complaint. The very next day I noticed it pulling away from my real nail at the top by the cuticle. My hair keeps getting caught in it and it gets worse each day. At this point it has been one week and it feels as if the nail will just fall off soon. I couldn’t go back in to have it fixed with my busy schedule and I don’t feel that I should have had to. The whole manicure looks horrible. My daughter saw the design and mentioned that it looks like a kid drew with sharpie on them, and my index nail is falling off. I will never go back there... I spent $35 including the tip. If a person can’t do a simple design, they should just get someone who can or say they can’t do it. And like I said, I shouldn’t have to go back in to have my index finger repaired. It should have been done right in the first place.

Attention to detail could be better

I just had the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon in my life! Honest to God the woman who was working on my nails should not even be in the industry. She did one nail at a time and put it in the shellac dryer which I thought was nuts! She then forgot to do my nail design. So she stopped my hand massage and had somebody else do the design. As I was going to pay for my nails I realized that they were all sticky and not dry even though they should be completely dry with shellac. So she put another topcoat on and now they are all rough! She also cut down every single one of my nails without asking. I went with a friend and her shellac manicure was done 45 minutes before mine. The whole experience was terrible I will never go back here.

I was SO excited to get a mani/pedi done after 4 months because of covid and GL is right next to where we just moved so i figured it’d be the perfect place to try out and make my regular spot. My pedicure was great, but my set of acrylics were being done at the same time - which I understand everyone in the beauty industry is hustling right now after being closed for so long but it was incredibly uncomfortable and the results were unpleasant and painful. I always get almond shaped nails and I like them a tad pointy and I got shellac because I am a hairstylist so I don’t want my nails to chip easily. On their website it said an acrylic set is $25. it says absolutely nothing about charging extra for shape (which i understand if you need to, but advertise that or simply just inform me before the service is being done) so that was an extra $10. shellac is an extra ) $10 - which i expected. They charged me $55. I wasn’t even able to really look at my nails because they seemed like they were rushing me out of the door after I just paid $110 for a pedi/mani and then tipped both of them $20 a piece for their work. As soon as I got to my car I was able to see how terrible they were. Uneven acrylic laying, only 3/4 of my nail being covered with acrylic, i was burnt 6x with the drill, and half of these nails aren’t to my cuticle. I messaged them and they called me within 10 minutes and in my message I was very kind considering my experience. I asked for a refund of the $55 for the manicure and the woman I talked to refused because the service had already been done and I shouldn’t have paid for it if I didn’t like it. She then offered $10 off my fill or I could come in tonight or later this week and get them fixed. I really just want my money back & to never step foot in there again. GL Nails pretty much shoved a bit “f you” in my face. As an independent contractor in the beauty industry myself .. this is NOT how you handle these kinds of situations and you absolutely know when your work is not acceptable. I will not be returning. You guys could have just given me my money back instead of gaining more bad publicity.

Ive been twice now in the last year for pedis and enjoyed my experience. I ask them not to cut my toenails and cuticles for my own personal reasons and theyre good with that. Most of the employees speak English well and the others are able to communicate or ask for translation. Theyre great at the nail art as well, I let them do what they want. Clean place with experienced employees.

Loved this place! My daughter is 9 and they did acrylic nails and they looked awesome! I got best pedicure ever thank you! We will b back soon!!

The first time I went with friends, the experience was just okay. Due to the fact that when I got my gel nails the guy kind of cut my nails. And was rude. The second I went thinking that my experience would be better. Then I had the same gentlemen, I also got the gels this time as well. He literally cut my fingers to the point where they were bleeding. After my nails were done I started to cry because my fingers hurt so bad. The lady that was doing my moms pedicure was nice enough to help me with the cuts to stop bleeding. Anyways, after the nails were done, he expected a tip. My nails look horrible, the second time I went. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Went there before our wedding with a big group. The experience was great but my nails were chipping two days after they were done. It was shellac so there was no reason plus I paid extra for the French tips. Normally I would go back and ask for them to fix but I was out of the state by then. Probably will not be returning here.

I got acrylics done about a week ago and the guy who was doing my nails had to remove the few nails that where left on from another set and instead of soaking the nails he just ripped them off at one point he couldn’t get one off and took another fake nail and attempted to take the other nail off and he ended up going underneath both the fake and real nail and ripped my entire nail off. I got the color white and now they look gross the paint is chipping and the paint is turning gray.

My daughter and I have been going to GL nails for several years. Weve had wonderful service and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

I have gone here many times and it totally depends on what experience you are going to get. I used to always get pedicures here and they are amazing and by far my favorite place to get them done but only a little while ago a got shillac done and they looked really good but chipped really fast might have been my own brittle nails though. Sometimes its good and sometimes its lacking but I wouldnt recommend I would prefer to know that I am always getting a good job done for my money.

Went in for a full set of gel acrylics. I wanted them Almond shaped and white. First, the guy didnt even trim my real nails or cuticles like Ive had done before. Then once my nails are on and shaped I point out that some are flat on the tips and not rounded. The guy doesnt even shape them for me again. They are also lumpy and the polish isnt even. I then have a girl fix the Polish for me but it was a big deal and I felt as if I had ticked off every worker. Four days later... One nail chipped in half when I bumped it on a box, and another has already broken completely off! Normally they last 2.5/3 weeks... Not to mention the white is now dingy which makes me think they use a cheap top coat. I will never go back!!!!!

I had a perfect pedicure experience at GL! I had a party of 4 so I made an appointment, and they were ready for us as soon as we arrived. The staff was friendly and everyone had a wonderful experience.

My pedicure was fine , but I got a shellac and not only did she do a super sloppy job but the nail color was sheer like how could you not notice it was sheer and not apply another coat for me? She acted like she didnt even wanna do my manicure and when i did complain thats when she decided to start to be nice .. Whatever never coming back here in my life Ill go across the street to Ty nails way better service

I live in the next city over and come to GL Nails on purpose...the service is excellent, their techs are precise and skilled in their art, they are patient friendly and their work is flawless. I leave satisfied everytime.

I wish I could give them no stars they did such a terrible job with my pedicure and my manicure I honestly could have painted them myself and then they seemed very disappointed when I handed each of them a $5 not even saying thank you or making any eye contact with me. I am telling you to save your money and don’t waste your time here I have never been to a worse facility.

This place lost 5 local customers. I wont be back! Do not agree to services without knowing the full charge. Make sure you are really clear what you want and how much you are paying for services. I walked out paying way more than I should have and agreed to (plus tips before I knew the charge) when all I asked for and politley insisted on was for 2 pedicures and 1 shellac nail polish with manicure. I did not agree to spa manicures and arm chair massage charges. My mother, myself and 2 daughters have been loyal customers for years. I spoke to the owner about the overcharge and he broke down the fees. I should have paid a lot less than the services they tacked on services they did not run by me. They took advantage of a minor, and a laguage barrier. But said next time they will make it clear how much their services cost. There wont be a next time. They certainly saw me coming........and took advantage.

I wish I could rate them less for many reasons. I got a pedicure and shellac done here. A towel that they used on me for my pedicure I saw them grab the same dirty towel and use it for somebody else. The cream that they had burned my legs they gave me a wet towel to wipe it off. But I wanted to rinse it and no one was around to help me. Then I had shellac He growled at the gel off so much to the point that he ground my nail underneath and it was Burning. I told him this and he just continued to do the same thing and use the same tool on all of my nails. Then once he was done I got a French tip none of the paint is straight and there’s bubbles in the paint on my nails. It was so overpriced for cheap quality an awful service. I will never waste my money there again.

Horrible. Do not go!!! I paid 40$ for crap!!!Streaky. Painted bad. My friends are literally slanted upward. Do not recommend. Although they are nice people.

GL Nails is much more efficient and the quality of their services far outweigh many nail salons Ive been too.

Took 4 tries to get them to understand I wanted acrylics, then 3 times to get the shape right, and when all was said and done there were bubbles all through the acrylic. Not worth the $30.

In the past I have had a good experience here, however, this last time it was not good. First they kept trying to “up sell” me to the point where I felt I had to pleed for a basic manicure with no shelac. So that was very off putting. Also they tried to charge me $5 to get my old shelac off (even though I come in here regularly).... but eventually took off the charge to remove shelac.Finally, the person who was doing my daughter’s nails (she is a well behaved 5 year old) was very rude. At first I thought she was just having a bad day. But she really appeared to just not like kids at all and was unnecessarily abbresive. This is a salon I normally think of as being a friendly one for kids.Next time we will do our own polish at home and spend the money on something else or find another salon!

Got us in last minute, did an excellent job, no pushy sales. The staff were efficient and friendly.

First, the lady doing my nails cut my skin and my cuticles, my skin around my nails were bleeding and when shed put oil on it theyd burn. Then, she wouldnt hold my fingers apart so theyd touch each other, she shouldve separated them or set them down but she told me that I need to pay attention. I was left with nail polish all over my cuticles and missing in spots, and without $30! They act the whole time like they hate what theyre doing and they all talk in a different language to each other the whole time. Will never return.

I have been going to GL Salon for over a year and NEVER have had bad service. ALWAYS treated very pleasantly and service has ALWAYS been excellent. Pricing is IDEAL toooo! Would HIGHLY recommend!
