My mom got placed here and had to spend 2 nights there. I fought to get her out as soon as possible. They did not have her medication. They threw her belongings on her bed and left her alone. She had hip surgery and was restricted from moving. She did not have a nurse call button. She was told she needed her own walker before she could use the bathroom. At 9:00 on Sunday evening we had to scramble to get her a Walker there. They forgot her breakfast. She had no remote control and her tv was half covered. Do not send a loved one there please.

Great employer! The longevity of its staff was really attractive to me when looking for a job. Its pretty unheard of to work for an administrator who has been at the same facility for over 30 years. Sanctuary at the Shore feels like home which I believe creates a greater quality of care for the residents. It is no surprise to me that Sanctuary at the Shore is rated a five star facility by Medicare.gov. They are the only ones in the area! Pretty impressive!

Great location, lovely lobby, they are remodeling the rooms. The activities director is so involved & has special ladies lunches for the residents. Good place to be!

I will never recommend this facility to anyone. The care they provided was substandard. We have removed a loved one from here and are sickened they were there to begin with. No one should be that desperate to settle for such poor care. Maybe end of life care, but never rehab. With proper care the patient will thrive not decline. The reason given for their incompetence was being understaffed. I am appalled anyone would give such a reason for not doing their job 100%. They couldnt be removed fast enough!

Great place to work for and people care for residents as if they were their own family member. My grandma stayed here for short term rehab and have seen numerous people rehabilitate and return home. Very happy overall.

For the most part they take very good care of my mom but there are some issues. In the morning after breakfast they leave her in her wheelchair instead of putting her to bed. I asked one of the nurses about this and she said they do that because it makes it easier on them. Excuse me?Leaving these old folks sleeping in their wheelchairs just so they can save time wheeling them back to the dining room for lunch is unacceptable. I spoke to an agent at the home about this and she said she would take care of it but this is definitely something that does not make me happy. This is why I deducted two stars.The focus there should be on the old people not want makes it easier for the workers. Get your focus straight or get another job.

Ive had several relatives stay here for rehabilitation and long-term care, have never had a problem.

Why is it its employees who are rating this place not actual people having to live there !
