This is my favorite store. Always amazing food selections, clean store, fresh produce and the employees are super friendly. Every Saturday I look forward to seeing Paula...she is always bright n cheerful. She has become the reason I always shop on Saturday.

I love this store. I appreciate they will never sell a product that is inferior.

Its geared toward vegans I wanted raw milk raw cheese unpasteurized butter grass fed larger meat selection but you will an array of supplements and vegan food so its not really a store for fresh wholesome animal foods which are essential to human health and I was looking for food I seem to have gone to a vegan store for groceries.

Love this store. Cashiers are always kind and I enjoy having a chat with them. They often have sales and always have a wide variety of veggies and fruits, but not so much that it detracts from the quality. Appreciate that they label where the produce comes from. Store is always nice and clean. The stuff they bring to the dumpster is always neatly packed-- its like they know someones coming!

Its no Trader Joes or Good Earth as it is very small and most of the shop is for meds/healthcare, etc. Not a lot of food options, but granted its Grand Forks, not a bigger city so its decent and what youd expect.

The health food store to visit when in this NW region of MN or NE ND. It has most of everything health wise youd want. I stop here regularly to buy some essentials and to see what is on sale.

I really like the service & products here, however I need to take a couple stars off, since the store grants privileges to baby boomers. They want you to wear a mask (clearly posted on the door, as well as a city mandate), but if youre a baby boomer & complain enough, they wont make you. Ive seen this on a handful of occasions while shopping here. But Ill explain a specific example: I was there around 5pm on 11-15-20, as I entered, there were 4 boomers (none of them wearing masks), standing by the clearance section near the entrance. I did my shopping for about 20 min, & left. When I left they were still there, not buying anything, just loitering. Its a shame, that the store puts their unwarranted pride & entitlement above the safety of the other customers.For reference this state health order went in to effect on 11-13-20:State Health Officer Order 2020-08

Favorite grocery store in forks! they have a ton of low fodmap options for my diet, which is crucial for living in a smaller town. love this place!!

For Grand Forks, ND, this is the closest you are going to come to a Whole Foods, but it has most of the things you may want from an organic grocer. The health, beauty and wellness section is well stocked for its size.

Its unfortunate that Natural Grocers doesnt enforce mask-wearing. Their staff routinely wears their masks under their nose and several times Ive been in and seen unmasked healthy appearing adults not wearing masks. The company line is that they wont force people to wear masks because of underlying conditions. This is code for do whatever you want because people who have underlying conditions arent going into stores unmasked. They are either using curbside or delivery services or have friends do their shopping. Since NG wont offer curbside, their true stance-ignoring science-is clear. Because we are protecting a family member with an underlying condition and we believe in science and know people who have died of Covid and have been debilitated after surviving Covid, we wont support a business thats hiding their disbelief in science and the care for their customers health behind a weak policy.

Good place to get natural groceries and items that you would not normally find at places like Walmart, target, or Hugos.

I was recently visiting from out of state and needed to pick-up some items. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of the store, especially the supplements. I found many items I was familiar with and able to find substitutes for the items I could not. Pricing was comparable to or better than other stores I shop at. The employees were very helpful and they have a shopper rewards program. I will definitely stop in again when in the area.

Being from New England, I was so used to having access to dietary alternatives and a large natural food selection. So thankful this place exists out here!

The wife and I frequent here often. Our go to place for all things organic. Great selection and their prices, for the products being sold, are reasonable. Just remember... bring your own reusable grocery bag! If not be open to taking your product home in a cardboard box or buying a reusable bag there.

This is by far one my most favorite places to shop in town!! You can shop with a complete peace of mind! Not many stores can leave you feeling good about your time spent, but here you feel good in your choices, and the environmentally friendly shopping experience.

Interesting selection of packaged foods, including refrigerated and ready to eat meals. Some of packaged food is unique and excellent. Frozen food is not good. All their pizza is gluten free, which is a disaster. I know that they try to do only organic produce, but the quality of produce is not there, perhaps because of low turnover. Prices are moderate to low.

They have so many options to choose from. I am vegan and before this store opened up in town there wasnt a lot of options to choose from. Always recommending this store to others!

This place has an awsome selection and should get 5 stars for it. Im only giving it 3 becuase everytime ive been in there, they have the rudest people at the cash register. They get mad when you take thing out of the basket to put on the belt. Then they stare at you to pack your own groceries in a box. Im all about customer service. This place gets a big F for this category.

Like the size and potential. I do wish they had a true bulk section like the co-op downtown, which is closing thanks to this store. I prefer to fill my own containers and avoid plastic and waste whenever possible.

Excellent store!! Ive lost 309 pounds by eating very healthy! I live 40 miles away and dont get there as often as i would like.Great produce, very clean and orderly !All the floor employees (stock shelves etc) were all friendy and very hepeful!The cashier working isle # 1 was a different story! She did not great us at all or help us in any way! Didnt know about the boxes and she didnt suggest or offer the free boxes! Trouble with my credit card! She stated that she didnt have time for this today!! My CNA was with and she has a card on the same account. It worked just fine! We shopped many more stores that day and used MY card again! It worked fine. And is still working .That cashier should have brought my rating down to a ** (2 stars out of 5), but i chose to give them 5 stars and write a letter directly to the grand forks, nd store. My visit was 8-2-18 @ 3pm .She made a wonderful day tarnished! The company and that store are 5 STARS! I will be back!
