Great place to take your pup for daycare, grooming or to board. I use them when I travel to see my parents in NC.

UPDATE: The owner called and we went over everything that was in the review. He apologized for the banged up nose and we are assuming it had to do with the fireworks that were constant for a few nights. He offered to give them fresh baths at no charge and to let us tour the place. He set or mind at ease and said that they in no way would give a pet any medications unless otherwise prescribed and never without the owners knowledge. Hes a very nice guy and seems to have a lot of care for the animals. We will try them again if we have a short overnight trip sometime.We were excited to take our dogs there because of the reviews we found on Facebook. We were a little leery after we dropped them off because of handling their intake. We tried to relax because we were going on our honeymoon. I was told wed get daily pictures of them texted to me. 3 days after hearing nothing I called and was told there doing great and theyd send pics. Another day goes by and finally a photo. The communication was not great at all. We have a golden retriever who loves all people and a boxer/Boston terrier mix whos very timid but vocal about new people. We said they could board in same kennel for companionship. When we went to pick them up they both looked exhausted and werent their happy selves to see us. They lumbered out to the car and seemed to be depressed for about 36 hours afterwards. We found dried blood around the boxers nose and I called them about that find. She said they didnt notice blood but he kept head banging the chain link fence to get out. We WERE NOT aware of that. Plus they were supposed to give them baths including ear cleaning and nail trim. Their ears were disgusting, even worse than when we took them. I have never had a dog come from daycare that I couldnt keep off me because they were so excited to see me. My husbands convinced there mightve been some melatonin or something similar given without our permission. We will be looking around for a new day care when one is needed again.

Looooove this place! Bring my Beagle here everytime we go away on vacation! Definitely a friendly and professional establishment for your dogs! Highly recommend it!

I dont normally like to leave negative reviews, usually I just dont leave one if its not the best experience. My husband and I dropped out 3 dogs off before we left for a family vacation, paid in full. This facility looked decent so we tried it, our pets are like our children and are very much loved by our children and ourselves. When we picked them up we were disappointed in the condition we found our pups. Theyre inside dogs and stay cleaned and groomed. They smelled of urine and my 6 year old Boxer returned with a bad bladder infection which she never had before and the dogs were shedding pretty bad and looking for water. The lady who dismissed the dogs to us was not very kind and she let the dogs out without their leashes on for them to run. She also tried to charge us with an extra fee because they were not picked up at 12, we were not informed of this either. It was not a great experience for us, we did not pick our pups up in the condition we left them in.

UCC is top notch. Their customer service is exceptional and they go above and beyond. Twice in the last 2 years I was in a bind having to deal with 2 separate family emergencies. Despite covid and all, they made sure my pups and I were well taken care of. It truly made my familys difficult time so much less stressful.

My boys go to Ultimate Canine for doggie daycare 2 times a week! We have been going for a few months. I have to travel for work on occasion and they have spend 1 trip there (5 days). They came home happy healthy and clean! They love doggie daycare too!!! Weoved to NC a little over a year ago and it was a very hard move for them. This place has been a blessing to find! They work with boy of my boys and their behavior issues. Me and the dogs are now able to be a family again!!! I can not thank everyone at Ultimate Canine enough when you have my fur babies!!! Taken my big dog their several times

I took my corgi there for the first time because they were highly recommended through fb and we were going to the beach for a week. Well I did not pick my corgi up the way I dropped him off and there was zero communication that that would be the case. He was returned to me with LARGE clumps of poo on his bottom that had to be cut off and poo on other places on his body, his nails were splitting on several toes, and he is noticeably skinnier. I had to give him a bath immediately when we got home and clip his nails because of the state he was in. If my dog was distressed, not eating, or had an upset stomach I should have been notified and there was radio silence. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I have recommended these guys to several of our guests (we have cabins on farm just up the road). I have had great experiences with them and just heard super high praises from one of our guests. Very clean, clear pricing, friendly, professional, great grooming service.

Hands down one of the best values for pet boarding and grooming. The facilities are well kept and the staff here is amazing. They have both indoor and outdoor areas for playtime and there are options for individual dog walks as well. There have been two occasions where we called right before a busy holiday and they were still able to accommodate us. Prices are charged based on the weight of your dog and they offer discounts for multiple animals. Well worth the short drive from Burlington.

Very unsatisfied with this place. When i picked up my dog from here he smelled very bad, and was very skittish like he was treated poorly. Got him home and after giving him a bath he randomly was tucking his tail between his legs and went to corrner and urinated. So when i call and left messages noone will get back to me. Idk about them but we love our dog. Beware.

Doggos seemed happy when leaving and not going crazy to leave. They also did a great job with the fur cut one pup got. The other pup couldve used a bath before leaving and I didnt know just that was an offer or recommendation until after I left.

Took our dog there for the first time over thanksgiving (what has to be one of the busiest times) and they took great care of her. Being able to have her own space that she could go inside and outside was great and probably even better than home (where she has to wait for someone to open the door). They played with her twice a day, bathed her, and did a great job on her nails! They did such a great job we will probably have her regular groomed her. The times for pickup on weekends and drop offs on weekdays worked well with working and traveling. At least when we called it was easy to get a reservation even when other boarders were all full.

They seem nice but add on charges when you pick your dog up that they dont tell you about when you drop off.

I have been taking my dogs to Ultimate Canine for 6 years. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and the rates are more than competitive for this area. I love my dogs and would only take them to a facility that I felt would treat them as well as I do. I would not take them anywhere else unless Ultimate Canine was not available.

All I need to do is grab the dog food and her blanket, and my dog runs to the car and knows where she is going. The staff are great and treat my dog wonderfully. She loves to go and I feel safe with her there.

We recently had our two 75 pound dogs stay here for 8 days. Both my dogs came back from here with kennel cough. Also, one dog had two large wear spots on her chest and stomach. We will not be taking our dogs here again.

I have been taking my dog up to Ultimate Canine Care for probably over 3 years until this past weekend. The staff previously was always super friendly and nice. Recently something has changed. The past two visits were the last two times I will spend my money with this company. They are rude and do not seem to find their customers important. Im not sure if the owner has made policy changes or if its just staff turnover but I will no longer be going to Ultimate Canine Care for my pet needs. When Im a paying customer I dont appreciate dealing with rudeness whether coming directly from the owner or employees.There is too much competition out there to treat customers rude!!!
