Dr. Charous is as good as it gets with doctors. He’s highly competent and very skilled at what he does. He was and is a contributor to saving my life. Highly recommended.

I just left this center & had to immediately write a review! This office is awesome. Staff at the front were very kind and welcoming, and seemed to enjoy their work. Dr. Sanchez was attentive and caring, as were all the nurses. They ran a hearing test to double check the Dr’s findings right there in the office and ensured my questions were answered. Stellar care & would highly recommend!

The medical service, medical personnel and procedures were outstanding! However, I am giving 3 stars due to the inaccurate billing process. I was told prior to my procedure that I would have a small co-pay which was fine. 30 days after the procedure I received a bill for thousands of dollars. After speaking with their team, I was basically told that my insurance rep provided them with the wrong information. I definitely understand that happens but the sentiment around the issue was very aloof and I received a you should know your insurance attitude. A simple Im sorry this happened would have gone a long way. Patients rely on the expertise of providers to help us navigate the crazy world of insurance. This one missed the mark.

I was a new patient and was having some ear issues. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They were prompt when getting me to be seen by the doctor. When seen in the back they took great care to understand my situation and were able to get me back on the road to recovery!

My first visit. The office is very nice and quiet. The staff is courteous and professional. Also, I was able to get in much sooner than many other ENT offices I called, and was not put on hold forever while I waited.

The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had an appointment and when I arrived, the office had no record of my appointment, but they worked me in so I would not have to come back. Let it be known that it was not the office staff that dropped the ball , it was the scheduler that I made the appointment with.As far as medical staff, I cannot say how great and accommodating they were. The nurse and Mercedes are the best.

My experience was very pleasant, they made sure I fully understood the procedure and they took care of me through the whole process. I didn’t feel a thing during or after my sinus surgery. The staff is great and I’m overall pleased with how they took care of me.

This is the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered in my life. After stressing how important it is to make it to your appointment ON TIME I wasn’t see for 50 minutes after my 9:40am appointment, then waited another 10-20 minutes in the back. Then they kept sending individuals in to ask me about things that I wasn’t there for. After sending in 3 different people to ask me questions I ended up having to tell them I’m here to see the doctor not the PA. They repeatedly asked about things I wasn’t there for and kept examining my throat and ears. I felt they wanted to find something else to bill for rather than addressing my issue. Don’t waste almost 2 hours here. When the doctor (Dr. Charous) FINALLY came in he checked my throat which again I wasn’t there for and then asked how I heard about them. I have NEVER been asked that before. I ended up having to walk out very upset in tears. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I went to AZ Desert ENT for suspected hearing 🦻loss. Im a bit young for this to be happening and was concerted. Ryan was my PA and his approach to health care was kind and thorough. The hearing loss was apparent and to he took steps to identify the cause including a scan of my head. People Crack jokes about having their head checked out 🤣 and in this case, it was necessary!Sincerity and bedside manner are strong suits for Ryan. I may need a hearing aid at some point 👉but for now I know I got the best care possible.

Save your money!! This place is a rip off. Poor customer service. Doctor saw me for two minutes only two refer me to another doctor. Then slap me with a $300 bill for absolutely nothing.

I was able to get right in the very next day. Staff was All very kind and concerned about my condition. Very comforting since Ive been having the same symptoms for over a month. My appointment was with the PA and couldnt had asked for anyone to be more thorough. Thank you Arizona Desert ENT, I will most definitely recommend you to anyone I know!

My first visit was met with insurance coverage questions! My provider said I was covered but the office wasnt so sure! The billing manager came in to the room I was waiting in to offer assurance that they will work with me should there be any issues. That being said, my procedure was quite uncomfortable but the customer service was outstanding! I met a PA, the MD, and a student, along with other assistants that were amazing! One allowed me to squeeze her hand during my ordeal!!! All that gives them a 5 star rating! Im still having issues and will return in 1 week. I was told they may have to have another go at this and even though im disappointed, they were honest with what I should expect.

I went in for my ears today and was treated for it. The PA in the office also asked if he could take a look in my sinuses. Good thing he did turns out I had a small sinus infection that is also causing my hearing to be muffled. Overall my experience was excellent thanks to Ryan Chang PA-C. I would really recommend him as he is nice gentle and very thorough. Also shout out to his Medical assistants Israel and Fernanda. They made sure everything was explained to me before doing it and they made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this office!

Worse experiences. Ever time we have come here has been a problem. From the receptionist to the dr everyone here is inconsiderate. We are not patients we are a check and it shows in how they have treated us. I thought we had to continue coming here because of a surgery that was preformed. However, we are going to another ENT for any other issue we continue to have with my child. I would definitely not recommend.

I visited Arizona Desert ear, nose & throat and was seen by Dr. Daniel Charous. Unfortunately, this visit was very unpleasant. I made my appointment because I am having breathing issues after a rhinoplasty performed by another doctor and I came to Dr. Charous with high expectations. I came to him for a diagnosis as my previous surgeon was unable to help me so I came to a high qualified medical professional or so I thought he was. I had a CT scan performed and was physically observed by Dr. Charous. I was told by him that I was able to login to a patient portal to see a summary of my visit and he verbally provided two options on how I could go about resolving my breathing issues. I was lied to there is no patient portal. Once I asked him for some type of documentation about his “treatment options” he got very defensive almost like he was scared, he looked at me with so much hatred. Cardinal rule of healthcare: if you didn’t document it, it didn’t happen. As a patient under the HIPPA law that is my right. Dr. Charous you have violated my right!!! I know I didn’t schedule my appointment to play pretend doctor at your office. With doctors nowadays it is crucial that you ask for some type of written information to make a well informed decision before they play you like a fool and take your money!!! Now as my right under the HIPPA law I am requesting my summary visit and CT scan mailed to me.

The check in was fast and felt safe with the way they handle Covid. Wait time was very minimal. Saw Dr. Chang & Dr. Charous, both were very thorough and answered all my questions. Very easy to talk to.

My daughter had her surgery today and the staff at the office was amazing! I called and spoke to Ruben because of issues with the pharmacy and he made sure it was taken care of, They Went out of their way to help me so I can focus on caring for my daughter. Front desk were very helpful and polite and professional, I saw Dr Chauras PA, and he was very helpful as well and working very well in establishing a plan to help me breathe better, I was going for a final Consultation process for Inspire unfortunately my ACHHHS Insurance is not covering the procedure, and my Dr doesn’t think it’s 100% what I need so we discussed options! For witch I am thankful! The medical and caring approach was prioritized ! The office is 45 min away from my house but it’s worth the drive. The Dr’s PA took the time to answer my questions and explained to me the next steps. Thank you.

Dr. Charous is awesome. I had work done on my sinuses a couple of years ago and he was thorough and all went amazing. Took my son for a routine ear cleaning and was seen by a PA after waiting almost an hour and a half past appointment time. Communicatuin would have gone a long way, prepping us for the length of the wait. We had an appointment scheduled for two hours after the scheduled visit that we barely made.

I am here now. I first get welcomed by a huge packet I have to fill out as a first time patient. Having to repeat the same information on over 8 pages.I arrive 15 minutes early. I am now 45 minutes past my appointment time. They also decided to charge me before I was even seen.The nurse and doctor were nice. I think they mainly need to work on there scheduling.

I brought my daughter to see Dr Charous from a referral by another physician. He was very knowledgeable, but had a great personality as well. The office staff was friendly and I am more than happy to refer them to friends and family.

Doctor was wonderful and so was his P.A. and Nurse.Belinda in billing is absolutely horrible and thats putting it nicely. She has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When she doesnt get what she wants she acts very immature. She even goes out of her way to tell patients she doesnt have to give them a discount. She has no class at all. These are patients who are there for help and because they dont do things her way she treats them rudely.I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE UNLESS THEY FIRE HER FIRST.

Dr. Charous performed by parotidectomy to remove a benign tumor. During the appointments leading up to the surgery, Dr. Charous and his PA Ryan Chang were very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable about the surgery even though there was a risk of facial paralysis. Thanks to Dr. Charous, my surgery was a success and I had no side effects or complications! Im glad I trusted Dr. Charous with my surgery and I cant recommend him enough.

Dr Charous is an outstanding ENT specialist and is surrounded by a very competent and friendly staff at every position. I have been suffering from Sleep Apnea since 2001 and was referred to him because my Sleep Apnea has been out of control for over 9 months. He examined me and documented that I met the 5 steps necessary for qualifying for the Inspire implant. He performed the surgery on Monday and I went home after a short stay in post op. My surgery couldnt have gone better and the recovery is going extremely well. Because of his surgical experience and knowledge, my pain has been very mild, I only took over the counter Tylenol twice after returning home and the operation requires 3 separate incisions (neck, chest and lung)! His knowledge and expertise as a surgeon is remarkable. I have seen several other ENT specialists over the past 18 years but now Ive found the one Im staying with. Ive been telling my family and friends about his practice and highly recommend AZ Desert ENT to anyone with an ear, nose or throat issue. Thank you Doctor Charous and your entire staff. You are amazing!

Staff was great from start to finish.

Showed up 20 mins prior to appointment and waited 40 mins after my appointment for them to tell me that they were charging me over $100.00 as a copay even though my insurance doesnt require that. Spoke to the office manager who I felt just brushed me off. Walked out without seeing anyone and missing 2 hours of work.

My appointment was at 8:50 I waited 30 minutes in the waiting room and over 40 minutes in the back. If you can’t see me until 9:50 then don’t make my appointment at 8:50.
