After being at two previous urgent cares and not being able to be seen, I saw that this one said, “No appointment necessary” My wife walked in to be seen and they turned her away because there were no available appointments. 🤔***Replying to Response from the owner....Unfortunately we were not in a position that allowed us to schedule a time. That being said I would recommend to you that you change the sign on your door that states, No Appointment Necessary. See photo below.

Went this morning for sore throat. The receptionists, Carrie Bell & Christina Smith were very friendly and professional. The nurse that came in to do vitals and triage, Chantel White, was super friendly and personable. The provider I saw, Hannah Williams, was fast and very thorough. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my visit. Highly recommend this location

It’s great to still have people that take care of customers and patients cuz it’s hard dealing with so many different people attitudes. Actually the whole staff that day was great 9/9/2021.

Staff is very professional. PA Larry Witt made me feel comfortable and showed great amount concern to why I was there. Was seen promptly for scheduled appointment time. Normally go to different Urgent Care but love how easy was set up appointment and having approximate time to be seen, instead having long wait time to be seen.

Only using the review section to try and get in touch with you. Ive waited for about a week or more for covid results for my daughter. Her father and I were both positive and they are now out of quarantine, so is she, based off of what I can only assume is a presumptive positive. She needs to start school here soon now that she is no longer needing to be quarantined, and I need the positive test results please. Ive tried contacting you for the past few days and I cant get a hold of anyone Ive left messages as well somebody please help me.

The office is very clean and comfortable. The personnel, from the front desk,nurses,and provider, are friendly, courteous, caring professionals.I had fallen and in a lot of pain.. She knew exactly what do do. I am happy with the service I received.

Both times I’ve come in for Covid testing the apt was quick, and I received my results within 10 minutes. The ladies at the front desk as well as the ladies in the back were so kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend this location to everyone!

I was seen on Sunday, June 20, 2021.My experience there was exceptional. The nurse I had was very friendly and took her time with me. They did several tests which was much appreciated. The NP I had took her time with my exam and after going over my tests she explained to me what was going on and what she was going to do regarding my treatment. She made me feel that she was concerned about my care.

Everyone was very helpful to renew my DOT Medical Card. Chelsea was great and thanks for your assistance! Tricia was just as great and has a great bedside manner! Thanks so much for everything! And I would highly recommend to this location!!!Thanks so much!!!

Super professional, prompt, and polite! The entire staff from the front desk, to the nurses , to the PAs are all super friendly, nice, knowledgeable, and respectful. The wait time is always reasonable. I’ll be back!

Leave you waiting even with an appointment, have plenty of time. Lost my job because they refused to sign my work release forms, stating We dont do that. They just cant be bothered to fill out a sheet of paper. Thats probably why you have to pay forst.

Very Nice Staff and Doctors.The Doctor that Helped me out came in from a different facility, because I had been waiting over 3 hours. She took her time and made sure that I was taking care of. She even took the time to point out some of the things on my X-ray, and this was definitely Above and Beyond what was Required or Expected, and it was very much Appreciated. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because of the wait, but I think that it was due to the fact that I was seen on a Friday of a 3 day weekend and I got to the Facility around 9:30 am. I would give a Solid 4.9 out of 5.0 stars.

For one it opened late and the woman at the front desk was slightly rude when I asked why. Secondly the equipment is in poor shape. From an infection prevention stand point I know that the examination table is in such bad shape it can’t even be cleaned properly after each use. I wonder what a culture of that table would reveal. The nurse practitioner was nice though, late but nice.

Why did I schedule an appointment if you’re going to have me wait over an hour?

My husband and I have been trying to contact this location by phone for the last week. Everytime we call, we get a voicemail and we have left several messages that has not been acknowledged. This is for a follow up on his DOT exam,so it is very important that we hear back.

Be prepared for a long wait even with an appointment for a COVID test. We chose this because of the appt option expecting a shorter line and were glad to pay a co-pay - unfortunately we spent around 2 hours here. Not worth the cost in my opinion nor the wait.

With appointment, waited over 2 hours. Did not end up getting my children check. Waste of time and efforts

I had a great experience, my physician assistant was great. She was very nice and thorough. And answered all my questions and concerns..

My son and I just moved into town, and he needed a physical done for sports. I called FastMed and they were extremely nice and professional getting him an appointment asap. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming. My son was very nervous, being he’s 13 and this was his second physical done. They made him feel very comfortable. The PA he had seen, I believe her name was Hannah was extremely nice and personable. I would absolutely recommend FastMed to friends. Thank you guys for treating us with respect.

This place is the best!. Nurse practioner that was on duty actually took time to take great care. Wont be using the emergency room again.

Appt was 11:30 am and it was 3-4 hours later before I was seen and I had to go back to work. i went there several time for my DOT Physical and this time was the worst...the staff they all are nice and professional..but I didnt like how I had an 11:30 appointment and all that came in behind me they all was ahead of me...and I had an appointment becauseI was due back at work....I pray and hope that you & your business will get it together...and do something different forpeople as they continue to flock into this business....God bless you!

Very professional & nice staff from beginning to end. I really liked the male nurse & female PA that cared for my granddaughter. Got in & out in a reasonable time.

Been here twice and amazing experience both times. This last time was the best. I saw Bliss the nurse practitioner and she was amazing. I had gone to immediate care prior for treatment of a sinus infection. That physician didn’t even evaluate me or address the fact I couldn’t sleep due to coughing. Bliss did a complete assessment prescribed me medication as well as a cough medication that I could take without the drowsiness. Last night was the first night I have been able to actually sleep. I’ve been beyond happy with the care I’ve received both times I’ve been there and I have never been there more more than 1 hour from check in to check out.

Arrived for my appointment on time and still had to wait a whole extra hour to he seen. Made a 30 minute visit a 2 hour and 45 minute one.

Im giving a 5 cause the Dr. Was so great taking time explained Im really giving her the 5 stars waiting was horrible I made appt. On line got there early so Im not counting that time but the time started after appt. Time waited to get into dr. 30 minutes and then almost 35 minutes in exam room.So getting there earlier doesnt matterPlace was clean the People were nice to.

After my accident I tried to call, it took four days and many calls for the phone to be answered. The company name should be renamed SlowMed/Take their Time Care. When I finally got the appointment and walked in the door, I received the most unprofessional, unfriendly, and I could care less treatment from all the front desk personnel and medical assistance. I appreciated the care with compassion and kindness from PA John and Trish.

Had been here a few times over the past 3 years, never had a bad experience until my last visit. It was a different doctor than Id seen before, an older white lady, and she raised her voice loudly at me when I didnt process and react to a direction fast enough; she didnt read my chart prepared by the MA and clearly demonstrated her ignorance during the visit; and then, the icing on the cake, she misdiagnosed me with something that I KNEW it wasnt and gave me medication that didnt work. I called to give feedback as I was concerned if that doc treated other patients that way. I called FastMed and left a message, and while I did get a call back saying something to the effect of, Thats not our standard of care and that someone from the customer care department at FastMed would call me back, no one ever did. Telling me that theyre in it for the money and not the patient care. Ended up going to Immediate Care on Wayne Memorial Drive today, two weeks later after the symptoms got worse with a vengeance, and I was finally correctly diagnosed, and the doctor was really nice and listened to me. Will NEVER go back to FastMed and wouldnt recommend it to anybody as long as that doctor is there. And no, I dont want to email them about my experience; I ALREADY contacted them and was told that someone would call me back, and no one ever did. It should not be on the patient to reach out AGAIN about a traumatic experience endured, so Im just gonna leave this here as a cautionary tale for other prospective patients.

In these covid times, getting a hold of my PCM is hard. I went to FastMed and Ms. Jessica, the person that took care of me, was extremely patient, knowledgeable and expressed her concerns with me. I truly appreciated the personal touch I received!

I was impressed with Fastmed as a patient so I applied there in Jan 2021 and was hired. I was told we get 2 FREE visits a month. Wow! I was seen as a patient in March, then received a bill. When calling about it, I was told the charges were for tests i had done. First of all I knew I had bronchitis and said this. I get it twice a year. But you wanted to give me tests for other things...ok. Secondly I was not told I would be billed for said charges. I am a military retired veteran and use the VA for all my care, then get 2 urgent care visits a year. Why would I not use my VA card if I knew I was going to be billed? Ive talked to 6 people in 3 months, emailed the Vice President of Operations for NC and nothing. Now I get a call saying Im being turned over to a collection agency.I quit this place in April because it was the most unsanitized, unprofessional, unorganized place I have ever been in.The PAs think they are God. The MAs think they run the front office. Leadership does nothing to fix the issues. The last straw was when I checked a patient in at 230pm knowing we closed at 4pm. The MA, Kayla, who was a whiny little girl started screaming at me because she wanted to get off on time.Fastmed should not advertise appointments when they have no system. Patients are constantly skipped over in the 3 clinics I worked in making longer wait times.I loved taking care of my patients, making them feel welcome and cared for, wishing them well as they left. I did an excellent job but the young PAs and MAs made it miserable. Never in my life was I screamed at by a coworker. She obviously has no customer service skills because all the patients heard her. This place is a joke! Instead of handling business, the other MA, Bree, wanted to call her cop husband in to take care of unruly patients.They all cuss like sailors with their disgusting mouths and the Area Manager wouldnt handle it.Yall need to join the military, but then again you would never last!Sad, pitiful, pathetic place that I will never give another dime to!

Its unfortunate that google dont offer a 0 star rating. I went to this place about a 13 days ago for some dot physical, they had my name spelled wrong on the card. Now that I am 800 miles away, my employers compliance officer asked them to fax the corrected version that I could sign, not only did they refuse to fax it but want me to travel back 800 miles to NC just to sign it. Basically they wasted my time and my company money just have it start all over again at another clinic on something they caused deliberately because they had my ID on hand with the correct spelling of my name. Please if you visit this place dont rate them on their mini iPad at the checkout. They are arrogant and could care less about patient services

Appointment at 1:30. Here it is almost 2 hours later just for my wife and I to get a call to continue waiting. Hardly anyone else coming or going. Recommend going somewhere else.

The staff needs more help, they are all extremely kind and make the environment as fun as possible. I feel like if they had more help it would cut down on wait time and receive some stress on them. Overall pretty happy.

Absolutely Hate the check in procedure with the Ipads that everyone handles. Check in staff was Very SLOW and could be more friendly. Medical staff were kind and efficient.

The wait is horrible, it’s been over 2.5 hours and still waiting to be seen by the doctor. My daughter came because she fell and her ankle is visibly swollen, no wheelchair was provided and the “nurse” said hop on the scale, and then when we get to the examination room she tells my daughter to hop on the table…AND YES we are still waiting to see the doctor…. Needless to say this will be my last time at this place…. Urgent care my butt, I’ll take my chances at the ED next time.

I was seen quickly and given medication for the issue that I had. I was very pleased with the professional staff and doctor that treated me. I was in and out and had picked up my prescription in less than a hour and a half. I would recommend FastMed to anyone who needs medical attention fast.

Went to this place with my wife. She had a knee injury at 435 for a 445 appointment. Didnt get seen until 515. The doctor gave a xray, the person taking the picture had my wife in an uncomfortable position so the doctor came in an diagnosed it as a dislocated knee. Had to console my wife with the dilemma of having to go to the hospital to get it moved back in place. Went to the hospital, the doctor told us it wasnt dislocated at all. A total waste of time, an unnecessary hospital bill and money. I wish I could get a refund honestly.

I’ve always been super nervous going into the doctors office, but the people at FastMed made sure I felt safe! After getting a bad cat bite at work I had to visit with Nik, PA who really listened to me about my concerns and walked through the couple of different treatment options I had. All in all the entire staff just made it super easy.

Online checking was accessible and very easy, the staff were very professional and kind I definitely will recommend friends and family to Fasmed!!!!

The wait time here is ridiculous not just today every single time I come here it doesn’t matter if you make an appointment or not you still sit in the waiting area for a hour if not more waiting to be taken to the back definitely a last resort for myself like today unfortunately I’ve already been waiting 45 minutes as it is now ain’t no telling how much longer I’ll be sitting here

Good experience good treatment! Only complaint is the inability to make a quick appointment I probably had to call him five times before I got somebody to answer the phone and I had a hard time registering or setting up an appointment online. Thank you

Everyone from front desk to the PA were so nice and on top of things. I had bronchitis,but was also tested for covid19 and the flu,just in case. Secretary even gave me a bottle of water because I was constantly coughing. Thanks for the great care!

Ladies at the front desk were very nice, checked me in and explained it would be a little wait do to not having an appointment. Once I got to the exam room a nurse came right in took my vital signs and asked what was bothering me. She was also very nice. The doctor came in very shortly after and quickly diagnosed what my issue was (he even went to look up a few things just to make sure). Once he came back he gave me some literature on my issue and recommended me to follow up with my primary doctor. They were all very professional and i would definitely go again if I needed to.

Awesome place. Even though I had to wait a week because once was a 5 hour wait and once they werent open due to in climate weather I still had to wait outside in line to get in and was suppose to be a 3 hour wait due to walk in they saw me be for that and I was in and out within 2 hours and had meds in hand. My first visit ever was December 31, 2020. Little did I know they made appointments at this urgent care facility. Fortunately for me, they also allowed walkins. It did take about four hours to be seen but that’s OK with me given the holiday and no appointment. The staff was very courteous and my need was taken care of.

Very disappointed. I understand that we are dealing with a pandemic. There is a sign on there door that says walk ins welcome. I go to check in and the lady at front desk asked me if I had an appointment I stated no. She then told me there would be a 5 to 6 hour wait for walk ins. There was literally one patient in the waiting room at the time. I have been to fast med several times and never had this issue. Hence the name FAST med. I really believe the front desk lady didnt want to do her job today.

Glad I was able to schedule my appointment. Staff was polite from the front desk to the p.a. I saw. I was in and out of there in an hour.

The only reason I’m giving this place such a “high” review is for two reasons. One. I have been here before with my 3 year old and it was fine. But this time I went for myself. And the best thing about this visit was the front desk lady Janet. I asked that they send my prescription to the pharmacy on base and it never arrived at that pharmacy I went multiple times and they said it was never sent. I called fast med every time and they said they would do it ASAP. When that pharmacy closed I called again and asked it be sent to the Walgreens and it was never sent again!!! I called fast med this morning and asked again that they send it. I called around 9:30 am then the Pharmacy around 11:00 and they said they still don’t have it. Janet called me and asked if I had gotten it. I called and checked again and they said they had just gotten it. At this point it has taken them about 24 hours to get a prescription sent over.I am really grateful that Janet was so caring and kind and checked on things every time I called. I just wish the Pa or whoever was a little more organized to not make me wait an entire day for a prescription

The receptionist and the doctor were so empathetic and attentive to my issue. I felt so relieved and like new after the doctor helped me. I moved recently to Goldsboro. But it’s so good to know that I have such high quality medical services nearby. Thank you so much!!

Very dirty in the actual rooms. The front office is clean. The exam table itself and the other chair in the room was wiped down before we entered. There was blood on the floor and the room was just very dirty. Also the furniture was taped together in several areas. Nurse was nice but she didn’t take blood pressure correctly (she did over a hoodie and my sons BP showed 142/63. When I asked she said it was probably just because it was over his jacket. Swabbed for strep and then just walked out with the qtip exposed and nothing labeled or covered. Provided the incorrect information loudly in the hallway regarding covid history with our family (we had it in December and they were all chattering about how we were in there with having it 2-3 weeks prior. The doctor was nice though, so there’s that.

This has not been the best experience. For this to be an Urgent Med facility, the wait time (with an apt ) is the worst. My appointment time was 9:40a.m. it is now 11:30 and Ive not been seen. It is sad that the selling point is to make an appointment so you dont have a long time...but I ended up waiting longer than I would have without the appointment. And to only have 1 provider on duty is not good business practice. This has been an extremely frustrating experience.

Doctor Greenwell is very nice. She seems to really care for patient. She takes the time to explain everything and even gives you a print out of diagnosis and care plan and follow up instructions. If she had an office, she would definitively be my choice for primary physician.

There was only one known provider working and she was handling a madhouse like she owned the place and still had time to make sure sick kids left with lollipops. I was impressed!

The staff that assisted me throughout my stay were extremely helpful. When they realized that my condition was beyond their capacity to treat they highly recommended that I went to the ER. That recommendation saved my life. I ended up having a highly inflamed appendix that required emergency surgery for it. The staff was courteous, professional, and adhered to advanced cleanliness protocols. TRICARE friendly.

My daughter & I visited FastMed Urgent Care recently. There was nothing fast about our visit. However, the ladies at the front desk, nurse in the back, & dr were all super nice & friendly! I understand that they were backed up & busy with Covid testing that day which was probably the reason for our 3 hr visit. Honestly I was getting very impatient waiting but after getting called to the back, everything from there was quick & smooth. I could also tell that the staff were all doing their best to get folks in & out of there as quickly as possible. Seeing as how they were slammed during a Covid pandemic, I think they did a great job!

First time going and my experience was the absolute best the ladies are very professional and treated me with the upmost respect. Great job everyone and the doctor was also very knowledgeable and caring

The service was great all but the receptionist. Even of she couldnt find my information in the system, she didnt have to be rude. Im an receptionist myself, and deal with all types of clients, young and old. That is no way to talk to people, even if she didnt normally work that office.

They do not do proper cleaning between patients or separate people doing Covid testing from other patients. They have a rude snobbish attitude and one worker specifically, Mary who goes by “Mary Sue” can be VERY rude. They talk about patients in the front lobby in front of other patients and will make you wait til closing to be seen even after paying and having a specific check in time. Came over an hour early to my checkin time and walk-in patients were still seen prior to me being seen. Wouldn’t issue refund even though they haven’t seen you and wouldn’t provide documentation stating that they didn’t see you. Only advised to contact billing which would have no knowledge if they don’t have documentation.

PA (Brenda) and medical assistant (Christopher) were great as well as receptionist (Deborah)! Great people and great care!Just cannot say the same about Walgreens...they are sad and have awful customer service. I think they forgot theyre in an industry working with sick and hurting individuals. Im not sure they care!

My experience was met with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone displayed what a true professional atmosphere should be. All my questions were answered and willingness to assist me where needed was greatly appreciate.

Setup appt for 4 pm a day before. Texted next day at 3pm that an hour and 15 mins behind by fastmed. Show up at 5 pm. Did not get seen until after 715pm. Should be called notsofastmed.

FastMed has been my Go-To place for Urgent Care for several years now. I always schedule an “appointment” on-line and I’m seen within 10-15 minutes. Everyone there is friendly and they never make you feel like you’re a burden to their busy day. I’d never go anywhere else!

Front desk receptionist was rude but once I got to the back (an hour after my appointment time), the staff in the back were extremely friendly and helpful. PA was awesome!!

I think Fastmed Urgent Care is pretty good. I went there the first time when I got into a car accident back in 2018. I also went there the second time last Sunday to get tested for COVID-19 and I was freakin’ out because I thought I was goin’ to test positive but I didn’t because I tested negative. Hopefully, I won’t have to go back to Fastmed Urgent Care if I get sick or injured.

The prices for not having insurance is not bad at all.. I was able to afford my visit. And to top it off they were friendly and try to get the visit done quick

Worst experience ever. This is the slowest Urgent Care. The parking lot only had five cars, and we went in...the lady at the desk said about 2 hour wait time... but the desk are rude, slow and uncooperative. The providers or nurse practitioners or whatever they are very unprofessional. They dont even look at you. Do not waste your time or money coming here. Go to the one on Wayne Memorial Drive instead.

Compared to the other options in Goldsboro for immediate medical care, this ones the go to! Amazing customer service, everyone is so kind. The doctor who tended to my son was awesome, she did better than his actual pediatricians! The nurse also did an awesome job. My son seemed pretty comfortable with the staff and left with three lollipops both from the doctor and the receptionists which I thought was a nice touch! The receptionists were super friendly. I was also able to make an appointment so that I didn’t have to wait around for 3 hours which was super helpful. I also liked that they had a large waiting area. I’m only docking a star because the place could be a little cleaner. It wasn’t dirty, but there were certain areas that looked like they needed more attention like the floor boards and behind the bed. Overall though I would definitely recommend.

I have to give it to FastMed Urgent Care. I have been in and out of a lot of hospitals and I have never had great care and treatment that FastMed Urgent Care have given me. I am a highly decorated veteran and I don’t even get 1/3 of the treatment and care that FastMed Urgent Care given me at the VA hospital. Keep up the great work!!!!!

My apt time was 130pm today....itss is after 3pm havent been seen....then told an apt time isnt really an apt. That it doesnt mean you well be seen at that time....it just puts you in line. Um that isnt an apt

Went for a covid19 test (walk-in) filled out all the paperwork and waited and waited. 1hour later I asked how dose the walk in work. All the appointments first then well work you in. Wish she would have said that up front. I felt I it was plenty of times they could have worked me in. Oh well...other than that I guess they ok if you have an appointment.

I went to FastMed today (one of many times I’ve been) and they couldn’t have been better. The woman at the desk was very sweet and helpful. The PA I saw was patient with all of the questions I asked and put me at ease. My husband and I both absolutely love that we have clinic with such wonderful people to help us when we aren’t at our best. 10/10

My son has asthma and cold/viral infections give him the croup cough. He always has to go on steroids. I have taken him here a few times when I didn’t want to drive to his pediatrician. They always see him quickly and prescribe the same meds his doctor does. They are also very friendly and knowledgeable doctors. Better than a trip to the emergency room. I recommend this place. I’ve also been seen here before and had a pleasant experience.
