My company (Dukes Landscape Design) did a small project at Franny Mazone (the owners) place of business 6 years ago. She has had major drainage issues since before she was a client. She wanted us to remove old plant material and replace with new. Now it is 6 years after the project was completed and she wants a drainage plan installed for free because she has water getting inside her crawl space. If there were any drainage issues due to faulty install on our part, red flags would have been evident within 1 year.There was never a warranty on drainage because any drainage plans we proposed with a warranty were turned down because of cost. (We have documentation to proove so). So with out any warranties in hand and it being 6 years later, Franny threatned that if we dont execute a drainage plan for free that she would have no choice but to attack us on social media. We fixed a downspout that had settled and replaced with an above ground accordian pipe for free, without warranty, 6 years later. Still not satisfied, she demanded a complete drainage system for free, which was never in the initial scope to begin with or she would have no choice but to come at me on social media. With a growing business that has steller reviews across the board, I understand how much negative reviews can impact a small business. That being said what she was asking from us was not right and the way she handled the matter was not ethical. Would not recommend doing business with Francine Mazone.
