My car died while we were on our way to a mountain getaway and Sid’s was the closest mechanic. They were honest and told us that they couldn’t fix the problem in a timely manner but they could charge the battery enough to get us going. It was great!

I am a mechanic by trade, and when I dont have the space or time to do the work myself, my mother and I bring our vehicles here, and have been for many years. Outstanding, good people, running an honest family owned business. Excellent work done here for an extremely fair price. People you can absolutely trust.

These are honest, genuine people. It takes a bit to get an appointment, but for good reason; they are the real deal. I highly recommend this place if you want your vehicle in trustworthy and knowledgeable hands!

Great service and value. Saved me nearly $300 on a brake issue from the quote I received at a chain brake shop and the repairs were completed same day. I will never go to another Mechanic. Sids is the best. I will pay whatever it takes to have my car towed to Sids. They are honest, economical and they clearly communicate everything they do to your car before they do anything. They also have great recommendations if the issue cannot be resolved at their shop.I have tried other auto shops in Arvada and always end up regretting it and paying for repairs that dont fix the problem or cause new problems. Sids is the way to go!

Have to highly recommend this shop. Came in to get my new Wrangler looked at after the dealership dropped the ball and the service I received at Sids was nothing short of impressive. I had called ahead, so the mechanic (Rick?) stopped what he was doing to come out and talk to me personally, then spent 30 minutes climbing over my engine with me and driving around Golden. Instead of charging me to fix the problem, he recommended I go back to the dealership to get it taken care of for free, since they made an error in the prior service. So, while I cant speak to this shops technical aptitude, I can attest their customer service is top notch and they are truly honest. Ill be recommending this shop to everyone I know and will be coming back to give them my business the next time I need to get something fixed. Would rather pay to get my oil changed here than have the dealer do it wrong again.

I brought my car to Sids to have my alternator replaced and left with electrical problems!When I started my car after my alternator had been replaced (in Sids parking-lot still) my anti-theft system started to act as if my car was being stolen. Rich messed with my clicker and it stopped. However, it continued happen. Approx a week later Rich attempted to disabled the alarm system. When the problem continued he referred my elsewhere. When I learned it would cost $250 just to diagnose the problem I called Rich to explain and ask what potion he was willing to pay. Not only did he immediately get angry and tell me it was not his fault, he said and I quote IF A MAN WERE TO WALK INTO MY PARKING LOT AND FALL OVER DEAD, WOULD THAT BE MY FAULT TOO? I ultimately just hung up. Not only do i feel I was treated very poorly, I do not believe if I were man would he have ever spoke to me this way. Do not take your car to Sids, especially if you are a female!
