From our fist exploratory call with Mike we felt we were in good hands. Needing to find an IL place quickly for my father-in-law who was recovering from a number of medical procedures, and in the middle of a pandemic, Mike took the time to meet with us on our schedule, was very clear in his communications, was incredibly accommodating to our needs and really made us feel like we had a sound resource to help us navigate this brand new situation.Everyone at Golden Pond weve worked with has been friendly and supportive of our needs and the needs of my father-in-law. The property is clean and comfortable and all the residents we met seemed to enjoy living at Golden Pond.Thank you for being such a big help to us and my father-in-law

My extended family was looking for an Independent Living solution for my uncle. He kept trying to find problems with every location they visited because he simply did not want to live in a retirement community. They finally visited Golden Pond, and while he had a few concerns, my uncle finally gave in and chose his new home at Golden Pond.The family really enjoys visiting him, and because the apartments are spacious enough, they do not feel like they are visiting him in a medical facility (which was one of his issues with other communities). The staff has all been warm, welcoming and helpful to all of the family. And he really enjoys the food (another of his issues, he didnt want TV dinners that were warmed up).I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone at Golden Pond for making this change in my uncles life as easy as possible for him. His perception of retirement communities has been changed by Golden Pond, and he keeps joking with the family about maybe meeting Jane Fonda one day (a reference to the movie On Golden Pond).So, again, thank you for all you do and continue to do for my uncle. I know he appreciates it, as do all of us.

I have done work with the golden pond retirement community and throughout my experience everyone I encountered with extremely friendly and professional. The community is beautiful and the staff is on top of it. I would recommend golden pond to my loved ones and friends as a great place to live and call home.

Golden Pond is truly a special place. All the staff are very professional, kind, helpful and understanding. Michael is great to work with and made the move for my dad from Arizona into independent living there easy. The apartments are spacious and very nice along with the beautiful facilities and grounds. And the food is amazing!! I don’t think we could have found a better place. We are very happy with the Golden Pond Community.

We toured Golden Pond last week and absolutely loved it! We are looking forward to grandma moving here. She was very happy we found a place closer to the mountains but still conveniently close to the city so we can visit often. The views are great with mountain backdrop? Friendly and helpful staff. My big sister volunteered at the retirement community and loved it. I couldn’t wait to do the same. Now I work at Golden Pond and love the residents, staff, and environment.

Everyone we have met at Golden Pond has been personable and has accommodated any of our needs. We appreciate everything they have done to get my mother in law comfortable and situated in her new home. She is the happiest I have seen her in a long time. She has been treated with respect and dignity by the Golden Pond staff.

Golden Pond was the location my wifes grandfather stayed for quite a few years. I want to thank the staff and management team for helping create a great experience for him and very accommodating when we would visit.Golden Pond also had great views in golden and very well taken care, the rooms and facilities are very clean and very nice.Thanks again GP and Staff!

Golden Pond Retirement Community has been so welcoming and has made me feel part of the “Team” right from the start. I have enjoyed getting to know the residents of this wonderful community. Our staff works tirelessly to make sure every resident is being taken care of with the utmost care and respect. I am so excited and proud to be a part of the Golden Pond Team.

Our Loved Ones have been at GP for over two years, and we cannot say enough about the loving care they have received. The staff is professional, polite, caring, and efficient. During Covid-19, they have been keeping residents happy & healthy, and have also been doing a great job informing families about the States current regulations during this incredibly difficult time.

The staff at Golden Pond have always been kind to our grandparents as well as us every time we visit. Visiting during Covid has been hard but GP has always been accommodating in whatever way they could, while following all the guidelines. The location is great, right at the foot of the mountains and the amenities inside and outside for the residents (walking paths, art classes, etc.) have made it feel more like home for our loved ones.

Looked at multiple places and by far this was the top of my list. The community is very clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

My mom lived at Golden Pond for 3 years. We could not have asked for better care. The staff went above and beyond daily for my mom. And they were there to grieve with me when she passed. I would recommend Golden Pond to anyone who wants excellent care for their aging parent.

I have a loved one living at Golden Pond and she is very well cared for. The staff go above and beyond to accomodate her needs and she has settled in quite nicely. My interactions with both the administrative staff and the care staff have been nothing other than pleasant. The facility is clean, well maintained and very welcoming.

Mom was very happy at Golden Pond. The entire staff was amazing and listened to any request made. Golden Pond is clean and bright with a myriad of activities for its residents. Highly recommend.

I think is a very nice place and clean. and everywhere has rules and thats very normal and the managers jeff and Miguel they the best both managers like to help every time they you need help i just can said is very nice place.

Terrible Administration. Dirty Facility. Never would recommend to anyone.Update in regards to the response- Not sure what the no call no show policy has to do with anything. I QUIT because of how terrible administration was, and how horrible I was treated as a caregiver. The WRONG employees were trusted the most. I witnessed it first hand. I worked here for 2 months and at another facility for 2 years. That says something. Constantly having to call in Temp agencies says something. Unfortunately the most unprofessional place I have ever been employed.

I met with Ms Angie and the Staff what a fabulous team. That group of people are CLASS ACT professionals. My family and I are looking to relocate our Sweet NaNa.From the moment walking-in the facility makes feel more like coming home then entering a cold sad place. If you have older loved ones you know I what mean, its rare to find smells, sounds, and heck happy people like HOME. 5 stars, 10pts and 2 thumbs up!!!

Recently my family and I were looking for a retirement community for my grandmother. During this process the wonderful staff were always kind and caring concerning our needs. From the receptionist to the Director we felt they cared about our needs. I highly recommend Golden Pond to any families looking for their loved ones.

I have been trying for weeks to get a return call back from a person named Angela who appears to be the only one there who can talk to you about the financial part of this community, and she has never returned my call. When I mentioned this to the person who answers the phone they seemed completely disinterested. If you cant even get competent assistance from the very beginning, I cannot imagine how poor their services are once you are actually there. I will not look into this further for our family, nor will I recommend it.

Terrible administration, way to much favoritism in the place, that they will fire their best employees if you don’t agree with what they say. Not enough staffing. Would not recommend working their, they will work you to death and when you say no they will give you attitude.

A TRUE community. Staff are attentive and residents are fun! Happy hour on Fridays is a must.
