DONT COME WORK HEREI was promised a full-time position at Genoa after 6 months of working there. Three months in and they had 3 people, including myself, fired for BS reasons. Their excuse is that I didnt meet their requirements and that I fell asleep. My job is to call patients. Thats all I do. Their company computer system that generates phone numbers for us to call was down. It was broken ever since I started working there. The job pace was really slow. There were no patients to call. Their maintenance cant even fix their system. So because of this, I didnt meet their requirements.And the part where I fell asleep? That was during my break time. I get two 15-minutes break and one 30-minutes break every day. Staring at the screen all day can give me a migraine. All I did was put my head down and rest my eyes during my break times. Apparently, that was a good enough BS reason to get me fired. Must I say, it was during my break again?I had the other two peoples contacts and they both got fired for the same reason I did. They did not meet the requirements and they also fell asleep. Genoa is really into their culture, but from what Ive experienced, theyre job culture is very poor. They will find ways to fire you. If you work here, you need to be careful and watch your back. I would not recommend working here. Theyre just another big company that will fire and replace employees anytime they want. Not a good place to work here.So its been a week since theyve fired me. I handed my key card to them awhile back, but they wont give me my personal belongings after sending numerous requests.

I work here as a representative - I started as a temp/contractor and then was offered a full-time position after six months based off my performance. They were clear upfront being hired was based off my performance and business needs. It was a good stepping stone for me, I started as a rep and then was promoted outside the care center to another position. I think there are about 4-5 of us who were promoted. Its relatively small group, but we have fun. Systems at times can be frustrating, we make outbound calls mostly and some folks hate being bothered but were not selling anything as much as educating. My boss was accessible, fair and available. You will be at your desk the entire day, it can be very repetitious making outbound calls. It may not be for everyone. AND TONY - errr I MEAN LUCILLE, YOU WILL NEED TO STAY AWAKE AT YOUR DESK!
