The wait time was the only negative as the clinic was very busy the day I was there. Dr. Sinclair was excellent as usual. She carefully explained the situation with my left eye which thankfully was not serious. The other staff members were thorough and kind.

I had my first visit with Dr. Schmitt Aug. 26th. He was very professional and thorough and believed I would benefit from surgery. I was told to wait until after a family wedding we had on Sept.17th because of possible bruising. I was told that the schedulers would call me within 2 business days and they did. She told me she needed to check with my insurance company to make sure it would be covered. I had already checked with my insurance as I was told to do before ever coming to the initial appt., but ok, whatever. I called the sceduling line on Sept. 20th and left a message that I was ready to schedule surgery, they said they return calls within 2 business days. I never got a call back. Called again on Sept. 30th, asked to speak to a supervisor and guess what, they put me into the schedulers voice mail AGAIN and I never got a call back. I am beginning to wonder if they meant 48 DAYS!!

Poor customer service in Golden Valley Optical eyeglass department. The 2 staff who I worked with seemed bored and uninterested in helping me. Felt like an inconvenient bother and very devalued as a patient. Decided to not get my glasses from them. I am transferring my eye care to another clinic.

I was 10-15 minutes late but the front desk forgave me & were cheerful & efficient. Heidi ran the tests on me quickly, explained details, & I was very happy with her work. Please advise Dr. Kruthoff I am eating salads & fruit although not my favorite foods.

I started with Northwest Eye and Dr. Bonnie Bongaard at your very small clinic on Duluth street by Byerlys decades ago. I received very good service there and have remained with NWE ever since. So although my doctors and technicians and the locations have changed over time, I feel I have always had the very best in eye care and at age 82 my eyes and vision are in very good shape. I have had, and still have, total trust in all your staff and support people. Thanks!

I was running pretty late on the day of my appointment, but the receptionist was very kind and understanding. I was still able to see the doctor despite being about 15 minutes late, which was a relief. The nurse that checked my vision and contacts was very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Peterson was also very friendly and knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to me. I absolutely love this clinic and it is my choice for great care!

The nurse that took first tests, needs to be campssion towards patients, felt like she was drilling me like a child, not as an adult. Bad enough to date I felt offensive. Dr Feldmann and Nate was awesome.

Heidi was very professional and moved along quickly.DR.Ramsey did a nice exam and explained the progress of my cataract.The total appt.took from 0950 to 1135.

Dr. Ehlen is my opthamologist. He has taken very good care of me. When I said I was squinting a lot, he checked my eyes and determined I was ready for cataract surgery.Dr. Ehlen recommended laser surgery for my right eye and did an amazing job. My left eye received traditional cataract surgery. Both eyes are healing well.After 50 + years of wearing glasses, I no longer need to wear glasses! Its amazing!Dr. Ehlen said if my vision wasnt good after surgery, there are things that can be done. No additional treatment is needed.Northwest Eye is my recommendation for anyone needing vision care!

I was able to get a same day appt for an eye issue and it was very well. It was timely and Dr. Peterson was wonderful. He is always friendly and professional.

Efficient and professional staff. Dane Peterson, my Optometrist, is the best. Hes thorough and really takes the time to help figure out whats best for me in contacts and eye glasses. Ive been going to him for 3 years now. Hes the best.

Took a little getting used to the new arrangements but the check up was very thorough and well explained.

The technician didnt ask about my current glasses until the exam was nearly complete, which made the exam take twice as long, which made me late for the next appointment

Dr. Peterson has been so thorough and actively working to mitigate my dry eye situation. He has vastly improved my eyes through trying different treatments while testing frequently to assess the dryness. I’m very happy to have found him after dealing with this for years. Other doctors have not tried much.

Dr Loushin and his staff were excellent. The exam was very thorough and comprehensive. There all answered questions in an informative and courteous manner taking the time to be sure that they were understood. I feel confident the history and the future of my eye care is in good hands.There were minor issues due to scheduling consecutive appointments with myself and my wife having my procedures and test taking longer than hers. Since we both purchased new glasses, with COVID-19 office protocol, she had to wait after selecting hers and was encouraged to leave the office rather than waiting for me. It did work out as she was there when I finished so we could assist each other selecting our new frames. Additionally, they should have offered thin plastic disposable sunglasses after applying dilation solution before going out into the sunshine and snow covered environment driving home. I felt that this was a safety issue that should be applied or offered to clients upon leaving.All in all, it is a good experience being treated there and purchasing eyewear. I would recommend Northwest Eye.

Most importantly, I feel confident that the doctors and the techs are good at what they do and will take care of my eyes. They seem competent. Aside from that, everyone, including the doctor were very pleasant. The wait was a bit long but they were busy that day and when the doctor spoke with me, she did not rush me and she answered several questions I had without making me feel like I was imposing on her. I really appreciated that. I like this place and would recommend it.

My recent appointment was a year follow-up to my cataract surgeries. This clinic is efficiently managed. The doctors I have seen here are personable and experts in their field. I also feel that the nurses and support staff are exceptionally well trained.

I had my yearly eye exam and contact lens evaluation with Dr. Peterson in Golden Valley. Everyone at the clinic was welcoming and efficient. Dr. Peterson did a wonderful job and answered all my questions. Great job!!!

I was pleased. I was ready to sit and a fellow came out and asked John. In we went for all the preliminary work. He took me out to the waiting room and I hardly had a chance to sit and a lady came and asked, John. Into another exam room. I sat down in the chair and Dr. Eland came in. Shortly after the exam was complete and I was on my way. It was the least amount of time spent for an examination. I had another appointment that I moved back, knowing I would never get out in time. I was out in my truck and called them and was able to get right in, earlier than my original set time. All around, that made it a very pleasant experience. Very professional staff, from the receptionist to the assistants to the doctors. They take all of the necessary procedures to safeguard their patients health, so I felt safe going in for my biannual exam with Dr. Ehlen during the pandemic. Highly recommended.

Dr Feldman and her staff are very competent, I received a much more thorough testing and examine then previous retina clinic. I left this visit very well informed of my eye issues and confident Dr Feldmann treatment plan will be the best. The front desk staff in this office are very efficient and friendly!

The care at NW Eye is very thorough and professional. Their greatest issue is in trying to connect with them. There is long delay in phone contact and it is VERY difficult to reach a real person to make an appointment or discuss ongoing concerns.

My parents both went to this Clinic group and the raves about the fantastic care. Now I too am going. My eye problems are completely different from any of my family but I knew I could trust them. Switched providers to a different clinic because of Covid inability to get an appt. here and they WILL NOT forward my records, despite multiple requests. They are complete JERKS!!!!

I should have told the doctor who I usually do t see that I live on $30,000 a year. When I picked up the prescription for eye drops it was $900. I couldn’t get them. The people at the clinic are great. Please look out for people who have financial limitations.

This appointment took a lot longer than usual, not sure why but instead of being in and out in less than an hour it was more like an hour and a half which wasnt expected

Front desk staff is awesome; always friendly, courteous, welcoming and helpful. I followed Dr. Feldmann here, so obviously I hold her in the highest regard. I totally trust my eye care to her. This is a busy location, so there may be some waiting involved. Free parking, handicap accessible, comfortable waiting area.

My first appointment mysteriously disappeared. I had to take the afternoon off and drive 45 minutes from work to get to my appointment only to be told I didnt have an appointment. Thankfully I was able to get rescheduled a week later. The service was great! Please make sure when appointments are made over the phone that they are entered in the system and a confirmation is sent out.

I can not recommend this clinic enough, especially Dr. Peterson. I was impressed from the very beginning with the communication and knowledge from Dr. Peterson, related to dry eye symptoms. I’ve seen many other eye doctors (good doctors) who could not help with my case. I am so grateful to have been treated with concern and respect and to be doing SO much better than I was. All thanks to Dr. Peterson and the great staff at Northwest Eye Clinic!
