I made an appointment here after reading all of the good reviews. I had a terrible experience. My daughter and I arrived for our appointment and were told they scheduled something different and didnt have time for the no chip mani/pedis we scheduled. Then they said they would fit us in. My nail tech was rude and very rough performing the pedicure. She started applying the polish and I had to ask her twice to completely removing the old polish. She was unprofessional and did a lousy job with the polish. I decided not to go ahead with my manicure as I just wanted to get out of there asap. I did kindly share my feedback with the owner who told me she has gotten similar feedback with this nail tech but didnt seem to care much. Obviously I will not be returning.

We love the family atmosphere and the professional services. Angela is attentive to detail and treats me like royalty!

After a Brazilian wax I was still pretty hairy was told it was because of the really short hairs I had left over but When i got home I noticed I still had a few long hairs lefts as well. I also had to tell the wax technician to keep waxing after she told me she was done ( she was originally going to leave me with even more hair) If I paid the full price for service I expect to get the full service. Then the front desk person mentioned a tip as if I owed them a tip a tip is only given when good service is done. Waxing lady had very nice customer service but didn’t do the job very well.

I’m quite disappointed with this salon considering the high prices and high review.I went here a few days ago because I wanted to find a nail salon that is good with nail art and they advertised it on their website price list. I initially got a no chip manicure with studs and they all started falling off an hour after I left so I went back and got stickers instead and it hasn’t even been a week and they’re starting to come off.So if you want nail art this is not the salon to go to. I paid $60 for my nails (extra 20) because of nail art and they haven’t even lasted a week.

Excellent place! Staff is professional and accommodating and the salon is beautifully decorated. Make an appointment! This place is popular. They definitely go the extra mile to make it a luxurious experience. They have numerous deals and packages available for frequent visitors which are quite nice.

Love this place for manis, pedis and massages. Its value and quality. the best way to get value from this place is to sign up for their e-mail offers. From time to time they come out with offers which I prepay and buy up services at a lower price and then use them through the year. I love their massage specialist and they also have a nice mom-daughter offer. My little one loves getting her nails done here.

I have been to Northshore Nails and Day Spa numerous times for various services. The pedicures are good - all technicians have done a nice job. No-chip manicures are good, but they take almost twice as long as anywhere else. But they do last. Ive also had waxing done here, and that was also well-done. I find the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I love the online scheduling feature.

I went here for a working outing and had my first massage. It was very relaxing and I felt very comfortable. I also got a pedicure and manicure there, which came out very nice and lasted longer than others I have had at different places. I would definitely go back again.

Amazing service every time! Staff is courteous and welcoming. The last few visits I have seen Lina and she is phenomenal! This is the only place I’ll go for a mani/pedi!

Have been going to this business for many years.The owner of the shop lost several of her staff during the time off but has recouped one staff member and a new staff member and herself and is up and running full schedule. Had a much needed Manl-Pedi and loved it.

I am a bit torn about this place, but overall, I liked it!On the one hand, Angela did a wonderful job on my pedicure. She was detailed, thorough, and a perfectionist. I was extremely happy with my new turquoise nails! Ive never had a technician care so much about the execution of the pedicure. Kudos to her!On the other hand, there are some areas that need improvement at this place, especially since a pedi is a steep $35. A lot of the nail polish selection seems to be old . The polish is visibly settled and separated in the bottle. Also, the scrubbing brushes/paddles that are used on your feet are kept in a plastic bowl haphazardly placed on the floor in a corner. It doesnt look very clean, and Im cringing at the thought of it.

I have been going to Northshore Nails and Day Spa for about a year and a half now, a friend suggested it for their Monday/Tuesday Mani/Pedi Specials. I went a few times for that and got hooked ! Though they no longer have that special, I go almost every week for a manicure and also do pedicures, waxing & have had several facialsAll have been wonderful, they pamper you and treat you like youre very special every time you walk in the door. Each one of the girls are terrific. This is the first salon Ive been where I can have anyone of the girls do my services and be equally pleased . They certainly know how to treat their clients to have us keep returning................I LOVE it there

My mother, my grandmother and I have been going to Northshore Nails and Day Spa regularly for over a year now. We highly enjoy all of the staff who are friendly and make us feel at home when we come in to have our nails done (especially my 93 year old grandmother!). The attractive prices and discounts/offers make our visits that much better. Manicures, pedicures, no-chip, shellac - all have been a great experience and we would highly recommend coming in to see Shimmy and the wonderful staff at Northshore Nails and Day Spa!

Will not be returning. First visit was positive and I thought I would be a repeat customer. After sitting in traffic on Waukegan for 15 mins to get to this place at 5:20 pm on a Tuesday evening I arrive only to be told I cant have service; no explanation and they clearly say that walk ins are welcome. One customer, one manicurist and the place closed at 9:00. Customer was kind enough to recommend other local places to try. I went elsewhere and wont be returning.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. I used a yelp check in offer which was accepted with no issues. I enjoyed the ease of the online booking system. I received a coupon via email which I fully intend to use.

Most of the time, anywhere else I go for a reg. manicure, polish starts to chip away in 2 or 3 days, but at NorthShore Nails, I can count on them to last without chipping for at least 5/6 days. I love the staff, the owners are very friendly and they take the time to know you! I have many other manicure salon closer to me, but I dont mind driving the extra few miles for better customer service, cleanliness and quality of service at NS Nails!

Lina is an amazing nail technician. Everyone who works there are very friendly and the atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing.

I love North Shore Nails and Day Spa - they have private pedicure rooms and do a truly fabulous job - my pedicures always last forever. The manicures are great as well, and Ive never had a technician I didnt like. Its a relaxing atmosphere. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is a little overpriced. They used to have this great deal for a mani pedi on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but have since gotten rid of it. Its now a little out of my price range, but for a nice gift, or if youre willing to spend the extra money, its worth it!

I went to Northshore Nails and Day Spa for my Birthday with a girlfriend.They treated us so well. They offered coffee or water as soon as we started our Pedicures. The atmosphere was so relaxing and they made me feel very comfortable. I got regular mani and padi and the nail polish lasted for over a week. I was very happy with the service and recommend it to all my girlfriends.

I found this Spa on Groupon and was very pleasantly surprised. My massage was wonderful and I loved the private pedicure room. The chair was so comfortable, better than any other pedicure chair I have ever been on! The pedicure was wonderful. It was my birthday treat to myself and I enjoyed every moment. It was truly a relaxing day. The spa was clean, the people nice, and the service was fantastic. The prices are a bit high for my budget without the Groupon but sometimes they have specials.

Ive gone for nail services and have been very happy. By far the most thorough and satisfying Spa Pedicure Ive ever had. They use a variety of treatments to get your skin and nails in top condition. Ive not taken advantage of other services but they offer an array of skin treatments as well. I had a mix up with scheduling but it all worked out. Convenient hours until 7 pm, great for the working women. Convenient location across from Trader Joes and Walgreens. Friendly staff.

I found the Northshore Nails and Day Spa on Living Social. I had a paraffin wax treatment manicure and pedicure. Ive never done the wax treatments, but have had hundreds of manis and pedis, so that was a fun, new experience. They send great email specials too. The only downside is that its located in a plaza off two busy streets and turning left from Lake onto Waukegan Road is kind of a pain during certain parts of the day.

I have been going to Northshore for a few years for mani/pedis and am always really pleased! Everyone that works there is so nice and friendly and talented. It is always a peaceful little getaway from life! I have always had a good experience and recommend it!

I bought a Groupon for a 1 hr facial but received a 40 minute service. On the day of my scheduled visit, I’ve called the office to confirm the appointment. At the time of my call, I was instructed to arrive 5 to 10 minutes late because the aesthetician was ‘running late’. On arrival, I was given standard paperwork to fill out. That took additional 5 to 10 minutes. My 11:00 appointment started at 11:20 and finished at 12:00. It appears Northshore Nails and Day Spa is making a habit of short changing the customers. I have paid for 1 hour service and I expect nothing less. I do not recommend this place.

My first experience of this spa today, which was a massage by Nitzia and was wonderful!

I had a mani/pedi here once and really loved it. It was a little more expensive than the typical nail store on the block, but not much more. It is also a little harder to schedule because they clearly are popular. But it is worth the little extra they charge because they really have outstanding spa services. I like the smaller intimate rooms and the bonus neck massage afterwards. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Check em out!

I had Nail repairs done On damaged nails and cracked nails. I love the work she did at giving me lovely nails and will certainly be returning

I went with Groupon for a mani/pedi. Lilly did a nice job, but the place is very cramped, especially the station to dry your nails. The pedi chairs do not massage. They offer a heated pad on your shoulders during the mani. Lilly recommended a cuticle product which I bought.It was worth the Groupon price, but would not pay their original asking price of $50. The manicurist seemed to be a diverse group so they werent speaking a foreign language to one another like you find in so many other places.

I found Northshore Nails because of a Groupon deal, and have been coming back ever since. Nice folks! Ive had a facial, and many mani/pedis, all professionally done. Tucked into a strip mall, the shop is surprisingly calming. One pedicure room has one chair, so it is relaxiing not to have to listen to other peoples chitchat. Ill be back!

I went to northshore nails and day spa 3 times ,it was so relaxing experience with european facial my face did look differenet ,I will recommend it for sure,the owner he is really nice and helpful.

I went to Northshore for a mani and pedi with a week to go before delivering our second child and it could not have been more relaxing and perfect! I got the milk and honey mani and pedi both; the service was terrific and I was so mellow when I left. I plan to go again!

I really enjoy going to Northshore Nails and Day Spa. Shimmy and the ladies (and Tim :)) are great. Very friendly, welcoming, warm, and genuine. The only services Ive had there are Manicures and Pedicures. The technicans are very nice and professional. I really like that the pedicure chairs are in rooms that are private/semi private. There is not a lot of chatter and talking between the technicans compared to other locations in the area. I feel that Im receiving that special one-on-one attention and treatment, which is what I prefer when pampering myself. I also really like the various essential herbs/powders that they add to the pedicure tub. There is so much from which you can choose. My favorite thus far is a mixture of Peppermint and Lavender. And, to wrap up my wonderful mani/pedi experience is a complimentary shoulder/back massage while at the drying station. All I can say is... Ahhhhh! If you havent been there, youll want to check them out - you will not be disappointed!

My go to nail place when my nails are looking like they need a medi pedi ASAP. Staff is always very sweet and really care about their customers. I have yet to try out the spa, but im sure it wont dissapoint.
