I was desperate for help, and called this place to see if I could transfer over because my current psychiatrist doesn’t know how to help me and even tried to pass a wrong diagnosis on me. I explained to the receptionist that I wanted to find a psychiatrist who could help me work out some med issues, but he said it wasn’t fair that they take me on as a client and that I would have to wait two months without a psychiatrist before I could be transferred over if that was something I still wanted to do. I don’t know if you guys know this, but mental health isn’t a joke. It’s not fair that I’m reaching out for help, and for whatever reason I’m being treated like I’m a burden and like what I’m going through is whatever. It’s not whatever. People like me call because we need help and don’t know what to do, and if we did we wouldn’t be calling. Please take us more seriously, and lose the attitude it’s not helpful.

Absolutely total respect for this Glendora hospital. The dedication and love from the personnel are palpable, commendable. I hope others will join in promoting their excellent work.

The hospital closed the emergency room in Sep 2019 and they didnt bother to update the information to health insurance. I wanted to take my dad to ER and i was told by my insurance that this hopistal is the closeset one with ER only to find out later after driving there that ER is no longer available. I had look for another place and drive there...losing critical time that should have been used taking of my dad.

This place was very dirty! In the bathroom there was blood on the toilet seat my first night! The spoons there are disgusting! USE PLASTIC SPOONS! I was admitted to the hospital for gallstones and was there for 4 1/2 days. I had my gallbladder removed and according to the surgeon during surgery the cauterizer he used didnt work and they had to find one that did. The nurses in the morning shift and evening shift were very nice, but the nurses that tended to me right after surgery were absolutely horrible! About 20 minutes after surgery Regina made me walk to the bathroom on my own and up the hallway. I understand walking after surgery is essential for a speedy recovery, but without assistance directly after surgery? No! Another nurse who checked my vitals after surgery told me to stop crying! I was in so much pain I couldnt help it! Aside from the care I received after the surgery the nurses were great!

I am not sure if anyone will actually see this post. As of September 16th, 2019; Glendora Community Hospital is now known as Glendora Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital. Emergency Room services are NO LONGER offered at that facility. The next closest hospital with Emergency services is Foothill Presbyterian Hospital. Their address is 250 S. Grand Avenue. The Emergency room is on the corner of Grand Avenue and Ada Avenue. You can also seek emergency help at San Dimas Community Hospital.

THis is a very small hospital but their LOCKED PSYCH ward was wonderful. They took good care of my mom and kept her safe while she got stabilized on a 5150.. She even liked their food. The social worker helped me find long term placement near my home.

Took my mom to pysch ward it was awful... it smelled so bad!!!! Made me sick... had my mom out of there in 5 hours.. they couldnt even get transfer right.. sent us to some nursing home when we were suppose to be going to Chino hospital.. after all the confusion because paper work was wrong!!! Finally got my mom back to chino hospital.. chino hospital is the best hospital since DR. LALLY took over.. cant say enough about all the staff at chino very nice.. from the front desk to the Doctors and everyone in between.. Thank you chino hospital for taking great care of my mother!!!

They only take old people

The only patients this hospital gets are the ones that nobody cares about people without family from nursing homes and patients who just dont know a better. All the five star reviews are probably written by employees or employees family members.

This is the absolute WORST HOSPITAL I have been to in my life . I am going on day 2 for the removal of a G/J tube ( a 10 minute procedure ) Most of the staff speaks broken englsh and I have yet to meet my Doctor. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE !!!

I really want to give them -1, but the minimum is 1 star. My advice: DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE! They only care about money, they dont care about your health. My wife had a bad cold and wanted to see a doctor, they took her to emergency room and did nothing but basic checkup, my wife asked about insurance, the nurse said no insurance needed and they will talk about insurance later. Then when she left, the front desk charged her $600 for nothing and they argued that that was emergency service. My wife just wanted to ask some advice from a doctor about her cough, they just directly lead her to the emergency room without mentioning insurance upfront. How ridiculous was it??

They dont care about their patients at all! Its all about the money!! First they did a cat scan, then they wanted to do an ultrasound & run an IV. When they decided to do the cat scan I questioned it & asked why not an ultrasound instead? Why put the patient under radiation if its unnecessary?? Radiation from the cat scan raises your chances of getting cancer people!! Not completely sold on the idea of the cat scan, we finish & go back inside the hospital because the cat scan was done outside the hospital inside a mobile office room. The nurse comes & says your daughter is getting an ultrasound & IV. That was ENOUGH for ME. I took my daughter & left this place. All they cared about was running as many lab test as possible & doing unnecessary high risk medical procedures to bill medical. Dont go there people!!

2 years ago i went into the mental heath and one.checked my bags and innever saw my clothes aga My handbag was.right there n9t.locked up in safe but open to all the thieves that were totally the worst thing to be raded and stolen,my money. , clothes handbag that disappeared right then and no one made paper work on my belongings that were taken i lost all i.loved materally. I was horrified although not surprised bc this wasnot a new thing i also had stealinghappenef in China Town. Well. I had written President Trump specifially about the theft and treatment and harm to me that tje evil mean and how.they exterbatef me in my room that should have been supervised as hr might well have puntured my lungs. Its very dangerous procedure. Als lo when i had the my written report the two main spitefully nurses lied saying i was hypersexual at 72 widowed 28 yrs and no way was.I. sexual . having not the least bet sexual period in all the 28 yrs. I wrote tpthe President and lowand behold in the next weak i was sent a box with my handbag and still not much.. No money and no clothes. But i reported them to insurance and the hospital . i saw such.crulety and treated so horribly. They treated these.helpless people like criminals. I can not go on it was so bad. I hear there are renovations and maybe new management. I have already.been a victum of our systems of the mental health being in so many hospitals for depression.bc of rape and beatings and crulty am finding im no more helped by these absolute evil individuals that ran this kind of mental health that i am forced to write this reveiw. It can not be understated enough. Glendora Hospital.gets a ZERO in my book. Dont go save yourself of this criminal Hospital.

It was very nice the people that worked there were very understanding and tried to go oit of therr way to help me. They are just getting started on opening as a hospital so there was alot of construction but it was looking good when i was there.

Very friendly staff, even with construction it was a pleasant visit.

Worst hospital ever.one star for ER but after that good luck.My dads blood pressure was high and they failed to do anything until it went up to 264/180 and he had a seizure.I had to try to get a hold of his dr.s causd the nurses were standing around like stupids.I even had to have a meeting with their chief nursing.They never called rapid responce.One Dr.told me never bring my dad there.Theyve been investigated many times.A nurse that worked there said we only get old patients or crazy ones.Thanks to this hospital my dad was traumatized about being alone if something happens to him.

Do NOT go here! I took my husband to the ER on Friday at 3:00pm and Dr. Ng sent him home after HOURS of tests for severe stomach pain that had him on the floor crying.. His diagnosis was gallstones but his solution was eat healthier and deal with it, no pain meds.. NOTHING. The next morning (Saturday) at 4:00am my husband is on the floor in tears, so I took him to San Dimas Medical Hospital instead 2-3 hours later my husbands gets admitted and tests are done with the knowledge of gallstones.. So today (Sunday) he gets his gallbladder removed and has to get surgery again on Monday because there is a gallstone in his bile tube blocking the intestine, by the way there was literally HUNDREDS of Gallstones in my husbands gallbladder I am not joking or exaggerating at all, its not normal for a male, young male to ever have that many gallstones, and the idiot Doctor should have caught that! So Dr. Ng doesnt know ANYTHING Im furious as can be at that hospital and its staff! At the hospital my husband is at now when we tell a nurse or doctor we went here first they get this knowing look and roll theyre eyes, then ask if it was Dr. Ng that saw him... So even other hospitals know that this man and this hospital is completely incompetent! Save yourself the stress and anger when you realize these people dont care about you, GO to San Dimas, They are sooooo much better, Im in love with the staff so far and the hospital in general.
