The receptionists and hygienists are fantastic but the dentists are the worst Ive had in my entire life. Every time its a new dentist thats fresh out of school. And their quality reflects that. I finally went to two other dentists and they both said that Glendora Smiles put fillings in when they shouldnt, had fillings fall out, missed cavities, and misdiagnosed outright. By far, the worst dentists this planet has to offer.

On my last visit, dentist refused to reattach a crown (that cost $500 in this same office) and tried to pressure me into paying $1000 for a whiz bang ceramic crown. I took the crown and left and paid another dentists to reattach it.Recently, I had an extraction done and now have a possible infection in the gum. I called and asked if I needed to see the oral surgeon and if there would be financial liability for the visit.I was told that I needed to come in for an exam. I said I would not come in if they were going to charge me to identify a likely problem from the procedure and up sell me on other services. This is the specialty of Glendora Smiles. The guy on the phone couldn’t answer me. I paid another dentist to figure it out. I have bone coming through my gum from the extraction process.Their oral surgeons are contractors and you have little recourse for situations like this.I will never go back to this business and would give less than 1 star if possible.

The dentist ground down a crown on my upper teeth to make his crown fit that was too high. I asked if he ground down the crown above the new crown. He stated yes. He asked if it needed more and I declined because I new this just wasn’t right! When I got home and looked at it closely he ground down my upper crown to the point the metal is exposed! The crown he did is too high, my mouth was numb when he asked if it felt ok. my teeth are hitting and I fear I will crack a tooth because it wasn’t made correctly. I’m done w/Glendora smiles! Clearly, the metal has been exposed! The new crown $800 later is too high! Seriously, you have to damage other teeth to make it fit?!? Order a new one!!!! Oh but that will cost you money for YOUR mistake! I’m just beyond livid! THESE ARE MY TEETH! HOW DARE YOU! Filing a report with the board. I’m done !

If I could give zero star I would. Made an appointment with them took over 30mins for them to see me. Fast forward, 1.5 hours later after they trying to figure out what care and cleaning I needed, they came back in and told me that they can’t do anything because my insurance needed a pre-authorization first. I said that’s not necessary this is not my first rodeo. They still insist that is was mandatory. I left, went outside and called my insurance (They did not try to call the insurance with any questions) myself and they told me that they do not require any pre-authorization for cleaning and fillings which was under $750. I went back in and told them that the pre-authorization was not necessary because I just confirm it. They went to check and wanted me to make another appointment without an apology for not doing their job. I am very disappointed with how they handle the situation and I recommend some training for them especially customer service. Thank you for wasting my time for the first and the last.

Read the negative reviews they all say the same thing. Always trying to get more money out of you.We have gone here for more then 7 years and just tired of the over charging and upselling. Yesterday my 19 year old daughter visited for cleaning and xrays she left with a 6100.00 bill that included a 700.00 mouth gaurd. Looking for a new dentist

All they care about is making money and up selling their services, they are not interested in looking into your actual dental issues, but just into charging you with procedures so they can bill you more, even if it means doing a root canal on your good teeth. Please beware of this clinic. I’m never going back there again

I have been coming to this office since they opened. I hate going to the dentist because of bad experiences at other places. The dentists & staff are very caring & have been supportive in regards to my fears & anxieties. They help with the financial side when I have difficulties paying the whole bill at the time of my visit. I love how Dr Elyasi has taken care of me. He has never taken advantage by telling me I need unnecessary work. I highly recommend this office.

Have been coming for a couple times now. Each time receptionist was very courteous, and optometrists are very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall very satisfied with their service!

I really dont understand why Glendora Smiles has only 3 stars, Ive been going to this dental office for years and I LOVE IT!! The staff are amazing, the dentists are very knowledgeable and very patient ( especially with me. ; ) !thank you , thank you, thank you for taking care of my mom last week! I have been going to Glendora Smiles for the past year and they have the best dentists and staff at this office. The young lady at the front desk, Sonia, is just simply amazing. She is very attentive and always makes you fell important and welcomed. Highly recommend this office, you will love it there.

This review is long overdue. I just went in for a cleaning and next thing I know I had 2 crowns put in. They try to talk you into the most expensive crowns and when youre at your most vulnerable. Your sitting back in the chair with your mouth wide open and they have you choose the crown. When they put in the temporary crown, it slipped down my throat and I was choking. She lifted my head right away so I wouldnt swallow it. This didnt just happen once but twice. I asked the girl what she would do if I choked on it and her answer was I would do CPR on you WHAT??????The girls were so young and not patient at all. They could not numb my mouth enough and they were getting upset with me, because the dentist couldnt numb me enough to continue.To this day, when I go past this dentist office, I get the chills. Never again will I go to a place that looks like they have a bunch of trainees.The friendliness you experience when they are trying to get you into the office, will disappear when you arrive and sit in the chair.

My husband and I went to Glendora Smiles for the first time. We both are Very Pleased with their service. Dr Lee was very informative about the treatment we would receive and explained why it is needed. Leilani Financial Rep worked with us to make our treatment possible with our budget. Overall the ENTIRE staff was Very Friendly and made our experience a Great one.

Dr Lee and her staff are awesome. She is very thorough and has a gentle touch that makes you feel so comfortable. Im so happy to find my new dentist for life!

My wife and I are patients of the Glendora Smiles location for the past three years. We have experienced nothing but the best care for all of our needs during this period. Dental work included one decaying molar extraction, a needed four unit bridge and a bond procedure to repair a chipped front tooth. The Smiles Dental Plan, much like a dental insurance program helped greatly with the expense of all of our procedures. We highly recommend this office for caring and efficient dental care.

Spent 2 hours here for a cleaning. The hygienist was more interested in upselling services than actually cleaning teeth. After 2 hours, the dentist spoke with me for 3 minutes. The hygienist rinsed my teeth with water for 5 minutes (which they werent even going to do originally, even though thats why I specifically came). My teeth feel cleaner when I brush than when I left the office. I was then told my next visit would be $600. Needless to say I will not be returning and will have to find somewhere else that will actually clean my teeth.

They did great work but they over charged me almost $400 and it took 7 months, several phone calls and lodging a complaint to get it all back. I was very disappointed at how they handled it. They gave a new reason as to why I was over charged everytime I called. My insurance determined that there was no reason and after their own internal audit they finally refunded me. No apology...

Very surprised by the negative reviews. Saw the most wonderful doctor, Dr. Lee. She is funny, sweet, thorough and very knowledgeable. Saw Kat for my cleaning and she was phenomenal. Found my dentist!!!

They have went in my account and taken money 3 times in a row. However they stated it an affiliate department but it continues to happen. I really like the staff there but they affiliate business is ruin their name and credibility. On top off that the so call affiliate company waiting message continues to play a christian message while you are waiting stating We are a honest company BS.

I never get the help I need from the office staff. I have requested a preauthorization for my daughters root canal for 6 months and still nothing. This is only 1 of many issues with their office. Dentists are great but unfortunately effective today we will be finding a new dental/orthodontist office.

Recently, I was a patient at Glendora Smiles for the first time. The staff was very friendly and my appointment started on time. First I got my cleaning done by Kat (hygienist), who was very thorough but gentle. Dwayne got the X-rays done and Dr. Reguly examed me and took care of a cavity with no issues. I am very pleased with the service and friendly staff. Keep up the good work.

I had an awful toothache that my previous dentist could not figure out why it was hurting. Dr. Lee took a look at it and at once told me what was wrong with it. Within a few hours, pain was GONE. I had suffered for over 2 months. And did I mention how sweet she is!! Her whole team is wonderful and the process was so easy!! I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs!

Kat and Dr. Elyassi are great, very friendly. Been a patient since 2010 and all my family has had our work here. All compliments. My son also had his ortho work there. Reasonable price. Great job all!

They are very nice, but very bad at what they do. My mouth didnt hurt at all before I went in for a check up. They then said I had a cavity that could turn into a root canal, they showed me the X-ray pointed to an indivisible line called it a horrible cavity and said better get it taken care of now! So they shaved my tooth down and put a cover over it. Funny thing is the tooth that NEVER hurt before now has been hurting on an off for months, when I called they told me it was just settling! I say they just wanted to make as much money as they could off of me. They even tried to trick me into getting the most expensive filling multiple times because I didnt have my parents with me. Im switching to a dentist that wont rip me off.

Do not go to Glendora Smiles.I went to Glendora Smiles and they ripped us off and they put a crown on one tooth that never gave me any problems and it has hurt ever since I got the crown on, then they put a filling on the other side. I just went to another dentist because that filling fell out and the new dentist told me that the crown is too tall so I put too much pressure on it when I chew and that is why it hurts and it is pushing up against my surrounding teeth and caused another cavity. Then she told me the filling they put in created a cavity underneath and caused that tooth to rot and now I have to have a root canal done. All in all Glendora Smiles costed me $1,500 just in reparative work. Don’t give them your business, they will only cost you more money and pain in the long run.

This office is great. They have all the specialist in the office which is very helpful with my busy schedule. The staff and Drs are very friendly and take in consideration all my concerns both financially and my extreme fears. Love this place....wouldnt recommend any other. I have been going to Glendora Smiles for four years. They do good work and the facility is clean, BUT they are big on up-selling their special procedures that are good, but very spendy. I have learned to ask to speak directly to the dentist, explain to him my financial situation, and have him tell me the absolute basic that will work to fix the situation and then prioritize them. I have been to many dentists and found that up-selling is becoming more common as the insurance companies really dont pay the dentist well. You just have to be informed and persistant now a days.

I was treated rudely because i did not except there plan which my dental insurance did not cover. After i had my tooth extracted they gave me a sheet of paper that has a ton of gray area in their directions. So i called back and the lady who runs the insurance for the patients answers the phone and puts me on hold without asking me to please wait, i was transferred to another lady and the one who answered is in the background laughing and saying i dont know how to follow directions cause they gave me a paper, yeah they gave me a paper that leaves you with alot of unanswered questions. Then i call back the following day to ask information about a dry socket and they asked me to hold but then hung up the phone. The x-ray tech was nice the dentist the oral surgeon and even the oral surgeons assistant was nice but the ladies who run the front desk are some of the worst customer service providers ever. Extremely rude and wear their emotions towards you on their faces(rolling their eyes and sighing and giving dirty looks). By far the worst dental experience i have ever recieved. I am a veteran, shows how unpatriotic the united states has become. A proud city like Glendora CA allows trashy disrespectful businesses like this one into their community, how shameful is that looks like Glendora isnt that patriotic after all. Look at all these horrible reviews.

I have gone back 6 times to get my two root canals done. My temporary crowns have fallen off within 24 hours.. time to look for a new dentist.

BIG ON UP-SELLING THEIR SPECIAL PROCEDURES Went in for a massive tooth pain that ended me in the ER during the weekend, A BUREAUCRATIC MONEY FACTORY once I got here they said they will have to pull the tooth out and will like to do other things to the rest of my teeth as well. SQUEEZE AS MUCH MONEY OUT OF YOU They said if I get their special procedures done that my insurance doesnt cover they will give me some discount, but if I choose to go with what my insurance covers only, I will not get a discount on the procedure they want to do with me. JUST TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY Once I said I will go with my insurance, they said I will first have to pay for the removal of the tooth that was giving me pain, so I paid. TAKES FOREVER Once they got paid for that, they said they will not be able to remove my painful tooth till a few days later, cause its not convenient for them to call the surgeon to come in to extract my painful problem. ONLY AFTER MONEY AND PUT THE CARE OF PATIENTS AS A LOW PRIORITY If that was the case, they should of said that before they asked me to pay so I could of gone somewhere else that would have done the job to relieve me of my pain that day, instead of waiting more days. WORST SERVICE EVER! Great dentist and all staff love this place

My 80 year old mom had work done to get dentures and they ripped her off. The never delivered her denture and left her with a temporary. She also had her mouth scalded with some chemical and now she cant eat. Worst dentist ever. Do not use them!
