This is the place that you have to go for your orthopedic needs. I had a great experience with the staff, nurses and doctor Sevag. Clean, quiet and very professional place.I would say this is my best experience ever with medical office and doctor.It started with my sudden back pain. I did a quick search and find a lot of good reviews about Dr. Sevag. As you probably know, appointments are usually given in a month if you are lucky, but this place was different. I asked for an emergency appointment and the receptionist was kind enough to understand my situation and squeeze me between appointments. Upon my arrival, Nurse check me in an did a x-ray in the office and after a minute or so doctor Sevag came and he carefully listened to my problems and then he explained from X-ray what is my issue and what are the treatments.I got a shot to ease my pain and shorten my recovery time. Also they give me a back braces and a exercise booklet.I am so happy for my visit and I am recommending Dr Sevag Bastian.Thank you Dr and staff for helping me.God bless you all.A.G

I had hip replacement surgery July 23, 2021. I immediately felt a world of difference. From chronic pain to a different type of pain from healing - mild in comparison. I am almost completely without pain now! Dr Bastian and his entire office of professionals took care of me and they can take care of you too! If you suffer from any kind of joint pain, go to Dr Bastian!

Every visit has been a good experience. Dr Bastion and the office staff are kind and considerate people who treat you like a guest and not a number. He is excellent at listening and answering my many questions. He’s also funny which helped ease my anxiety when I was about to get some shots. The shots didn’t hurt and he gave them so fast with precision. What makes Dr Bastion a preferred doctor is he gets back to my questions and concerns immediately and that is hard to find.

I broke my ankle and the staff and Dr Bastian have been amazing. My surgery was done timely and with professional staff. The medical team said it went perfectly, and I am now in recovery. They have their own PT clinic that I started with as well, and the staff there was great.

Doctor Bastian is one of the best doctors I have visited. After visiting multiple orthopedic surgeon doctors none of them figured out what was wrong with my shoulder and hand. I was run over by a car at a pedestrian crossing this past November and ended up with a broken femur bone. I was rushed to the Glendale Adventist Hospital. Doctor Bastian was the surgeon who operated on my shattered femur bone. I am two months into my recovery and the results are fabulous. Dr Bastian did am amazing job of fixing my broken bone. He is highly skilled. However, just as important was the overall care, daily follow up and compassion he showed in his regular visits to make sure that I was both physically and mentally recovering. He always took the extra time to explain what was going on and what to expect and also report on my progress. He had great communication with other treating doctors and nurses about my condition. He had outstanding bedside manners and a sense of humor. Quite frankly I looked forward to his daily visits. I am 62 years old and have used the services of many doctors over the years but none was as caring as him. I highly recommend Dr Bastian for any orthopedic services.

I was on the verge of losing the mobility of my index finger before Dr. Bastian took me under his medical care. He was able to realign my bones & in turn I luckily get to avoid surgery! If you get to meet him first hand you will quickly see how much he cares about his patients.

I recently had questions regarding my mothers Trimalleolar ankle fracture after viewing her x rays he gave his recommendation on how she should go about the procedure and what it entails. I just had the opportunity to see Dr Bastian for my ankle injury. Myself being a physician makes me a particularly tough critic when it comes to other doctors, but Dr Bastian was superb. The word physician means teacher, and the way Dr Bastian not only taught me, but showed me in real live fluoroscopy what was happening with my ankle was incredible. Dr. Sevag bastian is a very knowledgeable doctor and nice person. The staff and their system is great. Despite of other doctors offices you dont have to wait a lot. They are very friendly and Dr. Sevag before make sure about any problem you have doesnt send you for different tests that will cost you a lot and will not have any helpful results.

Dr. Sevag Bastian is one of the most humble, highly educated and experienced clinicians I have ever met.....(considering that I work in healthcare and have met and dealt with thousands.)Last Wednesday morning, during work, my father lost his balance and fell from a ladder, fracturing his right elbow. The paramedics rushed him to the nearest hospital, which happened to be West Hills Medical Center. After a few hours of waiting to be seen, a Nurse Practitioner finally evaluated him, poorly stitched his lacerations, and discharged him from the hospital. He was asked to see an orthopedic surgeon at his earliest convenience.Since he does NOT have the best health insurance, his PCP referred us to Dr. Jonathan Oheb, an orthopedic surgeon in Encino. We were given an appointment the same day, since my father had sustained an open fracture. Anyway, Dr. Oheb removed the splint and assessed his elbow. He immediately, without hesitation, handed me an order to get my dad admitted to the nearest hospital for surgery. He explained that the injury was more severe than he expected, and there was high risk for infection.Once we left Dr. Oheb’s office, I drove straight to Glendale Adventist, which is close to my residence, and got my dad admitted. I researched the names of all orthopedic surgeons who render services at that hospital and came across Dr. Sevag Bastian’s name. I asked to see if he could possibly perform my father’s emergency surgery. HE ACCEPTED! I was so upset that we had to go through the back and forth but once I found out that Dr. Bastian can operate on my dad, I was relieved. Dr. Bastian explained to us, in detail, the entire process and what needed to be done to my fathers elbow. He answered all of my questions patiently and reassured us that the surgery would go smoothly. My father underwent the surgery the next afternoon. Unfortunately, given the COVID circumstances, I was not able to visit my dad but Dr. Bastian personally called me after the surgery to give me a status update. I was amazed and couldn’t believe his approach and dedication to patient care. He checked up on my dad upon recovery to make sure everything was A-okay! The following day, my dad was discharged. We are scheduled to see Dr. Bastian on Wednesday for his first post-op visit. I’ll check back in to discuss how that goes....BUT in the meantime, I had to write this review and express our gratitude to Dr. Bastian. My dad is in the automotive industry and the functionality of his arms are crucial in his line of work. He’s basically a car surgeon. Haha! I am so beyond thankful that I came across Dr. Bastian’s name. He is seriously an orthopedic GOD! He helped us in every way, from admit to discharge, my dad was in great hands.Thank you, Sevag for your attention and willingness to help my father. We are pleased with your efforts. I highly AND undoubtedly recommend Dr. Sevag Bastian for ANY & ALL orthopedic needs.P.s. I would love to post some photos of this injury but they’re too graphic. Lol. Dr. Bastian is an angle with a sense of humor and sympathy that it is very hard to find these days almost in all fields including medicine. I had an injury on my hand and went to him, I was worried and did not know what would happen to my numb ring finger. Dr. Bastian evaluated my injury and told me that I will be fine in few mounts. He did not take advantage of my desperate situation and He did not do any unnecessary treatments or diagnosis that most called Doctors would do to make somewhat more money.This was on April 8 2019 and today I feel my finger totally and its normal as Dr. Bastian diagnosed. I still need to go in person and appreciate his help and I am glad that I have found a Doctor that is knowledgeable and simply cares for his patients. Thank you Dr. Bastian.
