One star for customer service. I just started going to this practice with my husband and we like our doctors and the front office staff and medical assistants are nice and friendly. The bad review comes from the fact that you can never reach the office directly over the phone. You have to go through a call center that is clearly outsourced and none of the representatives have any idea what they are doing and won’t transfer you where you need to go. I called once for myself just to find out the lab hours and it turned into a fifteen minute call because the rep had to apparently call the office directly to find out AFTER they make you verify your personal info in length even though it’s a general question that has nothing to do with HIPAA. Makes no sense when the patient could just call the office directly. Then another time my husband received a voicemail from someone at the office and when we tried to call back nobody at the call center knew what it was for. It’s just a time consuming mess and based on the other reviews, they’d be better off taking those calls back in house. We are considering moving to a different office where patient care is the focus and not just trying to save a quick buck with outsourced customer service.Update: Their billing department is also horrible. You wait on hold for an hour or more only to be told they can’t help you. I’ve also tried to follow up on my husbands visit from over a month ago and it’s still not on file with our insurance and they tell you they are looking into it and never call you back.

Avoid this clinic, they are absolutely unorganized and completely inept. Ive been waiting on paperwork to do a simple blood draw for nearly 2 months, and the staff is completely unresponsive and Ive had to reschedule 4times because of their incompetent and passive approach to care.

If I could give this practice a zero I would. I have been a patient for 20 years and am leaving due to the big med office takeover. Visits are too quick and they want to see you for every little thing - it was never this way before. My guess is they want all the co-pays they can get. I have spent over 45 minutes trying to pay a bill (online isnt working) and have been hung up on three times now. I just want to be done with this practice. If you want a practice that truly cares about you- this isnt the place.

My husband and I have been with this office for over 23 years. And have seen the buy-outs change from one hand to another for this medical office. But never in my life have we had the most unprofessional service and quality care that we have experienced. You can no longer speak to anyone directly in the office you need to go through a call center in god knows where, certainly not in our state!! Probably overseas! They do not meet patients needs, they do not have listening skills, they chuckle at your concerns.I have been in customer service for over 32 years and still in customer service and I would never treat my customers the way your staff is conducting business today. You all should be ashamed of yourself!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Mos (Movsesyan) for about 15 years I believe. I followed him from his private practice. Its taking some getting used to, to have to speak with phone service coordinators but to get in touch with his team, they are excellent at returning calls and messages. Dr. Mo is the BEST Dr. I consider him family

Horrible. Dont waste your time. The 1 star I HAVE to give is only for my doctor directly. My doctor is nice but the first time I made an appointment, I had to wait 9 months to see the actual doctor. My prescriptions have been delayed being refilled. Their phone system sends you to a third party who knows nothing. They stopped accepting my insurance without notice; even when I called to make an appt I answered the same old question any changes to your insurance NO. Inquired through the portal directly and they confirmed it was still accepted. I get through my appt to THEN find out they dont accept it. Front desk asks cant you switch your insurance? Its not like switching your shoes! Then says youll have to find a new doctor. Right, because thats easy. Thanks for wasting my time, money and energy. So incredibly frustrating.

I will tell you the people who answer the phone lately are extremely rude! Today I tried to call to make my husband an appt as he is at work and can not do so for himself, the person tried to tell me I have to confirm all my husbands information including his insurance provider and number to make an appt “because of a little thing called HIPAA” I don’t know what this guy thinks he is talking about but HIPAA has nothing to do with making an appt for an existing patient! This office is a joke and if my husband did not have to see a dr I would have hung up! The drs act like they don’t care, the staff are rude, after this we are finding a new family care provider for my self, my husband and my two teens who all she this dr! It’s a joke!

Like the other reviewers have articulated pretty well, this practice is struggling to provide timely, compassionate and coordinated care, based on my experience. I am finally done and will be moving to a new primary care practice. My feeling is you would be better off looking elsewhere too.

This office has been deteriorated ever since the merge with Village Medical. I have been a patient over many years but I am leaving. Patinets no longer able to communicate with the office, doctor , assiant, or anyone competent, all communication must go thru their central phone center or portal, any yet their phone operators and their portal are incompetetent and inefficient. Their portal has not been updated over a year! I spent hours and days on the phone and their portal message, just to make a lab appointment, and to seethe your lab result.

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD. ELLE ROSS is a horrible doctor and is very condescending. She does not deserve to even be called a doctor. She refuses to help you and literally answers everything with Im sorry I cant do that, Im internal medicine. but wont tell you that before the fact. I made an appointment specifically for FMLA and told them that.. and was sent in a huge circle. I was first told that I didnt need an appointment for that so I left work early and went to get it done, when I got there I was told I actually do need an appointment because Elle Ross requires an appointment for that type of thing which was whatever. I scheduled my appointment for my FMLA and the front office girl noted it was for FMLA. Didnt ask any follow up questions or anything. Friday comes(my appointment) and Elle Ross comes in after they took my 40 dollars mind you and says yeah I cant do FMLA... Im internal medicine and I tried explaining that my therapist told me she would be the one I see and that I did a release of information form.. she cuts me off and says yeah Im sure thats what she said but that doesnt matter. She is so rude! She started throwing things in my face and was just being so rude and condescending. I know she practices out of the Walgreens now but I know she is still under Village Medical. She is a horrible doctor and has no idea the damage she did to me and my situation. She should not be allowed to practice. She is terrible and will cause so much damage. Doctors like her are very dangerous!! Dont waste your time!! I will be going to another primary doctor!

Wow this place is terrible! So first off my appointment which was booked out months in advance had to be cancelled twice. On the 3rd time they called to cancel again and I said no way you have to find me an appointment today. So they find one and get me in. They have had my medical insurance on file now for 5 months and ask on the phone if any of that has changed and I say no. So I take off work to go to my appointment and they tell me up front they dont accept my medical insurance and just stopped 2 months ago. So it would have been covered if they had kept the original appointment but now I am back to square one. They were extremely rude too. I would avoid at all costs!

I lost my wallet that had my ID & Insurance card. I figured as much that I wouldn’t be able to go to my appointment since it was my first time, but I decided I’d still try because it was an urgent appointment. The older front desk lady was incredibly rude. I showed her a pic of my ID (that was taken when I was 16) and she looked me dead in the eyes and said “well that sure doesn’t look like you!” I was flabbergasted! Of course my 4 year old ID picture is going to look a little different but who the hell would use a fake ID to go to a dr?! Bad vibes from this office. Glad I was not able to come to my appointment

Thunderbird IM to Summit to Village has been a rocky road. Doctors are leaving the practice in droves along with us patients. What a nightmare. Tis new version, we could call 2x in one day and go through the same exact line of questioning before we can even get to the point of why we are calling! Every single time we call for ANY reason, we are forced to endure at least 2 minutes of confirming patient name, birthdate, address, city state, zip, phone and medical insurance. The original office used to be bustling with busyness but now it is like a morgue.

Dr. Elle Ross is the most rude and disrespectful doctor I have ever encountered. I needed a return to work note. Thats it. And she REFUSED to release me to return to work. I couldnt believe how this so-called lady was speaking to me. She was so rude and condescending. I filed multiple complaints and asked to speak to a manager... Multiple times. No return call. Ever. These people do not care about you.UPDATE. TO DATE I HAVE RECEIVED NO APOLOGY FROM MS. ROSS. I WILL NOT REFER TO HER AS DOCTOR BECAUSE SHE DOESNT DESERVE THE TITLE. VILLAGE MEDICAL TO DATE HAS INFORMED ME THAT ANY CONSEQUENCES HAVE BEEN IMPOSED ON MS. ROSS.ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DOCTOR EVER. RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL AND DID NOTHING TO HELP ME.

I have been a patient at this office over 20 years, have 38 years as an RN and hold a Masters degree in nursing/electronic health record emphasis. Patients have healthcare choice and the clear choice here is no. Where do I begin? You cannot call your doctors office directly EVER. Your call goes to a call center Houston or Chicago and you will NEVER be transferred to your local doctors office. There is no number to call your local office. You are forced to leave a message with a nameless, faceless person in Houston or Chicago to have someone/anyone call you back and you will wait at least 24 hours if not longer to get a return call. No last names, phone extensions or even a location or last name initial are provided EVER when you ask for them. This enables Village Medical staff to avoid accountability. The two physicians I have seen over the past 10 years are not courteous but the stress of working for the Village Medical machine is surely quite high resulting in condescension toward patients. This is a company that will hide/cover up and bury mistakes it is that bereft of customer service, accountability, common sense and respectful treatment of patients. There is no transparency. They have all your info but you, the patient, cannot stand in your doctors office and request to speak to anyone ANYONE (a supervisor for example) and have that need met. There is ZERO accountability, customer service or service recovery at Village Medical. Furthermore, the electronic health record is not good which invariably contributes to unsafe and error laden healthcare. You notice this in your virtual visits when the provider cannot ever answer simple questions such as when was my last xxxxx? Village Medical promotes virtual visits over in-office visits. I was prescribed antibiotics for an external face infection without ANY vital signs or the doctor even being able to see the orange sized red, warm, swollen area on my cheek. Nevertheless, I received an antibiotic and a referral to an ENT. They offered to do a virtual physical exam with no vital signs and no direct examination such as abdomen and lungs and said they would just mark all that deferred. Village Medical does not offer or promote quality health care. After 20 years and 3 owners over the last 5 years it is way past time to leave this organization which I am doing as I write this. With Village Medical at the helm, your healthcare reaches new lows and quality and accountability are nonexistent. Its very sad and with a heavy heart that I write this. I dont want to find a new doctor and office but Village Medical purchasing my doctors office leaves me with no other option. My best advice is find somewhere, anywhere else but Village Medical to get your primary care and other medical needs met. Your healthcare needs will not be met here.

I have 5 complaints.(My elderly mother has been going to this office for more than 10 years.)The lab specifically told my elderly mother that she needed to take home a stool test kit before she leaves as they dangled it in her face. They then placed it down on the opposite side their computer away from my mother. My mother went to the restroom to leave a urine sample. My mother then sat down next to the computer to get her blood drawn. They drew her blood, DID NOT give her the stool kit and told her to have a nice day. We were in the local area for 2 hours after her appointment and no one ever called us to tell us that the kit was still at their office. My sister-in-law went to their office the next day to pick up the kit and the front office said there is no order for a stool kit. So they never gave it to her.I called the office manager to speak to her about these issues and she never called me back. After going back to the office a 3rd time to obtain the stool test kit. I called a few weeks later to make sure the office was open during lunch so that I could drop off my elderly mothers kit for testing. The call center said the lab was open and I could drop it off. However my brother went to drop it off for me since I was up all night with my elderly mother who has been sick. And the front office said he couldnt drop it off because he didnt have an appointment to do so. How do you make an appointment to make a bowel movement?! They also said that he couldnt drop it off because his name is not on my mothers consent form. And that only I could drop it off. Mind you I havent slept all night and i am not in any condition to drive. And Im trying to catch up on sleep. Also my brothers name is on my mothers consent form!My brother asked the girl at the front desk 3 times if she needed to see his ID so that he could drop off the stool test that he had in his hands in a bag and she just ignored him. He then called me to tell me what was going on. I told him to let me speak to her and she wouldnt speak to me. He said she took the bag and put it under her desk and said she would take care of it. I told him to please tell her one of the 3 test kits needs to be in the freezer. My brother is at the office now waiting to see if the lab will receive it soon. He said he will wait there to make sure but he isnt sure if they will make him leave. This office creates added stress to their patients and the patients caregivers.

Dr. Felix has been the primary caregiver for my wife and I for the past 9 years. She’s bright, personable, professional, knowledgeable, caring, and probably 14 more excellent adjectives. Why the poor rating? Because it isn’t just the visit, it is the full experience and Village Medical’s billing team doesn’t understand the basics of their job like ‘preventative’ vs ‘diagnostic’ for billing and the customer service is atrocious.Nov 13, 2020 Annual PhysicalReceived notification from insurance early Dec which looked wrong.Call 1 in early Dec. Explained they billed as diagnostic, asked them to resubmit as preventative. Rude, condescending Billing person tried to say we don’t understand our insurance that deductible hasn’t been met. We tried to explain there’s no deductible, preventative is covered 100%. No success, person didn’t seem to have basic comprehension of medical insurance terms like preventative and diagnostic.Call 2 same day to Aenta, who confirmed it was coded diagnostic and said they’d reach out to ask for it to be resubmitted.Dec 21, 2020. Email & Voicemail that my bill was due.Call 3 on or shortly after Dec 21. Billing, got a more helpful person who seemed to understand the basics of medical billing terminology but said she couldn’t resubmit or fix it. Said she would email supervisor—wouldn’t transfer us to speak—and request we get a call back, either confirmation resubmitted or to discuss.Call 4 about a week after Call 3. Dr. Felix medical assistant, who’s been fabulous over the years with Rx refills and other misc assistance. Explained our frustration with Billing. Asked if she could help us get in touch with someone who could assist.Email on Jan 26 received from no-reply address, informing that the insurance has paid their part and that the balance that’s left is “your responsibility”.Call 5 on Jan 26, 2021 requested that Dr Felix be notified that we appreciate the 9 years of care but that the billing issues are too much, we’ll both be leaving the practice. Sincerely wanted to thank her for all she’s done for us.Call 6, incoming from Dr Felix medical assistant on Jan 27th. She listened to the concerns, understood the frustration, apologized, and indicated she would follow-up to help get it resolved.Jan 27th & 28th received 3x robo-calls from automated line stating that the statement was ready / bill was due, please log-on to patient portal to pay.We aren’t leaving over the $151 bill—which our insurance will pay in full if resubmitted with preventative coding as requested multiple times—we’re leaving because the billing department of Village medical seems to be incompetent, and refuses to let us speak with someone who can actually resolve our issue. If Dr. Felix leaves Village Medical, highly recommend her, but—as great as she is—2 months of billing nonsense is not worth it so recommend looking at any non-Village Medical practices.
