Had a great experience here yesterday, much better than the last time I visited over a year ago. The front staff actually said hello and greeted me, where at other 24s they like to do everything to not say hello to you. The place seemed really clean for a 24 as well. I’m still disappointed with the cardio equipment and setup, but the weight room upstairs is clean and spacious.

The manager stares at you when you are working out like you owe him money. Rude staff!

Terrible service guy at the counter was rude and not helpful, told us to find another gym! I have been a yearly member for over 5 years and my roommate wanted to try (which i saw a sign at the pasadena 24 for free 1 week try out) and he completely denied us and now we are on our way to Pasadena. We called ahead they are very nice and where willing to explain our options. Also parking is expensive.

The location is nice but the staff at the front desk arent good at their jobs, I mean as of writing LA county has an indoor mask mandate, they let anyone come off the streets maskless here, the staff is more interested in socializing.

Arpi, the front desk guy is extremely rude and unhelpful. In the middle of conversation he just put down the receiver without hanging up but not responding. That’s the worst experience I had in gyms

Great gym i like they have variety of machines but i just dont like the fact since they are remodeling the womens locker rooms we are allowed to use the executive lockers to change but we cant even use the lockers to put our stuff and we are forced to go down stairs to where the pool is at and use those lockers on top that the men there in the pool area are always staring at women its uncomfortable 😣 and disturbing ... Why cant we have access to the executive lockers thats why Im paying money for its not our fault they are remodeling the restrooms...

Dnt drive here and park in structure. They will charge you the entire time there even when ticket has been validated. Bitchy attendants that scoff at you when made aware of situation. Total scam joint from set up to close they position signage so hard to see that they dont honor validations and there is no way out without paying full price 1.50 $, every 15 min, if you accidentally turn in or decide to not park there even if lot is full.

You have to reserve a time to go to the gym to work out for an hour, and if you want to cancel the time they want you to do it an hour ahead. But they dont even have the courtesy to let you know theyre not going to be ready at that time. Its been 30 minutes and there are about 30 people waiting outside with nobody to tell us whats going on.

This place is awesome!! Never overly crowded. Has all the necessary equipment that you need to get a great workout in. The ladies at the front desk are amazing. Always courteous, professional, and pleasant. I would recommend this gym if youre in the area and need a great workout.

I come to this gym because its the closest to my neighborhood. Front desk isnt very welcoming, which usually isnt a problem because Im there to workout. I came this morning with my brother who is not a member but had a guest pass and they refused to let us work out. Apparently their manager had said no guest passes that day for whatever odd reason. There is another 24 down the street, not sure if its the same franchise owner but the people working there are much brighter and welcoming.

Why is it 24 hour when it’s not running 24 hour?

Ever since they raised prices the service got worse. I called multiple times to ask why they raised prices. Apparently its for better service and better equipment? Havent seen either. The paper towel dispenser hardly has stocked or disinfectant spray. This is why i pay $50 extra annually. I have to go out of my way to remind them to do their job

Has everything I need, most of the time in the afternoon is good to go. Summer time is here now so its a bit more packed what seems like all day but nothing too crazy. Love this gym.

Unfortunately this place is taking a down fall. Very filthy, lots of equipment in a very poor condition. Don’t waste your money. Management is very careless. They literally don’t care.

I had a 3 day pass, and after 2 days of positive experiences attending the Burbank location, I was ready to sign up. My boyfriend (who is a member already) wanted to play racket ball, so we decided to go to the Glendale location instead of Burbank. Big mistake. Very rude person at the front desk who refused to let me in despite the pass saying its good at ANY 24 Hour Fitness. They said it was because I was not local even though I live in Burbank. Of course, they demanded I sign up at this gym immediately in order to get in. I believe that not only this man treating customers poorly, but was also refusing to comply with the advwrtiaed language of the 24 Hour Fitness guest pass in order to force people to sign up and gain sales or commission. Ironically, if he had provided even passable service and had let me use the gym, I would have signed up. After this experience, Im not signing up with 24 hour fitness at all. This rude front desk person not only lost the company a member, but left a lasting negative impression that supersedes the days of positive at Burbank.

The pool/jacuzzi/steaming room/sauna area in horrendous need. The sauna and steaming room have been under construction and shut for the last 3 months and there have not been any construction crew on site for a long time. Members collectively complained about the low water level in the jacuzzi just recently. The water level was not high enough for the water to make it into the filtration system and it had started to build a mold type odor. The shower heads are constantly broken or the water pressure is low. The pool is not being kept clean, you would be surprised what you see floating around in the water. There is no tumbler for your swim suit in the bathroom and they have stopped putting up plastic bags to place your wet swim suits in to take home. The showers are constantly out of soap. There is a mountain of towels collecting in the bathroom, while the reception upstairs is out of towels. You feel as though none of the staff is willing to come downstairs to the spa section to check out what is needed. They are best served keeping social upstairs. Update: Finally gave up swimming in the pool after catching an ear infection.

I am really thankful to the whole team of this gym for guiding me to achieve my fitness goals. I love spending time in this gym.

Well maintained gym. Free weights area is good sized though wish it was a bit bitter and had more benches. Locker rooms are good too no complaints really.

Its not Ok place any longer, would give them one star if tlwasnt for them I lost weight years ago. They need to upgrade or sell the place

I would say 70% of the people there are just working out too but there are definitely some weird guys here that dont respectful personal space. I wont even be there an hour and I will have 5 guys sit right next to me when the place isnt even that busy. Also maybe get a lounging section cause it seems like a lot of guys just like to hang out on the equipment like they are sitting at home. Overall the hygiene doesnt seem too bad but a girl I work with would tell me horror stories about this place which made it worse.

Always clean. The front desk employees are super friendly and polite, and always greet.They have the best trainers, and the club manager is very helpful.The members should feel responsible enough, to maintain the club clean, and in order.

I registered last month but for some reason I was not able to attend. I paid $109.47 for registration. I called to cancel my account, they offered to freeze my account for $10 per month. I ended up paying $120.47 with the total refund of $5.33. I get no chance to go to the gym even once. I hope they understand their clients situation better.

For the most part the people that work out here are super chill and easy to approach if you want to use a rack or machine after them. But they do have a healthy amount of equipment so thats not too much of an issue.50 cents I dont think is too much to pay for parking but if youre working out for longer than they cover you for it does go up so I would recommend parking in the street and walking in which shouldnt be too far of a walk. Theres a couple areas to park within a block or less.4 stars because some of the staff has been a little rude to me on occasion when I first started coming here. Who knows maybe they were just having a bad day.Some of the staff has also been really nice to me which I appreciate and this happens most of the time.Overall I really like this gym

The manager here is the worst Ive ever seen. I use to have 24 hour fitness for 3 years before switching over to la fitness because 24 hour raised my rate by 2 dollars while none of my friends who were members rates changed at all. So I decide to go back for a day on a free 3 day trial and maybe become a member again if my rate is fair but the manager said they werent honoring 3 day passes today.. I called corporate and they said what the manager said to me was not true. Hell say anything to try and sign you up.

Competitive basketball games but sometimes the wait is very long. Almost 3-5 games at times! Good competition, kids are shooting way behind the line nowadays!!!!

Gym is crowded, not a lot of weight so you almost always have to wait. Trainers are rude and very much about that money, not really about fitness. GM is rude, looks good on the outside but ultimately disappoints.

The equipment is old, but that would be fine if it did not smell SO bad. (I get that it’s a gym and people are sweaty but I’ve NEVER been to a gym that smelt so dirty.) A bunch of people suggested I try 24 so I went with an open mind, but I’m definitely turned off.

I workout, get what I need, and also have towels upon arrival. If anyone needs anything else, Id be hard pressed to rate them lower because Im sure what they need is out of the norm. The facilities are clean and doesnt seem to be over crowded yet I only visit from 1 pm to 4 pm. Had issues with signing up in the first place but managers were really helpful and compensated for the inconvenience. Overall, great experience so far.

Bigger gym with many amenities, hours are restricted because its in a corporate building. Parking is subpart, even with validation, expect to pay something if you work out or are there for more than an hour. Cleanliness could be better

I think people are confusing this one with the one down the street from it. This gym is nice. Cardio equipment is always working. The staff is friendly and helpful. I dont find it to be too dirty. Its a gym people, not a tea parlour. Things are going to have sweat on it.....get over it. I would say that I often have to go looking for free weights and that area could be better organized. But other than that. It good workout experience.

Tired of being harassed by management for working out with my friend. Im in better shape then he is and know more about lifting so I help with suggestions on form and stuff. We spot each other, we work out set for set, but I get harassed at least once a week for training my client. Makes for a very unpleasant experience.

Im not sure what gym this was before 24 Hour Fitness acquired it, but it seems as though they kept their equipment. What Im saying is: the equipment is OLD, most of which has really worn down and I will never use.Ive had my issues in the past, but yesterday I couldnt stand it: both downstairs and upstairs smelled horribly. The weight section upstairs particularly smelled like mildew.This is the only gym where, on more than one occasion, they have been out of towels. I can forgive the first couple of times, but yesterday I went through an hour long cardio session with no towel and it was embarrassing to drip all over equipment. Theres only so much paper towels can do.Freeweights are often missing. Racks and plates are mismatched. It doesnt help that a big portion of the constituents at this gym dont care to re-rack anything. I often feel like Im setting an example when I re-rack weights Ive used.Heres a pro: they have a big grass section where you can perform a multitude of exercises and a readily available TRX setup.Parking sucks too, but hey, thats Glendale for you.Overall this gym is in desperate need of new equipment and deep-clean. Not sure who is managing this one, but this is supposed to be a Super Sport. In comparison with new 24 Hour Fitness gyms, this one is shameful.

Looking to join a different gym. Printed out a 3 day pass online went to the gym Sat Feb 17th at 2:45 pm. The front desk girl was nice and I told her I had been a member of another 24 fitness 2 years ago and currently a member of Equinox but I wanted to try this club. She went and got a Salesperson named Tim. Tim walked up to me and the first thing he said without even saying Hello, was if you were a member here you cant use that pass. I left immediately and will never come back to this gym. Tim provided the worst customer experience Ive had in a long time and just wanted to hard close me like he was some really good salesperson. Tim could not close a door.

Its nice but it can get crowded. Basketball only good in the morning. Too many high school kids arguing about score in the afternoon. Parking is atrocious, by far the worst part of this gym is the parking situationEdit October 2019: they recently stoped giving out towels. I would not recommend this gym anymore.

Use to be a great clean gym but they really lack on cleanliness and they always run out of towels. Compared to Burbank super sport and North Hollywood I have never had an issue with them. And as the picture shows they say they ran out of towels but they clearly have some so just getting lazy. Very dissapointed

The locker room (for the ladies) is like a high school locker. Its poorly maintained, smells bad, has old tiles, badly closing doors, the sanitary dispensers are rarely cleaned out... The place gets cleaned on a very infrequent basis during the day which is evident by the checklist on the door.Their pool area is much the same - no dryers or even a centrifugal machine to dry out wet swimsuits. Theres broken tile with a maintenance sign over it for safety thats been there over 2 months. The elevator to the pool area has been down for over a month.The cardio machine area has older machines and the worst air conditioning around. They have one floor fan and one mounted wall fan in the front to try to fix it but it does nothing.Its a shame because its a high end building in a nice part of town and convenient to a lot of peoples works. MAYBE their Executive Locker Room is nicer, I dont know. I also wish they had wifi but what can you do, thats the least of my complaints about this place.

-Sub-average place to workout-overall quality is lacking from other gyms ive been visited (hermosa beach, arcadia, northridge, ontario, etc)

Staff is immature and lazy. They love to talk to one another and give the impression that they are important within their organization. They never clean and attend to their jobs as much as they need to. They love to gossip about members that they do not even know personally. Total fail.

Im always in the cardio area, and the equipment is pretty much always up and running. Their maintenance guy is pretty consistently out there checking on machines, and maintaining the equipment.

Its a nice to work out sucks that it closes at 11 pm due to building not owned by 24 hour fitness

Here goes... one mans opinion, formed over many visits and many conversations...ABSOLUTELY Horrible, dirty, disgusting = pool + sauna + locker rooms. Just look at the freaking ugly as sin tile on the walls or the bugs lounging on said walls, then dare tell me where our money goes!?!?... Not to improvements!!!. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. I cannot say enough negative yet truthful things about this location. Worse, when you raise these concerns with staff, they ALL agree, then blame corporate, suggesting we COMPLAIN as the best and ONLY course of action. Staff says they inform corporate, yet NOTHING gets done, and it shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Unacceptable.Lets organize a BOYCOTT until they ACT.Said areas ALL need serious help ASAP!!!. The spa is DISGUSTING the sauna is WORSE, the steam room is FILTHY, just like the locker room and the restrooms, (namely the bugs on the walls and the cockroaches on the floors!!!) Excuse = No money for cleaning crew (per staff at front desk)...knowing my concerns are totally valid and common.the cherry on top = just look at the UGLY tile on the walls of said areas, its PUTRID!!! SAD BUT TRUE.Dear City of Glendale, send health inspectors and shut this place down. #ASAP. This facility may pass inspection in India, sure, but not GLENDALE. #shapeUp_or_shipOut

Im quite disappointed in the cleanliness of the center. The smell is disgusting from the minute you enter the building, and the floors in the group exercise rooms are filthy, the same dust bunnies float around forever with the same stains. No one ever cleans after themselves on the machines. Overall the place is an incubator for infection. Describe your experience

Do not try to get a membership from an 24fitnes because they dont have a trained employees and they never gonna explain you about policy they have!!$34.99 per month with 2 years contract this is what they advertise say BUT its a $34.99 annual fee and they charge me 3 months after my contract due date and i cant get my money back WHY just check the picture

While the fitness rooms and personnel are awesome upstairs, it is not true that the childrens area does any physical activity with the kids. They just sit and watch tv....and I am not one to like that much. I actually expected there to be some kind of system of excercises planned for the kids, as the website announces. But all they have is the recreational slide. Then I realized the personnel in charge has no specific studies in childhood ed nor phys ed. No wonder, they are just regular baby-sitters. I would like this area to be age-appropriately dynamic, lead by children trainers that motivate kids to gain interest in doing excercise and moving!

A disgrace to any gym. In fact the word gym or fitness center and this discussing playground are oxymorons. Completely mismanaged without any rules and etiquette. Most of the time, more than half the weights are on the floor and none are ever in their proper place. Some of the weights are nowhere to be found and pieces of equipment such as bars have gone missing for weeks. Bathrooms are super filthy and the toilets overflowing at times. Members sometimes vandalize the facility in retaliation. Equipment is NEVER cleaned and even most basic maintenance is never done. Paper towels holders sometimes stay empty for days. Ive had multiple discussion with the Club Manager and his excuse for not enforcing ANY of the gym rules and the chaos Ive described is that he has had his life threatened by noncompliant member and he is not sufficiently funded by the corporation to hire adequate staff. This is not only a very naive and childish excuse, but an insult to the Glendale Police Department and disrespect to the residents of the City of Glendale who are well-aware that anyone threatening would find themselves confronted by the police within minutes. This is clearly sign of lack of self-confidence as well as lack of motivation and skills to manage a fitness center. It also shows that the corporation is so greedy that they lower their standards for a few dollars as no member has ever had their membership suspended. There are often 3 staff members folding towels and checking-in members at the front desk as if towel service can make up for negligence or help members reach their fitness goals. Ive also shared my concern that members may become injured by tripping over the weights and equipment that roam the floors. His response has been that he would deal with that situation once it happens. Ironically he also mentioned that 24 Hour Fitness has very deep pockets and big attorneys and an injured member would likely not receive much compensation. This clearly proves that a health club that does not care about the safety of its members and preventing injuries cannot possibly care about their fitness goals and health. All their slogans are just bogus sales pitches to sell membership and load their pockets with more money. The trainers are super obnoxious, antisocial, and very arrogant. They never make eye contact or greet members and they neither teach gym etiquette to their clients, nor do they enforce it. The turnover rate of the staff speaks volumes. Sadly Ive been a member for over 12 years and have watched this place go from a nice fitness center to a dump managed by people who wouldnt qualify to pick up your trash. There is no excuse other than this is norm for the low standard of 24 hour Fitness, where people in suits, sitting behind desks in remote places earn bonuses without ever setting foot in the dump that they are supposedly managing. Their evaluation is solely based on numbers. Still awaiting call from district manager whom Ive attempted to reach several times.

Equipments outdated, service here is terrible. No one greets you when you walk in, everyones always on their phone. CM is never there. Went to freeze my account but was told only the CM could that. 2 weeks later i get charged and that the CM is still out. Lazy staff.

The gym always has multiple staff members. They are very nice and helpful, but the gym is unkept. Spay bottles are empty, paper towels low or empty, tissue paper on the floors and lon machines. Pool is nasty almost slimy. Definitely disappointed at myself for not using the pass before I purchased the membership. Fyi, the gym is always stuffy, no air circulation, making my decision to go unpleasant. No air/ac...not nice when the gym is always full of sweating people.

Ive been a member for many years and in my opinion, this club will most likely follow the trajectory of Ballys Fitness. Frequently out of clean towels while the dirty towel bins are overflowing. I noticed a chewed piece of gum on the shoulder press, went out of town for Thanksgiving, when I returned the same piece of gum was in the exact same spot--two weeks later. When I request a clean towel, the front desk crew usually places blame on someone, or something else, almost in a combative manner. Im currently looking for another club in the area.

The employees r super rude and didnt let me activate my guest pass because i went to the bathroom without a membership. i 1000% dont reccomment this specific location. the one in Northridge is very friendly and nice.

Good enough gym equipment, but dirty and disorganized af. This is the only 24 in the area that actually closes from 11pm, to 5am... and they still cant clean or rerack the weights. Thats a shame

Basketball court and friends are the only thing keeping me at this gym otherwise it needs updates for the price we pay compared to the other newer gyms around. The court floor is old and needs to be replaced minus 1 star. AND ALSO ITS NOT OPEN 24 HOURS! Minus another star for that.

Most unorganized gym, smells bad, never have towels available. I canceled my membership because of this gym and joined LA fitness.

I would have to agree with the comments about the most unorganized gym I have ever been to. the weight room looked like a childs bedroom with toys thrown all over the place. Ive never seen a more disorganized dumbbell setup. I cant believe I upgraded for this experience. If I was the manager I would be ashamed.

This place is big enough for exercise but always SMELLS HORRIBLE.MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO DO SOME THINK.

Friendly neighbors yell, give dirty looks and sometimes throw garbage at you for parking in their neighborhood. There is a parking garage for the gym but it costs $ even with validation.
