I had Dr. Cornell several years back when I was a young female. Routine visits were always fine. However, when it came to a breast exam, he spent too much time in that area and I was extremely uncomfortable with that experience for weeks following the exam. It was also unnerving to have that exam with no other female witness in the room. Had a witness been in the room, I would have felt more comfortable.

Staff and doctors are always courteous and friendly. Weve been coming for over a decade and loved every doctor we met. Theres plenty of parking too.

I recently started going to Dr. James Cornell for my annual physical exams. The staff is very friendly, clean office, and the doctor is professional. On my most recent visit, I went in for a physical. As the exam was in process, he was started to examine my breasts. After a few minutes I started to feel uncomfortable because I felt like Dr. Cornell was overdoing the examination. It felt like he was fondling and felt quite long for what a breast exam shouldnt take more than 5 minutes. Also, when any kind of female exam is process there should be a female nurse present. There was not anyone else in the room beside me and the doctor. This made me very uncomfortable and it saddens me because I came to this new doctor with great reviews from fellow friends. Please consider my claim to prevent any future discomforts with any other female patients. Thank you

Dr Cornell has been my primary since I left my other Dr. (highly respected and very well rated) 4 years ago with whom it normally took 3-4 months to get a regular appointment for any issue, more than 6 months for a wellness check-up, and missed an impending full blockage heart attack a month after that resulting in a triple by-pass and later five stents. With this office you can usually call early in the morning and be seen that day for a short specific visit to address an issue. Plus there are several other great Drs. in the practice, usually four total split 50/50 male/female. Of the dozen times Ive used this special service only once was I not able to see Dr. Cornell, and only once I had to wait until the next day. Dr. Cornell has responded very respectfully and professionally to my every inquiry, and referred me on to excellent specialists as needed. Normal waiting is about 5-10 minutes once signed-in. Office staff is busy and could be perceived as abrupt, but nurses are all great and on iop of their game. Parking is easy, plentiful and free. So, is this practice for everyone? No, my wife chose another Dr. that suits her and there most certainly are other great doctors out there. But, Im really happy I found Dr. Cornell and his practice, and very confident here.
