Had her for years regarding my bipolar disorder. She was mean and made me hate myself. I finally found someone who really helps me.

She wouldn’t actually tell me my diagnoses. I never found out if I had Bipolar 2 or regular depression. I saw her for over 2 years, and she kept terrible records. One day she asked me if my mother (who passed away 12 years ago) had just died last year...She also kept shoving antidepressants down me when none of the 10 previous ones had worked, and my side effects kept getting worse.

A terrible terrible psychiatrist. Very condescending attitude which is not what people who are seeing a psychiatrist needs.

Dr. Nowlin listened to us and was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her! Thank you Dr. Nowlin!

Was a patient for 16 years or so. Dr Nowlin diagnosed my condition as adult ADD, when in reality (16 years later) the real problem is/was anxiety disorder. In addition, recently missed the 1st appointment in 16 years with Dr. Nowlin due to situation out of my control and she still has the nerve to call and ask for a $60.00 no-show fee. Unbelievable. DO NOT recommend.

Run from this provider. I saw her in the Scottsdale location and she lacks the ability to communicate, diagnosis or treat. She relies on her Glendale office to make appointments for her, she is easily confused and forgets things from one appointment to the next. She does not listen to the client and seems to pick whatever diagnosis she wants. Because all her prescriptions go electronic you really dont know what you are getting until you arrive at the pharmacy. Meds and dosing were changed with out my knowledge numerous times. Ive spent the last 5 months getting my meds re-adjusted because of what this woman did. RUN far and fast from this one.

Horrid. Absolutely HORRID. Made my child feel HORRIBLE. The absolute OPPOSITE of what she came for.
