Dr Anthony Pozun has been my card for CAD for over 10 years. I thank him many times for saving my life. My wife has been with him for only a few years but his significant contributions have greatly improved her condition. Great guy with wonderful bedside manners. Im 72 and I hope he can keep this old man alive for a few more years!

I have never had a physician who called me back in a matter of minutes when I had an issue. Dr. Pozun is one of the best. He is professional and understanding with a great knowledge of cardiology. He does not push pills at you -- he evaluates the whole situation and the whole person. I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a great cardiologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pozun for the past 15to 16 years during that time he has gone above and beyond the scope of what most other doctors would have done I can honestly say he has saved my life more than once just once recently upon seeing him for a follow up on a procedure that was needed he noticed swelling in my right lower extremity immediately concerned he ordered venous mapping which will be done in two days I can honestly say I have never met a physician more qualified or caring than dr. We trust Dr, Pozun as our doctor and this is who we wanted to keep seeing at the Thunderbird Office Location. Just found out from the Thunderbird office CVC (most of the staff/front office staff is very incompetent when it comes to communication) that he is no longer at CVC, had to leave due to a Family Emergency. Found this out only because we received a letter in the mail for my husband to schedule his Treadmill Test, the letter is dated 30-August-2019 and just found out that my husbands appointment was cancelled 13-August-2019..A MONTH AGO. No one has called us, emailed us or sent us a letter in the mail and told us anything. Had to find out on our own to which I am not surprised about since their is lack of communication. Praying to find another Dr. that is as good as Dr. Pozun. Praying Everything is Okay with his family.

One of the best Doctors I have ever been to!

Over the past 15 years I have been in and out of the hospital a lot battling high blood pressure. I seen countless Doctors and specialist for it I ended up on six blood pressure medications and it still wasn’t under control.last year I was handing my husband a cup of coffee and dropped it then I was having a hard time just functioning I went to the hospital and 5 doctors or so came in and wanted to run all these test on me I have had all these test ran on me before. There was 1 doctor who waited till all the others had their say and that was Doctor Anthony Pozun! He said I know what’s wrong sure enough he ran the right test and I had a problem with my left renal artery if I remember right it was fybromuscular displasa when he did my surgery my left renal was 95 % clogged he had to put a stint in I felt so much better and I was no longer taking 6 blood pressure medications I’m down to 3. Then in November of last year my husband all of a sudden couldn’t function and his blood pressure was out of control. Dr pozun found he had stage 1 heart disease and got his blood pressure until control.this year I was feeling funny went to hospital and 7 doctors seen me ran a bunch of test and all were fine except 1 it showed I had a stroke. They wanted to send me right to rehab with no explanation as to why I had a stroke my husband fought it . We both kept asking to see our cardiologist Dr.Pozun I was in there on a Thursday and from day 1we asked them to let him know I was in there and they refused. Finally 1 of his nurse practnitioners came in and heard my husband arguing with all these Doctors and she went and called him that was on a Saturday. He had them run 1 test on Monday and he ran another test on Tuesday himself and the test he ran showed I had a huge hole in my heart and when the blood flowed through it it hit my lungs causing me to have a hard time breathing and it formed clots and a piece broke off and went up to the right side of my brain and killed it causing a stroke . All these other doctors that seen me and none of them could find it just Doctor Pozun!!! He is by far the best doctor out there my family and myself highly recommend him so if your looking for a doctor that specializes in what you need go see Doctor Anthony Pozun he’s the best !!!

Dr Pozan has been a great blessing to our family.My wife has battled unusuall blood pressure issues for many years, she’s seen many doctors, some have even claimed that it was all in her head. But she had a condition that when she was sitting still her pressure was fine, but as soon as she moved or did anything strenuous her pressure would spike. Luckily Dr Pozan stood up for her, insistent that he knew her problem. A week later during an angiogram (that other doctors did as well and found nothing) he found within minutes a rinal artery had shrunk in an area and reduced her blood flow to almost 5%. So while he was in there he installed a stint and the very next day my wife was back. She was renewed. This great man had saved my wife. When most others had gave up.A few years later, unfortunately, she had s minor stroke, we went to the ER, once again many doctors, 7 to be exact, took there turns at her to find the cause. As soon as we arrived at the ER, I told them that Dr Pozan was our cardiologist and should be notified, once again, there pride or god complexes got in the way. After three days of testing and 7 doctors later, they came to us with NO answers. I was furious to find out they had still not contacted our cardiologist. Luckily one of the nurses felt for our situation and seen we were running out of hope, they were trying to discharge a stroke patient without finding why, the nurse contacted Dr Pozan herself.He immediately put a hold on her release, set up two more tests to be performed when he returned. The other doctors were in the room, they argued amongst themselves like children baffled why he would want to do these tests. One doctor, at Banner Thunderbird, a Russian, wearing pretty glasses and being followed by many interns. Was astonished that Dr Pozan would want these tests done. Once Again Dr Pozan instantly found why she had the stroke. She had a rare instance of a hole between the two chambers of her heart, this had caused the stroke. We’re scheduled to have the hole fixed, and thank god for Dr Pozan once again, my wife still lives, and has made almost a complete recovery. He’s also helped my solve some extreme blood pressure issues I’ve been battling. This Man Was A Gift From God.Thank You Dr Pozan for saving my wife’s life TWICE, where others were ready to chalk it up to “oh well” good luck and good bye. I feel bad for the interns future following such an inadequate Dr over there at banner. I owe my life and my wife’s life to Dr Pozan.A True Doctor that thinks outside of the simpletons view and gets stuff solved... there was one young ER doctor that agreed with Dr Pozan test requests, I am sorry I don’t remember his name. But I wanted to thank him as well.In closing, I’m almost 50 years old, in my time on this earth I’ve learned one thing to be always true..“When someone starts quoting credentials and experience as an answer, it’s because they have ran out of real answers”
