Scheduled my appointment a day before my birthday because it was the only appointment available before my insurance stopped covering me and I wanted to get a dental cleaning on the same day even though I know they normally just do the x-rays and exam on the first appointment and the cleaning on the second. I came in and there was a little bit of a wait but the receptionist was really nice and friendly and after when they called me back the girl that did all my x-rays was super nice as well as dr.wong and they congratulated me when I told them that my birthday is tomorrow. Then the hygienist came and she saw that my birthday was tomorrow and she told the others that she would do my cleaning today since my teeth were not that bad/I didn’t have any cavities and since my insurance would stop covering me after today. So thank you so much to the team and to the hygienist for going the extra mile for me even though you guys were about to close. I appreciate it!

I am so sick of being harassed to wear a mask. Every time I go in, I am handed a mask. This is why I got the vaccine.Its our policy for you to wear one... I never agreed to this policy. Its fine for workers to be mandated but if Im on my time, Im not wearing it. Update your policy people!

If I could give it a 0 I would! First we scheduled an appointment 12 and were at the office for 2.5 hours. Second they would not let me accompany my minor daughter back. I told them she was having pain from wisdom teeth and they didn’t even look or address the issue. Next I was waiting in my car with my infant and my daughter text saying she was waiting to go back again for a deep cleaning. I went inside to ask about this additional service was that they had her waiting for and they told me the deep cleaning and it’s not covered under insurance and costs $2000. Soooooo basically they were going to take her back and do a deep cleaning on her without talking to me about it and the cost and she’s a minor! We had to come back 2 days later due to wisdom teeth pain that was not addressed at the initial appointment and they said they’d have the doctor look at her X-rays and not see her cause she just had an appointment. The dentist looked at the X-rays and said there is an infection which was not mentioned at the first visit 2 days prior when the X-rays were done. Absolutely horrible!!

Honestly, this was a pretty bad experience. I called to schedule a routine cleaning, provided all of my insurance information over the phone, and got a call back with a scheduled date and time. I assumed everything was verified and I would be able to come in, fill out the initial paperwork for new patients and get my teeth cleaned.I arrived 15 minutes early to my appointment so I wouldnt be late and to complete any paperwork. Well, Im glad I did show up early; the office didnt have my insurance information and hadnt verified that the visit would even be covered (which was alarming). I was told that if the office wasnt able to verify my insurance, that I would have to pay out of pocket or cancel the appointment.Luckily, (or maybe unluckily), the office verified my benefits and I was taken back to get some preliminary X-rays done. The staff member asked me what brought me in for my appointment and I replied, Im here for a routine cleaning. The staff member then replied, Oh, our hygienist isnt here today. Do you want to go ahead and have the X-rays taken? Or do you want to reschedule? I decided I would wait and went back up to the front desk to reschedule. The staff member at the desk told me it would be best to go ahead and have the X-rays done to ensure the appropriate plan of care was established. Also, she said that they wouldnt be sure when a hygienist would be available so we would need to schedule that appointment (which is kind of the whole concept of making an appointment and what I thought I was doing initially, but I digress).So I proceed to get the X-rays taken and then Im taken to a dentist chair and a hygienist looks over everything and a dentist comes up and does a quick inspection. Im told that I do not have any cavities but I do require a level 2 cleaning, they would have to irrigate my gums, etc and the dentist rattled off an exorbitant price tag and of course it wouldnt be covered by insurance. No measuring my gums, no further inspections, just You need this cleaning done and the lady at the front desk can give you more details. So I stop by because Im going to tell her not to worry about rescheduling an appointment but the receptionist tries to upsell me on the deep clean and that I also would have to buy these trays to clean into the gums and that is even more money. I tell her I am not interested at all and that $2000+ is way out of my budget. I ask if I can request to just have a standard cleaning done and Im refused, flat out. So I just left. Big waste of time. Very unprofessional. Customer service was non-existent. They are only looking to upsell you and try to make money; they dont care about your dental health at all.Also, I ended up going to a new dentist and was told I did not require any kind of level 2/ deep cleaning.

I had scheduled an appointment and the day before the appointment I called to reschedule. No one answered the whole day. So I called the day of and explained the situation.. I wouldn’t be able to go in because myself and my children were waiting for our Covid results. The girl put me on hold a couple of times to speak to the receptionist, when the girl would come back I could hear the receptionist yelling in the background saying “she needed to call 24 hours before!”, “she has to come in” and other stuff. I asked them “do you really want me to go in knowing that I might have Covid?”. Her response was “yes”. I told her to cancel my appointment and that I will be searching for another dentist. They are willing to have me come in with Covid just for money. They do not care about other peoples health. I also told her that the receptionist is very unprofessional with all her yelling. What’s the point in having us wear masks and fill out possible Covid paperwork in the office if they don’t even care?

Told my BF he needed a 1500$ cleaning. Im his Hygienist. I did his cleaning 1 month ago. Dont trust this place.They also offer free disposable whitening trays for 5star reviews. Be careful what you believe.

I love the dentist and staffs professionalism and care. I have had so many nightmare experiences at the dentist before so I avoided going at all cost. I have severely done a grave disservice to myself by not taking care of my oral hygiene. The staff was wonderful and the dentists support was very nice. He has made me aware of what to do, and he was honest and fare. Thank you Dr. Wong and the Western Dental Glendale team. Please remember that oral hygiene is an important part of our overall health.

DO NOT GO HERE, the Dentist is amazing, but his office staff should never be allowed to work in customer service. They are lazy, not ansering their phones or attending to patients in the loby. They speak over the top of patients insisiting that they know better that the patient what the patient is experienceing. This person (sarah) should be terminated imediatly!This group is rediculous! After hours emergency line is a JOKE. Disconnected, told provider would call back in one hour, then told 3 hours when that did not happen. If you need anything beyond basic dental service DO NOT GO HERE!

Dr. Wong is very good doctor. He worked on my tooth to make it perfect. He put so much work into my tooth even I got tired and I wasnt even the one doing the work. He is an amazing, hard working dentist. I would recommend anybody to Western Dental. Everyone is kind and knows their job. I even got pain medicine before they closed for the day. Hopefully after all the work is complete on my tooth I wont need to come back for such a big dental problem. Sugar is the enemy here. Lol your patient Nina Walter

Never again. Before I go to a new dentist I will ask if cleaning is provided $1,600. For a cleaning for someone that has insurance is ridiculous.

I have made two appointments for my dental cleaning and they have made me miss the trip both times with excuses that they cannot attend me and today I had the cleaning and then the second part of my orthodontics and they could not do anything to me due to that at the last minute they did not clean me. I am exhausted from wasting my time going there having known that they would play with me so I would never have paid for my braces there.

I remember why I dont like going to the dentist. Overall it was good except I am currently in pain. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Heiu was extremely nice and caring and took the opportunities to help calm me down as I dont like getting dental work done all that much. Jennifer was able to help me out in regards to making it super easy to make the payments set up so that it wouldnt affect my financial situation too much. Dr. Wong really made me feel confident in him as a dentist to assure that I was getting top shelf work done. Dr. Wong has a very steady hand and was able to talk me through the whole procedure making sure I knew what was coming up and what I would feel.

Dr. Bernhard is very skilled and the only person I would ever recommend as an oral surgeon. Very good experience.

The appt at the Peoria_59th Ave location was the best dental experience that I have ever had. From beginning to end the staff was friendly and the care was excellent. Shout out to Dr Wong, Tainey, Isabel, Jennifer and Hieu for making people feel comfortable and giving us grade A care.

I have been to several different places before this one. I have never had such a great experience. I was never in any pain including the shot! Dr. Wong and his assistant Melissa V were very professional and checked on me several times to make sure I was ok.

The staff here is awesome, kind and courteous, I would like to mention, Rosa is very informative, and has given me very good, easy to understand instructions, on how to take good care of my teeth at home.

Came here in May for my scheduled appt, door was locked, never received a call or text saying they were closed. Tried to schedule a new appt for both cleaning and exam but apparently the corporate office doesnt know the hygienist schedule. Wasting time to come here twice now. I do like the dentist here, nice guy for sure but the office needs to pull it together and maybe apologize for the inconvenience.

I’ve been going to the Glendale location for about 4 years now, I have got quite a bit of work done major work done!!I like the fact that you can make payments as well on the balance due.Both of my kids had their orthodontic work done here as well years ago they have done a great job for me and my children. I will continue to get work done here I 100% recommend western dental!!Hieu and Isabel are Awesome..and dr Wong is a great doctor!!

They did their job but I feel like they told me I needed some things done that I really didnt need. Just so they can take my money. I went in wanting braces and came out with other stuff done and owning a lot of money. There more in to this but Im not gonna have my business out like that. Im already in this, but someone thats still looking around Just make sure you go to multiple locations and ask a lot of questions before you decide whats best for you and want you really want to get done.

😥Very poor customer service. Lied to me about hours of operation, services they provide & lab on site. Assistants for very rude. Had me wait until all other customers were seen instead of being seen at my appointment time. The dentist looked at my x-rays for about 1 minute. Was told he would call me back the next day after reviewing with oral surgeon. Never receive call back. All other employees left. When I asked the 2 assistants about my treatment plan first I was told I had to make another appointment another day to receive it. Then the two girls laughing made a treatment plan for me. Pointing at codes and telling each other make sure that they added this one and that one laughing the whole time. Told me I should have bought a better insurance plan. Said my insurance would not pay for any of the services they provided. They had services listed multiple times, services that I did not need. The services I needed to get done were not included on the treatment plan. When I asked about the insurance portion or where my copay were they told me laughing I should buy some better insurance. When I left they had to unlock the door to let me out. Even though the hours on the door said they were open another 45 minutes. After I left I called my insurance company. They told me that I was being overcharged by over $10,000.This was a waste of my time and money to see thats dentist. They should not even get one star. I also asked them to have the management give me a call and nobody has ever called me 😥

I scheduled an appt here for 10am only to wait for 30 mins then to wait for another 30 mins just to be told the hygenist couldnt see me until another half an hour. I schedule for just a simple cleaning. How much more do I have to wait? I got up and left. Very disappointed. Never coming here again!

My son was at Western Dental on 59th Ave and Peoria to have all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed. All of the staff and surgeon were so informative, kind, compassionate during the whole procedure. I would 100% recommend them for any dental needs.

The front desk and management do not return phone calls. I’ve been trying to get my account reviewed by a ‘manager’ and its been over a month and still no communication. This place is unprofessional. Furthermore, I was there for over 4 hours getting my braces put on because they couldn’t get them to stick ? Seriously ? I am now at Risas (super affordable) and I couldn’t be happier with how I am treated. Customer service matters and I will gladly take my business where I am valued.

I went last week and had a great team that help me out. They even said that they will work with me on in house payments for me and my daughter. Being a single mother of two and no dental insurance to pay for my dental needs and it helps when company like this help you and it make it less stressful for us. Not happy with service. I was upset for the prices they wanted to charge me. I called my insurance company about my experience and according to my insurance company they tried to over charge me. Due to me being upset the office manager said I was too loud and asked me to leave. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Do not go here!! Staff is incompetent and rude! I went in for an emergency extraction because the nerve was showing on one of my back teeth and my insurance would have paid for it the same day but since they only do that once a month according to them my insurance denied pre approval since they only cover emergency situations. They gave me a 3 day prescription then said it should last a month and a half until they could get me in to pay cash to have it pulled. I called another dentist who got me in and pulled the tooth the same day and I didnt have to pay anything. So save your time and call another dentist, I wouldnt recommend them to someone I hated

I love the Crew at Western Dental, they are so friendly & help make my experience great each time Im in the office. They never forget to remind me of my appointments via Text & have been flexible the few times Ive ran late to an appointment!! I always go to the Peoria office on 59th Avenue since its near my home.

I dont like going to the dentist. But, Noemi was extremely patient with me and explained the entire treatment that Dr Wong wanted to complete, with me. Dr Wong was very professional and patient. He took the time to answer any questions I had. His dental assistant, Hieu couldnt be a better compliment to his care. They were all very kind and made the experience so easy. They all did great.

Im giving Western Dental answering service for appointments a score of 2. The gentleman I spoke to spoke very little English he was in a rush he wouldnt let me talk he didnt know where I wanted to go he kept Directing me to a different location and I told him no and he didnt understand where Peoria and 59th Avenue was kept telling me it was not there, closed. and one more second and I would have hung up and not bother to make an appointment with Western Dental I have an appointment the following day here on a Tuesday and I hope I dont run into further problems they seem very nice at the receptionist

Dr. Wong is super nice and knowledgeable. However the front office staff is standoffish and not friendly. Melissa is argumentative at times, I am always uneasy during my verbal exchanges with her. When I came in to secure my appointment with the oral surgeon, she claimed to have told me about an immediate payment of $116 over the phone. In reality, she did not tell me about this charge over the phone. That was unnerving. It is imperative that this associate receive proper coaching so that no other customers are made to feel uncomfortable. Thank you for reading this.

Very welcoming, friendly and gorgeous staff. Hieu and Dr.Wong were very professional, courteous and straight forward which I appreciated. Its been 5+ yrs since Ive been to a dentist and they made the transition back very welcoming. I will be back for more work to be done.

Poor service and product. My daughter went in suffering from an impacted/abscessed wisdom tooth today. They told her via phone call that they would take care of it. We arrived. They didnt look inside her mouth and told her to come back in a week for extraction. They sent her away with antibiotic and aspirin for her swollen face and pain. I went in to speak to the nurse/dentist. They both were very unfriendly and treated us as though we were some sort of drug addicts! They told us that they WILL NOT prescribe her any pain medication and told her to take Tylenol. If any of you have ever experienced a severe abscess will understand the intense pain associated with it. ASPIRIN does NOT HELP. We called another dentist. I am happy to say that she is now in a dental chair having the tooth extracted. She has also received a prescription for pain control. I would NOT recommend Western Dental of Glendale to anyone experiencing a dental emergency. Also we found the reception staff to be very unprofessional and uncaring. We will not be returning to this place of business.

I scheduled an appointment for this location and gave the scheduling person my insurance information, down to the ID number. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, I was told that they were “just about to call me” to let me know they don’t accept my insurance, something they should have verified when I gave them my information during scheduling. The following day, they called me five times between 10am and 7pm and left two voicemails saying I missed my appointment. Appointment scheduling and follow up procedures definitely need to be reviewed to prevent further frustration.

Having my braces done in this location and the experience has been great. Dr.Sharma explained in detail what was going to happen with Allie assisting and made the experience enjoyable. I had to get my crown cemented while visiting as well and they made space for me to get it done right then and there. Dr.Wong did an awesome job with Hieu assisting. Thanks for all hard work. Will be recommending this place to my friends and family!

Very rude and rough when handling things. They drilled a cavity without the use of anesthetics . Very rough when handling the power chain on my braces although i had very firmly told them that what they were doing hurt. When my dad went to get his wisdom teeth removed they put in the wrong things and made him come back to fix it and charged him a lot more money because they made a mistake.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! You will be sorry! I have been through nothing but a waste of time and money and weeks of pain. Thought I was getting a brand new crown on when the doctor then BROKE that crown and expected me not to be upset. YOU WILL BE SO SO SO SORRY IF YOU CHOOSE ANY WESTERN DENTAL!!

Everyone is very nice. I have Fibromyalgia and they would always make sure I was ok. They all knew my name and greeted me when I come in. Dr Wong sent back my crowns because he didnt like the way they fit. He did a great job making sure everything fit and was correct. Karla was always very kind and sweet. She always made sure I was very comfortable. She even got me a dental jacket and covered me up when I was cold one day. I needed a lot of work and they did a great job. I will be back.

I went today to have 2 teeth pulled... Its been about 10 years since I been to the dentist and I freaked out.. The ladies at the desk were professional and helped ease my worry about the procedure. When I got back there I have to say, Dr. Slater was awesome, I told her my worry and she made sure to ensure everything was gonna be great even joking with me about my fear of needles. The D.A Ada was wonderful. They made me feel at home among friends.. Im going back when Dr. Slater returns and have the other 4 pulled... If I could rate then 20 stars I would... I initially called and spoke to Michelle whom is very sweet and patient loved her. Then the X-ray tech Ricardo was patient, helpful and just plain sweet. I was so nervous that I almost didnt walk in however I am happy that I finally did. Dr. Wong was very informative and professional had several options for me and I feel better about everything at this point. Hien who did my impressions (I believe that is what they are called) was awesome her patience and information was accurate hahaha she apologized ahead of time which was great! My whole experience on my first visit was GREAT and I look forward to coming back!!!

If you like being treated as dollar signs and possible malpractice go here. I went in for a simple extraction with anesthesia. Given a run around for a month and canceled on 3 times on me and the last time in person for their incompetence. Told my infection was a nonemergency even though I have required 2 surgeries now elsewhere to fix the infection. By all means sign your arbitration waiver and be treated by an oral surgeon who is double dipping as an anesthesiologist for money so you can be treated by a company who is only selling you simple short term fix for long term money gain. Personally they rather throw narcotics at you instead of doing their job. Save yourself an issue with horrible customer service and miss treatment and pay the extra dollar elsewhere.

I had a very small encounter with Western Dental & was highly disappointed. My wisdom tooth is growing in & my whole left side of my face is completely swollen. I havent eaten since Monday. I decided to call Western Dental & they scheduled me for a same day appointment at the 59th Ave & Peoria location. When I arrived at 2:20 (10 minutes early) the doors were locked & not a person was in sight. After calling Western Dental to let them know I arrived at my appointment & the doors are locked I spoke to the same gentleman who scheduled my appointment & he said they have me scheduled at the Thunderbird location. Mind you the time was 2:30 already so I wasnt going to make it in time. After expressing my frustration with this man & telling him he scheduled me at the wrong place all he had to repeatedly say is no you no talk to me instead of trying to help me get seen. So far the scheduling people are incompetent & you should really look into hiring someone who knows what their doing! I would rather be seen elsewhere than deal with this after all the pain Im in! Thanks for nothing Western Dental. You DID NOT make me smile today.

If I could rate a 0 that’s what I would rate! The only people that were nice and very compassion and should concerned and new what they were doing was Dr.wong and the dental hygienist I don’t remember her name, but I had to have some extractions done and Dr. Wong told me to schedule with the oral surgeon to have them removed it took almost a month and the front office staff played run around and I basically had to do there job and call my insurance and have them fax them the approval to get my extractions covered 2 times already. The day of the extractions the doctor I don’t remember his name but he was rude AF and didn’t even introduce his self just started jamming stuff in my mouth didn’t explain anything to me to make me feel comfortable I was already nervous and scared. The dental hygienist obviously seen my face and was rubbing my face and shoulders to calm me down because she seen how much pain I was in. She was so sweet an awesome wish I got her name. But anyway the doctor didn’t explain anything say bye or hi name nothing and then he asked me in the middle of the procedure when my mouth is all numb and my tongue is floppy out to the side because he injected the local medication to numb me and says hey pay attention what tooth is it that we are pulling I look at the doctor like are you serious right now you have the X-rays in front of you why the F are you asking me I can’t even talk at this point. Worst experience ever and don’t get me started on there phone system process. And when I was done with the procedure I was walking out as the dental hygienist was given me my RX and the supervisor had the nerve to grin and laugh because obviously my face is swollen and my mouth on one side is bend down because I just had extractions done what kind of professionalism does this office run smh I am glad I will never go back to this office they have no clue what they are doing. Be aware no wounded why there parking lot is always empty.

I would highly reccomend this dentist and all of its staffing to you. I was in a decent amount of pain. Xrays really were completed in 5 mins, the dentist came by in about 10 mins. We had a short exam, discussion and then the assistant and I set up a great plan for treatment.If you are in pain right now, even something small, just go. They will take care of you

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION! When we arrived for the most recent appointment, I was told I could not accompany my daughter back for her appointment. She is only 6. They tried to tell me this had always been their policy, but I explained I had always been allowed back before. Then they said they have a new managing dentist and he has changed the policy to no one but the patient goes back, no exceptions. We walked out. The staff was rude, the new dentist wouldnt even come out and talk about it with me, and that is a ridiculous policy. Im never going back and Im telling everyone to never go to them either!

This is the worst dental office I have ever been to!!! The front office staff, specifically the office manager are rude and give misinformation. I am guessing the reason for this is reverse discrimination, I am caucasian, they are Hispanic.On the first appointment back in September the office manager while explaining the financial ratings was condensinding and rolling her eyes when I had questions. She definitely gave the impression that her s**t didnt stink. I am here to tell you, it does.I have been without teeth since September, I was promised that I would have a full set of teeth prior to Thanksgiving. I was so looking forward to enjoying Thanksgiving dinner with a full mouth of teeth. Low and behold I will not be enjoying this meal, as you guess it this office has fallen short of their promises, I still have no teeth and they are not due to be done until the 28th of November.Each time during this process the staff would assure me that if the temporary setting of my teeth were in I would get a call and an earlier appointment would be given. Well, that has yet to happen. With each appointment the teeth were in one week earlier. No call, no earlier appointment. Hmmmmm

I was referred to western dental by a good friend but my guess is that service verys by location. Worst service and dental experience I have ever had.

Still havent heard back about scheduling my wisdom extraction, about to call another dentist.Poor customer service. The woman who did my x-rays had no idea what she was doing, she kept saying well try it again if I cant get it well get someone who can do it. This led to having each section done 4-5 times. Mind you my wisdom tooth is coming in and it hurts to open my jaw 50 times unnecessarily.The xray bibs are disgusting and havent been cleaned any time recently, if at all. They had dried dirty splatter all over them, looked like they were left in the rain.The actual dentist office is a joke, theres no privacy and the offices are so tightly packed theres no way to get in and efficiently clean.

Dr Wong, Mariely and Hieu are all wonderful also had a chance to speak to Noemi the big boss and she was very nice great staff I will be back for more work in the future.
