I was impressed with this ofc and staff. My dentist was so quick to find my problem tooth. He was able to grind it down a little and no more pain!!! Yeah!!!!

I had always had anxiety about dental procedures since I had a bad experience when I was younger. I found Protection Plus Dental and I am so glad I did! Since the first appointment everything went well. Dr. Bassin is gentle, patience and explains things very well. Today I had an extraction and even though I was scared everything went so well! One of the dental assistant held my hand and the other one was padding me on the shoulder. Dr. Bassin was constantly asking how was I doing. They were genuinely concerned about me being at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Bassin and his staff everyone is so friendly and patience. And if you have highly anxiety about the Dentist this is the place to go.

Dr. Bassin is an amazing dentist, extremely well qualified. You can definitely tell that he trained at one of the most prestigious programs in the US because of his high quality of work. Great conversationalist and makes you feel relaxed on the chair. Highly recommend to anyone. Takes his time and is very meticulous in providing the best work possible.

Try a FREE CONSULT, nothing to lose there. Please dont only see 1 star old reviews from infrequent contributors. No one is perfect so stop all the hate and give specifics. I have seen Dr. Sabrina Dhanjal at Protection Plus in Glendale at least 12 times since about April 2018 (about 8 months). The office is large, clean, no bad smells, clean restrooms, great parking in Walmart center on the NW corner Glendale & 75th Avenue. Dr. Sabrinas father is a dentist and used to be there but I do not think he is practicing there now. The cousin of the Dhanjals practices here also. There is a wall mounted TV monitor for youth getting care. Protection Plus does what they can to make care both excellent and affordable. There may not be a fancy X-Ray so if you find holding a small cardboard in your mouth a few seconds to be painful you can always ask if the treating dentist can help. This location does give inexperienced but recently certified young ladies a chance, and so they may not have the years and years of practice it can take to do everything super smoothly. Dr. Sabrina actually CARES about your health and looks, it is NOT all about money with her. She is a smart, talented woman who took extra education so she can also do braces. She has the most upbeat can-do, no-worries attitude of any person Ive ever known - no shaming here. Protection Plus respects your needs, opinion, and wallet. They want everything to be as perfect as it can be in terms of your final result. This is the type of dentist you want! My doctor sent me to see Dr. Sabrina because I so badly needed my teeth fixed so I could wear my oral sleep apnea device. I came in needing to have 5 teeth removed due to severe infection. I was going to be left with hardly any teeth, and no way to eat or wear my sleep appliance for sleep apnea - the worst. Other dentists did not want my insurance. Thankfully, Protection Plus took my insurance plan which other dentists hated. For $1300 I got all 4 quadrants Scaling & Root Planing, and TWO removable bridges with a full set of teeth (partial denture, removable) to replace not only the 5 Dr. Sabrina pulled, but the ones Id lost before too. I LOVE MY NEW SMILE! I am hooked on Protection Plus. Read on if you want to know what happened with 4 other dentist before I arrived at Protection Plus, so you can learn a little about the range of dentists practicing in the valley. It is worth consideration especially the money and respect. Gentle Dental, over almost 2 years, told me when I asked about cleaning that I only needed cleaning every 2 years, and my last August 2018 treatment plan with them was to get 5 crowns on top, no extractions. Later I learned my insurance plan paid for the Scaling & Root Planing every 2 years, but also gave me free regular cleanings, plus 2 periodontal cleanings every year $30 each. But they insisted I only needed every 2 years. In November 2018 Gentle Dental wouldnt get me in to see my abscessed tooth, so I went to urgent care then elsewhere once treated with antibiotics. Glendale Modern Dentistry wrote a plan for extracting 6 lower teeth - the top were fine - and would make a permanent partial for those 6 teeth at a total cost of $10,000. They totally disregarded my concern about cleanings AND pressured me to hurry and BORROW the money to get started. I ran, and went to try Risas where I was told I had to go get the full Periodontal Scaling & Root Planing done first. I went to Dr. Zuch, a Scottsdale periodontist who evaluated then said I needed a full set of dentures, none of my teeth were worth saving, and it would ONLY be $40,000. He said it was useless to do a cleaning but since I could not afford that NOW he gave me a price quote and sent me back to Risas uncleaned. Risas next said I should get only 4 lower teeth pulled, and a partial could be made for those 4 at a cost of $1900. I was so happy, but then he walked away and had a girl tell me to go to another specialist to be evaluated. Thats when I was referred to Dr. Sabrina. My story has a happy ending, yours can too :)

With the previous owner gone, Dr. Sabrina is back and I am really excited! Glendale is much closer to me, and I no longer have to travel to Avondale to see her. Your 5 stars will be back, Dr. S! Hang tight!! :)

I very much enjoy my time at protection plus. The staff was and is always friendly and very polite. Dr.Gaba did an amazing job with my teeth. I am still very pleased with the way they turned out.

I go there about once a year to get cavities filled. They are always very nice to me. They get me in and out. They waste no time. Thats how I like it.

I had an appointment for 1 pm. 9/02/2016 (not sure why it says a week ago on my post)I arrived 30 minutes early to do paperwork since I am a new patient and a friend recommended them to me. I sat in the office for 45 minutes until I asked when I was going to be seen since people that came in after me were being called before me. A patient walked in and was called 8 minutes after being there when I had already been sitting there for almost an hour. I was told they were running behind but how can they call people that were arriving after me, before me? I was told they would call me next and five minutes later they open the door and called someone else that came in after me. So I told them to cancel my appointment and told the receptionist to make sure they did not charge me.

Dr. Sabrina and Dr. Eric are great and compassionate. The staff always remember who you are and are friendly. Even they seem to get new people they train they thoroughly and quickly with precision.

Most unprofessional dentist office Ive ever been to. Paid 5,000 for my daughters braces. I have been trying to schedule an appointment to get them tighten for over 3 months. Dr. Gaba is only in office on Mondays and Wednesdays. And often leaves by 10 p.m. on one of those days. How does he work if he is never in the office.

I was very excited about dr dhanjal’s new location, because it’s very close to me.When I went there for dental check up and cleaning I got very disappointed. Lack of hygiene, inexperienced staff, stinky, x-ray technician hurt my mouth badly and it started bleeding, I saw a staff girl with long nails like she was there for a fashion show. Dr dhanjal and Sabrina are experienced dentist and have good reputations, but these above things needs to be taken care of.

New Doctors are excellent. Great deals.

They say they are open from 1pm-5pm and as i call at 2:19pm no one answers, so i proceed to call the doctor on call and he informs me that they closed early... i didnt know dentist offices who are supposed to be professionals closed early. not only was i unable to make an appointment but the service here is just superiorly unprofession. I would not trust them with my teeth or my service.

One star is way too much for this dental office. Plz go somewhere else and dont give your money to them. Unprofessional work, rip off, ppl who works on your mouth are not well trained and so many things. Go somewhere else. Very bad service.
