A friend recommended this office to me because I had a traumatic experience as a teen and have been scared of dentists ever since. I am so grateful that I was referred here!Everyone has been wonderful to me and my husband.Dr. Ewell called me the day of my appointment to put me at ease.Ashley did my teeth cleaning and she was amazing!Dr. Ewell then saw me to check me over and she was gentle and calming. I havent had my fillings changed since I was a kid so I was expecting her to say they all needed to come out. This office is so honest. They said my fillings were good to go and I didnt need to replace what was already working.I ended up needing a root canal because I made a huge mistake and didnt seek a dentist when a filling came out months ago. But thankfully everything else was good!I was then seen by Dr. Crane for my root canal and I have to admit I was terrified because of all the stories I had heard throughout my life about this procedure.Dr. Crane is incredible too! He made sure I was comfortable and at ease the entire time. I did NOT feel one bit of pain during the whole appointment!No matter which dentist you see (my friend sees Dr. Wood and loves him too) you are in great hands!My husband went the very next week because of my great experience. He had his teeth cleaning done by Diane and she was delightful.The office staff is wonderful too! I am beyond blown away by their level of professionalism, customer service, and care.Oh and I almost forgot to mention Dr. Crane called me in the evening to check up on me and make sure I was ok. What?? Doctors dont do that anymore..so I thought! I am referring everyone to this office. I am beyond happy to have found this group of incredible dental pros!I cant believe Im now one of those people that doesnt fear going to the dentist!

Im new to the area and found John Woods DDS through my insurance website. I am so glad I did! They are extremely professional, on time, and pleasant to work with. Diane did my cleaning and it was thorough but gentle. Thank you Dr Ewell and everyone else for such a good experience!

Happy and satisfied with the services received at Dr. Wood’s office. I needed to have some bridge work replaced in the front of my mouth. I met with Dr. Wood for a consult and I walked out of his office with a plan of action and a date to return to begin the process. My first appointment, mid-June, was to remove the bridge and prepare a temporary, seemed simple. But to our surprise, especially mine, we came across a tooth that had decayed so bad that an emergency root canal had to be done. Imagine my dismay, but Dr. Wood sprang into action and began the process of removing the decayed tooth and even moved his calendar around to make sure I was walking out of his office as planned with that temporary bridge in place. Second visit in July was to check on the root canal and the healing process of the other teeth and schedule a try-on for the bridge. Yesterday was my last visit and my bridge looks beautiful! My teeth look so natural!To think I walked into Dr. Wood’s office in June with aching teeth that were too big and too square for my mouth; and, in just over a month, I leave with a smile feeling on the top of the world! His meticulous work and how thorough he was from start to finish, affirmed I went to the right place, to get the job done! I would highly recommend his office for all your dental needs. Thanks again. Very professional, friendly, and clean office. Highly recommend this family owned dentist. They make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Their commutation with me has been consistent informative. My dentist is Dr. Ewell and I have always have a good experience with her. She uses a great technique when numbing where I experienced little to no pain when all I’ve known from other dental offices is pain during that moment. Her assistant Lindsay is always a pleasure as well. They work great as a team. I also had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned from Ashley pavolini and looking forward to the next. The front office receptionist Melissa is very nice and and I enjoy conversing with her while I’m checking in and out.

I felt in such capable hands here. The office was comfortable, Beautiful, and clean. They used all of the protection protocols. My teeth looked and felt very clean after my visit.

Was very pleased with my initial visit. They were very patient and listened to me about my fears and doubts. The dentist was a lovely lady with a laid back manner which i believe I can live with. The tech was also very helpful and patient and (for the first time in my dental history) offered me many choices and suggestions about alternate appliances for my night-time teeth grinding. Dr Crane is one of the Dentists here. He saw my mom for an Urgent matter with her dentures. He was very kind and explained what was going on with her mouth & dentures. The office staff are very thorough and professional. It is a safe Covid free office.

Finally! After 2 years of searching, and a referral, we have found our dentist. The front office, Michelle, from our first call to our first visit ~ Lindsey, & Dr Ewell...exceptional! Thank you all for your courtesy, professionalism, and care.

Dr John Woods discovered an issue with a crown in the back of my mouth. The X-rays were blocked and did not show the decay under my old crown because of the adhesive available for use by my prior dentist roughly 30 years ago after a root canal. He noticed something by his physical exam after my scheduled cleaning and x-rays. He recommended that I check it out and soon so that I might save the tooth. I wanted to delay but reconsidered when it could have cost me the molar.After addressing the decay and giving me a temporary crown, he scheduled me for a return after a couple of months to make sure the tooth would survive. I returned for the recheck and another X-ray and was delighted to find out the tooth had survived and I was ready for the balance of the process. Today I had the mold for the final crown and am delighted to say that next month I will have a new crown.I am grateful that John Woods convinced me of his concern and in retrospect, I did at times smell the decay while using my Water Pic. I have been going to Dr Woods since 2014 and have always trusted and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great dentist.

I showed up with a filling that seemed kind of loose, and it turned out that my replacement filling has to actually be a crown which is 1700 bucks. Way too much money in my opinion, but thats the going rate I believe. John seems like a great guy, like most all dentists, seems to do fine work, I was in and out in 2 hours and theyre going to make a crown and put it on in three weeks, in and out, no problems, Id certainly recommend him to anybody with everyday tooth problems

I have been going to Dr. Wood for maybe 20 years now. I would recommend him and his team to anyone. Everyone is super professional and nice. The office is clean and well decorated. The service his team provides is top-notch. Whether it’s just my routine cleaning or something more, I know I am in good hands.

My mother had a terrible experience. They had her in terrible pain during an appointment where she was crying and she was not a new patient. It was horrible she was a nervous wreck by the time she left, then they sent her a note asking her to find someone else as if she would ever go back.

By far the best dentists in town. Dr Woods and Dr Ewell are fantastic to work with and I trust everything they are telling me. They are both patient and kind and work with me through my anxiety of being at the dentist. I highly recommend Ms. Linda for your cleaning needs.

Recently Dr. Wood performed a cosmetic bonding on two of my front teeth. Due to the fact that I am a new patient I was anxious as to the outcome. Dr. Wood and his assistant completed the procedure with professionalism and patience while interacting with me as to the look I was hoping to achieve. The result is great and I am pleased I researched to find a dentist with the knowledge and expertise I was looking for.

After many years of being fearful of the dentist and dreading going (bad experiences as a teen), I decided to give this dentist a try after a friend recommended them, as I knew I needed to get my teeth on track.I have have gone 3 times in a week starting with a thorough exam & making a plan to fix everything, a thorough cleaning, and my first dental work procedure today (3 fillings). As I sit here with my mouth still numb, I am happy to say I will gladly be back and keep my mouth on track for the first time really in my life (and I’m 39). They had no criticisms or attitude toward me for not getting into the dentist in so long, which I greatly appreciated! I’ve unfortunately experienced that elsewhere.Dr. Ewell & team are AMAZING! They know what they are doing and made me very comfortable. Lindalea the hygienist is equally awesome! Got my teeth cleaner than they have been in years & recommended solutions for my tooth sensitivity. Office staff is great at fitting you in and working with your schedule! I couldn’t say enough awesome things about this place! They are FANTASTIC! For the first time in my life I can say I LOVE my dentist!

I had an emergency. Dr Wood did numerous tests, got me in in a timely manor and was very thorough. In the end he decided it was not a tooth problem. He could have done an expensive procedure but opted for an alternative to dental treatment. They are honest and very informative.

I was so scared and nervous going to see a Dentist, I hadnt been to a Dentist in years and I was also embarrassed to boot. Dr. Woods office staff were so kind and understanding. As a first time patient I had a quick questionnaire to fill out and then was taken right back to an exam room. They were so thouhough and kind with my exam and my fears.. Jen who did my exrays and helped Dr. Craine with my exam was simply Amazining as was the Dentist. I have never had such a great experience at a Dentist visit in my life. I went in feeling hopeless and afraid and left full of hope and all fear easily went away. The cost was also pretty amazing, much lower than othe visits and procedures i have had at others denists in the past. I look forward with much hope and joy to getting my teeth in tip top shape. I have many cavities, need a cleaning and a root canal but its affordable and I cant wait to get started. I highly recomemd Dr. Woods Dental practice to anyone especially those who are afraid or embarassed. They truly build you up and have a way about them to help you feel calm and hopeful.Paula S

Awesome service! When you arrive, Kris and Michelle greet you with smiles which is so refreshing. They seem like they genuinely enjoy their job. Diane did my cleaning and then I saw Dr. Corbridge and his assistant Jen. They make you feel like a real person and not just another patient. Very friendly, courteous and fun to talk to. My kids also had a great experience (which is saying a lot!). We are so grateful to have found our new dentist.

Always the most professional team players Ive experienced, and I am somewhat of a critic. Went in for my cleaning and they found a loose crown.Immediately regrouped and reset the crown within about 20 minutes. Theywork together like a well oiled machine, the whole office. I love this dentist! I have been a patient of Dr. Ewells over a year and a half now and have nothing but great things to say. I have pretty high anxiety about going to the dentist. But, Dr. Ewell has been patient and understanding and accommodating the whole way through. I feel as though I am listened to and that they genuinely care about me every appointment. Kris and Michelle at the front desk are always so nice. I have had my cleanings done by both Marlin and Lindalea and they are both fantastic. From the first initial phone call to schedule my appointment, checking in, having my exam, and cleaning, I can definitely give 5 stars. I would give 10 if able. The front office staff are professional, warm and friendly. Their COVID precautions are on point! Dr Crane and his assistant were very kind and personable. From full mouth xrays (which I needed), dental exam, and cleaning, every nook and cranny was covered. Dr Crane explained his recommendations for treatment plan, and asked me about my thoughts and if I had any questions. As a former dental assistant I am extremely picky and felt completely comfortable that I had and will continue to receive the best care in dental practices. If you are looking for a dental office, this is the place!

I came to Dr. Ewell after having a really awful experience at another place. My anxiety was through the roof, but she and her assistant were amazing. I haven’t had a dentist who listened so well and really cared about making a visit as comfortable as possible. I no longer dread coming to the dentist. This office is great!

This is the second time I have had Linda Lee the hygenist. She is amazingly sweet and thorough in her cleaning. Very supportive on home care ideas.The office is conveniently located and very clean. When you go there you feel very welcomed almost like family! Dr Wood went the extra mile with me today and even gave me a phone call to clarify a question I had while I was there.

Everyone at this office is caring. I have had some very bad experiences in my past with Dentists. I drive 50 minutes one way and its worth it. I have been coming here for about 4 years now. They really care about your comfort level and are careful with pain. I highly recommend this practice!

My mom and I both go to Dr. Woods office and we love it! The staff is super friendly and very helpful when it comes to billing and appointments. Dr. Wood is extremely easy to get along with and does a great job. Im always worried about trying new dentists because my teeth are sensitive, but him and his assistants were super nice and gentle going about my dental work which was very much so appreciated! I wish I had switched to Dr Ewell earlier. This is the fist time in my long life that a dentist called me the day after a procedure to see if everything is OK.So many things that I put up with other dentists and dentist offices are handled differently, here: They make sure that the dentist chair is properly adjusted for me, instead of telling me thats the best we can do. They handle items like obtaining insurance approval or medical record transfers quickly and effortlessly, instead of making me supervise their progress.Dr Ewells drive to achieve perfection not only in dental work, but in all her interactions with the patient are a welcome blessing for somebody who has seen generations of more or less grumpy dentists in two continents chip and drill in this poor old mouth of mine.The staff at this practice, from the reception desk to the dentist assistants, and Dr Ewell herself are superbly professional and friendly. Really Great! They were very accommodating and got me in early, provided x-rays, full exam by Dr. Wood (really super!) and a great cleaning and I was out early too! Dr. Wood is very caring and professional. Im a wimp about dental pain but Dr. Wood took great care of me and the whole experience was almost pain free!

I am really happy with Dr. Wood’s dental office. I suffer from a life time of discomfort (to put it mildly) from dental procedures, x-rays and dental sounds and visuals. Dr. Corbridge and Jenn, his assistant made me feel at ease and it made all the difference in the world. They administered nitrous oxide to calm me down, but it was their attitude and careful handling towards me that had the real effect. I have been a patient of Dr. Woods for almost 20 years now. He is the best dentist ever in all of life. He cares about his patients and about their teeth, each and every one of them. I love going to Dr Woods office. His staff is always so friendly and professional! Dr. Wood is very gentle and does excellent work! He has great stories to share and really cares about hit patients

Dr. Wood and his staff are professional, efficient and friendly. The office is state of the art, clean and organized. From the time I enter the door until I leave the office, the experience is as pleasant as going to the dentist can be. I highly recommend Dr. Wood and his staff!

I have been visiting Dr. Woods for about 25 years and wouldnt use another dentist. He and his staff are delightful. The atmosphere in the office is highly professional and efficient but also relaxed and welcoming. This visit I had three replacement fillings. His numbing technique is amazing. I felt not an iota of pain throughout and was done within the hour. This morning I expected residual pain but there was nothing. He is an amazing dentist. We have recommended him to so many people who have also been visiting him for years. My husband found him when we both were new transplants to Arizona 25+ years ago. He was fabulous then and he is fabulous now.

Dr. Wood is the most thorough dentist I have ever been too. He gave me a treatment plan and explained what should be done and what could wait. I was not pushed to do any of the work. He cares about each patient and takes his time with you. He is a perfectionist and he never rushes through his work. His hygenists are very good as well as all of his staff. I actually look forward to my cleanings every 6 months!

The best dentist group! Dr. Wood and team are wonderful. Appointments are always on time, thorough, and down right pleasant. Liz always does a wonderful job and has great bedside manner. Notifications by email and text make it really easy for appointments and confirmations.

Awesome dentist, great work, very gentle, great Hygienists. I worked in the dental field for 25 years and this is the dentist that was recommended to me by the dentist I worked for and it is who he and his family sees after they retired!!! I am confident in his work as well as his staff, and have been going to his practice for several years now. I know that 2 of them teach at the dental college. That speaks volumnes!

I saw Dr. Ewell recently and I had a wonderful experience. The last dentist I saw created a very painful problem by drilling to close to my nerve, so I was really scared about choosing a new dentist. I chose this office from the excellent online reviews, and my time with her certainly lived up to all expectations. She explained everything, gave me great advise, and was friendly as well. I am so happy I finally found a great dentist! The receptionist was also very helpful, and Diane, the hygienist, did a very thorough job on cleaning my teeth. Excellent office all around!

Called at 2PM on March 8th with an emergency dental issue and even though the office was booked solid, Dr. Woods agreed to stay after hours to see me. The front office staff, technicians and Dr. Wood exemplify professionalism and compassion. Highly recommend!

The year was 1988 and I had terrible tooth pain on Christmas Eve. Dr. Wood came in on Christmas Day to see me. Since then he has taken the best care of me, my family and friends. My sister in law drives from Chandler because he is so good.Kathy, has always cleaned my teeth and after eight years overseas she and Dr Wood brought my teeth and gums back to excellent health.The staff are professional, caring and always friendly. I enjoy my semi annual dental check ups and trust Dr Wood, he is the best.
