I am the chicken of chicken when it comes to a dentist. To be quite frank I was embarrassed to go to the dentist because my teeth were so horrible. Unfortunately I ended up chipping my front tooth while paddle boarding in Hawaii. I had to see someone to fix it.The best part, they said dont worry about where you are, lets get you to a healthy state.This entire team is amazing! They are friendly, the followup is phenomenal, the dentist and all the staff have been absolutely incredible.. From the moment we walked in the receptionist was so friendly and very accommodating. I let them know about my sons disability and they all wanted to know how to help him to make him comfortable as possible. They are all such amazing and wonderful people. I was not blessed with great teeth so I tend to get anxiety when going to the dentist, and tend to postpone treatment. This was my first visit at Italian Smiles and they really made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. Rachel, the dental hygienist, was amazing. I have never felt so comfortable at the dentist before. She took her time and explained everything she was doing. For the first time in my life I will not put-off going to the dentist.

This is the best place! I went in dying of pain! Nobody could take me in and do an extraction. But Lizette I believe, got me in the same day. Im 28. Ive already had one tooth pulled. I honestly didnt want more pulled but I couldnt take the pain and going to the dentist is so expensive. But they were so amazing, they worked out an amazing deal that allowed me to keep my tooth! Dr. Leonard is so phenomenal! She even messaged me the next day asking me how I was doing and gave me advice for pain. Ive been pain-free ever since. Destiny was also amazing comforting me while I cried in pain and just being super emotional because I couldnt eat anything all day, by that time it was like 4pm. Before visiting Italian Smiles, I was not a big fan of the dentist due to prior experiences at the dentist. But at Italians Smiles, I felt welcomed and was treated more like family than a patient. The staff were very helpful and understanding of my situation as well as very professional when it came to my actual procedure! All in all, GREAT EXPERIENCE!

My former dentist (another practice) let me know I needed a root canal before heading off on her vacation, leaving me stuck. I needed to get the procedure done quickly as I was to start a new job in one week. Lucky for me, I found this office and will be making this my new dentist. Dr. LaVant answered the office phone by chance and agreed to squeeze me in for an evaluation the next morning (such quick turnaround!). Dr. Leonard came in that same day (her day off!) to perform a root canal. Monica was so nice and accommodating, shepherding me through my visits. I cannot say enough positive things about everyone at this office. The physical location and office itself feels nice, clean, and professional. I originally came to Italian Smiles because my regular dentist was retiring. I have been very pleased with the transition. The facility and equipment are clean; the staff are friendly, helpful, and usually right on time. Dr Lavant is friendly and professional, but not pushy. I appreciate that we allow treatment to go at my preferred, conservative pace.

First time visit here. Very welcoming atmosphere. Massage chairs available in waiting room. Masks required. Wait to be seen was minimal. Appointment was on time. Met with dental assistant first for x-rays and Doc saw me after. No upsells or unnecessary work was suggested. Friendly front staff and dental team all the way around. I left ‘smiling’ and felt comfortable with my choice to try them out based on a post on a Facebook group.

He provided a thorough explanation of my X-rays and what may be helpful for my teeth in the future. Italian Smiles has got to be the best dental experience in all of Phoenix. I cannot say how much I was made at ease, how easily everyone approached their specific jobs and the details they each provided to me along my appointment. Vanessa, my hygienist, kept me relaxed and keenly aware of any possible discomfort (there was no discomfort). She explained what she was doing why she used the tools that she used at those specific times and areas of my mouth. Nav-consummate expert. I was extremely afraid and hesitant to visit a dentist after not seeing one for years but due to intense discomfort I decided to visit Dr. Lavant after searching online for a dentist and it was the best decision ever. The hygienist Rachel gave me a deep cleaning and it was a breeze absolutely no pain followed by a root canal by Dr. Lavant and not one second of discomfort. The entire staff is extremely fun and friendly. I’m a new patient but it seems as if I’ve known these people forever. Give them a try and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
