At this location (office 104), the staff is kind and professional. Very organized and informative. Spotless place.

Have been going to this location once or twice weekly since June 2021, Lotika Joshi has been such a joy to see every time I am there. She truly cares and is a relaxing force at the lab. Very clean location, well organized and a truly friendly staff! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I get all of my blood work done at the Glen Cove lab and I wouldn’t change a thing. Everyone provides amazing service and they are very helpful. Results are quick and the bloodwork is painless. You’re all the best!

Lab is run well with appointments, taken on time and service is great. After leaving the office it goes down hill. The results are never on the patient portal and when you call tech support they blame it on the way the lab processed the results, and when you call the lab they point the finger at tech support for the patient portal. Some reps offer to email the results whether they are complete or not , while other reps ( literally 5 min apart) state they can not send incomplete results. Today I called to receive those pending results and the email has still not been sent from this afternoon (its 10pm now). This alone will make us not return to Northwell for lab work.

Genna Gambino was EXTREMELY accommodating and professional. They were super kind and helpful and it was refreshing to deal with these women and their smiles!Andrea was great too!

No one ever likes to go get blood work done but I have to say that the girls in this facility are top notch. The best girls with the greatest personalities and they always make me feel so comfortable. I won’t go anywhere else.

I made appt the night before, there was no waiting, very pleasant and professional place. Found my vein immediately no prodding or probing which happens to me a lot and I mean a lot. It was just so pleasant and I felt very relaxed as she had to take 6 tubes. Thank you Glen Cove Northwell Lab.

This lab is the best. Always friendly, kind, patient, efficient and fast fast fast! I have panic attacks and faint sometimes (most times) with needles - but never here! They always distract you and do it so fast and gentle it’s done before you know it. Were good with my child in the past too.

Staff was kind and professional, but I don’t understand why they use the same narrow hallway / small waiting room for both COVID testing and routine blood work. I needed to get bloodwork done but I felt very uncomfortable when the woman in line in front of me sounded very sick and said she was there for a COVID test. Shouldn’t COVID testing be conducted outside the building or at least in a separate suite?

I was so happy with the efficient process and warm staff. This is the place to go!

I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to Northwell Health Labs at 10 Medical Plaza in Glen Cove. Im motivated in writing this because of my experience while I was there today getting a list of blood tests done among other things. After meeting with my new Doctor (Dr. John Anthony Reyes, also at 10 Medical Plaza), he prescribed a series of blood work to be done asap. He suggested I do them right there in the same location as his offices. I went to the lab to make an appointment. I wanted to make for Tuesday to avoid going on Saturday which from my experience is when most folks go. The nurse told me not to worry that they had room on Saturday and they assured me it would be a quick and pleasant experience. I said fine and made the appointment for 9:16 am (although in my mind I felt that it would be a horror show, but needed to get the blood work done asap). Saturday morning came and sure enough, 15 minutes prior to my appointment, I received a text from the lab advising me to be ready to hear my name called within the next 10 minutes. Before the 10 minutes were over, i hear my name being called and stepped into the lab(this process is due to covid precautions), they took my insurance information, walked me to a segregated room, the nurse came in and welcomed me and within 5 minutes, she took five (5) vials of blood and I was out the door. I love this place! Everyone should have the same experience.

I was a walk-in. Wait time was short. Was greeted by friendly staff and was seen and finished in less than 10 minutes. Office was clean and all Covid protocols were followed! Highly recommend

I have been to this location a few times for blood work and other tests. The staff is super friendly, fast, and extremely helpful. I do make appointments before I come, some made a few days before, some made the day of, and so far, I dont think I’ve waited more than 20 minutes from walking in the door to leaving after the procedure was done. Again, I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff is there and how professional, quick, and accommodating they are.

Went for couple blood test routine work. Since I had an appointment I walked in directly. But since it was a Saturday it’s pretty crowded as there were lot walk-ins. Overall I’m super happy and big shoutout to Vanessa! She did an amazing job drawing my blood and very friendly.

I recommend making an appointment. Very easy to do and reduces any long wait time on line. It is great especially if you have to fast over night.

My daughter is 15 months old & and has very small difficult veins. These two women were extremely nice, professional & sweet to my daughter. I would definitely recommend this lab.

Staff are professional and reassuring, which matters so much when going to any medical appt in COVID19 time is scary. They paid strict attention to masking and distancing, and kept patients separated once inside the lab. The place was clean. Big contrast to another Northwell Health lab I visited (and left in terror), where people waited while staff chatted and laughed, Pts had to sign in with the same pen, and were asked to sit too many in a small waiting room. Always will use the GC lab in the future. Thank you!

I was calling from a doctors office to get results on a COVID test for a patient. I was put on hold AND STOOD ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR. I have never been on hold for that long with any facility. This is unexpectable and a waste of the patients and my time. No one even picked up the phone telling me someone will get back to me, but I literally got IGNORED. My patience wear thin with facility. Horrible, if I can give no stars I would. Horrible customer service, I will never refer someone here. Period.

They do an excellent job with the social distancing and keeping things organized. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. Gina is phenomenal, as are the phlebotomists. They have people wait outside to avoid crowding the small office space. Don’t listen to the alerts that tell you to check in! They come out and get you which is much better to ensure social distance and safety for all.

Unfortunately, I had to spend the last day of the year at the doctor. Fortunately, I had the most wonderful experience at Northwell Health Labs, at Glen Cove. First and foremost, the lab is extremely clean! Second, I met the kindest employee - Genna. She was so sweet and patient with me. I’ll admit, I have a hard time having blood drawn, and was afraid of getting into a situation where my tiny veins would hide. Genna was so understanding and engaging that I actually forgot that I was there to have my blood drawn, which helped in the end because she found a perfect vein, and didn’t have to poke me more than once. And, let me tell you, I couldn’t even feel the needle. Where has Genna been my whole life?! The draw was quick, painless, and we managed to have a few laughs in between everything.If Genna reads this, THANK YOU for being so patient and kind. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. Great job Northwell for the amazing staff. Genna is the reason why I’ll continue to keep coming back to Northwell. We have so many choices these days, and the patient care is what it’s all about.

I have extremely small thin veins. This lab gets it right first time every time. It runs like a clock from Gina at front desk to all the lab techs. It makes my whole experience much more relaxing. Thank you.

It’s never a good time going to the lab. On those days, I rely on the staff at Glen Cove Lab. In particular, Genna, who is the lab manager. She is kind, considerate, patient, and puts herself in your shoes, so she understands what patients are going through. I have been through a lot lately, with my health, and I seem to see Genna more than my own family.Genna, if you ever read this, thank you for being so human, decent and kind during such a difficult time in my life. There has been great improvement in this facility. Staff is friendly and caring. If you don’t need to fast you can go later in the day and get in and out very quickly. Much busier early in the day when fasting is required for bloodwork. It’s no fun and not easy to have lots of tests done but much easier on our emotional health when treated with dignity, care and kindness. Thank you.

I wanted to compliment the medical technician who performed my blood draw this morning. She was so adept and quick, that I did not feel a thing during the procedure. I usually get faint when they draw blood but with this technician I didn’t get faint at all and I was out the door before I knew it. She’s a great asset to that lab and I hope they appreciate her!!

This lab provides fast, efficient and professional treatment! The lab technician was courteous and extremely adept at drawing blood sample. It was quick and absolutely painless! Great experience!

This is my go-to lab for bloodwork. The wait times are always reasonable. I like that I can check in online to make the wait time shorter. Today’s visit was extremely quick and pleasant. Most people have difficulty getting to my vein on the first try, but not Genna. Everytime I see Genna she makes my visit as quick and painless as possible. She’s very good at what she does. She’s also extremely nice and friendly. I highly recommend this lab.

This place is wonderful except for the phlebotomist that attempted to draw my blood today. Whatever you do dont let Maria touch you. She will fish for your vein and then get an attitude with you if you ask her to stop. She said shes been doing this for 22 years. Impossible. Jenna is the sweetest one there and most of the other phlebotomist I have had never had a problem. Otherwise this place is great. They get you in and out quick even if you are a Walk in. Jenna deserves a raise. Very friendly and excellent patient care! Thank you!

I come to this lab every month for blood work.. everyone there is patient kind and gentle .. I absolutely love Jenna , she usually is the one to do my blood . She has the best personality she is the sweetest and so wonderful at what she does .. I usually bring my son and she always gives him stickers and she always makes me feel at ease , she’s quick it’s painless and She is fabulous at what she does . I only go here for blood work . Highly recommend Jenna !!!
