I wish I could give him zero stars. Dr. Mark Preslan is a despicable human being. He refused to see my 5 year old nephew who is nonverbal and living with autism. He would not do an eye exam for him, even though he wrote his original Rx for the glasses he has now. He has trouble seeing even with his glasses and he refused him care. He made comments about my nephews behavior- he gets anxious at the dr like MOST children. How is the world can you call yourself a dr a refuse care to a small child with special needs?! We will be removing him from our referral list. HE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST MY NEPHEW HE IS AN ABELIST AND A PIG!

The service is good. But they dont care why you are late. We have being late maybe 2-3 (but I always called to let them know I was late). I have to work then take my kid to her appointment. From work I go home to pick up my girl then go to her appointment. The lady told me because it was not the first time. So they canceled the appointment. I lost the rest my day of work. She didnt have a good attitude. If I can find another place for my girl. I wont come back to this place.

I was skeptical at 1st because of the comments about him being mean to kids but decided to try because of the positives on his work. I figured an attitude can be changed/adjusted. Best decision ! Dr Preslan was actually my 2nd opinion. The first dr we saw literally told me nothing was wrong with my daughters eyes , even after showing video footage. Like seriously ? But from day 1 Dr Preslan was cool and before I even brought it up he told me I was not seeing things.(By this time I had more videos,lol) Long story short my daughter got her eye surgery today , it went well and I would definitely recommend him ! !

The negative comments about this man I cannot believe .I took my daughter to him for help an all he has done has helped her. beyond what he has been paid for !!! above an beyond he an the staff has went for her . he is a good man an a good doctor.

Honestly, I am not sure why he is a pediatric ophthalmologist because he is not good with kids. My daughter got assessed at 3/4 years old and couldn’t sit still. Instead of creating trust with her, he spoke down to me and was more concerned that she might get into his things. So the next visit I brought my husband, and it was interesting that we got a little bit better treatment with male presence. The only reason I gave him 2 stars is because he is good at the technical side of his job, and helped with the diagnosis of my daughter’s eye. I ended up getting a second opinion because I didn’t trust him as an overall person.

Dr. Preslan is wonderful and has been seeing our 3-year-old son for almost 2 years now. Our son loves him, anytime we are going to any doctor (pediatrician, dentist, etc) he asks Can we go see Dr. Preslan instead? Lol He also just did my sons strabismus surgery and it went great. Highly recommend him!

Dr.Preslan is the best eye doctor I could ask for , for my daughter! He is very straight to the point with her & me which I love ! He did her surgery this morning and it went so smooth and he walked us through every step of the way even went out of his way and called us that night to check up on her ! We will be with dr preslan for life !

The previous reviews don’t reflect how wonderful this practice is. The staff was phenomenal. Dr Preslan exceeded our expectations. Our 3 year old doesn’t like appointments and the staff was wonderful with him. Scheduling was efficient, office was clean, staff was professional. I would highly recommend this practice.

We have been going to Dr. Preslan for several years. He’s very thorough and proactive. He noticed and treated an issue with my son’s eye early on. My son had to have surgery with him recently and he couldn’t have been nicer. I would absolutely recommend seeing him.

These negative reviews have to be from competitors. I wish all Doctors were as kind and patient as Mark Preslan! He is amazing with my son and has been seeing him for 11 years. He is incredibly knowledgeable about my sons amblyopia strabismus. After my first appointment he even offered to have my husband call his personal number on christmas eve because I was so upset about my sons diagnosis and my husband wasnt there. He is thoughtful, generous and incredible with kids. Ive trusted him with my whole world and he has not disappointed me.

I love Dr. Preslan, He has seen all three of my girls and operated twice on one of my daughters. The only reason they cannot continue to see him is because we moved to a different state. He is a wonderful doctor and I have and will continue to refer his office.

Dr Preslan is a very unkind doctor and shouldnt be dealing with children. He was so mean to my autistic son!!!. We will never visit him again. His assistants were all nice. He should learn how to be kind and friendly with children.

Worst ever. 1st Visit was told a fee was covered by my insurance and not to worry about it, told them to double check cause I didnt want a bill stating other wise and front desk verified and finished appointment. Granted had 3 other people filling same slot so time is not dedicated to just you. Month later got a bill for the dont worry about it situation. Called up to find out why and what happened and all I got was fine we will just send it to collections and hung up on me and refused to answer my call there on. Called Preslan number on the message. Although had phone problems didnt speak till 2nd appointment and he said either pay or go home, he said I told her to say that to just get you to sign the paperwork. Then he said I gave the front desk lady a hard time about how I asked what I was signing and claimed what I was signing he didnt give me. Gave me very big attitude about that and it is my given right to know and ask about what I am singing not someone who expects me just to sign anything not knowing what it is. He didnt give a care about my son except the money coming out of my pocket. After the appointment he tried to be a good guy and already burned his bridges with me. If you want someone who just wants to take your money and expect you to be a sheep and not question things then go for it, if not find someone else.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Preslan and his team. Before my sons initial appointment, I was fairly concerned about taking him because of previous reviews and because my son is Autistic and has a hard time with eye appointments. I decided to take him anyways and I am thankful that I decided to see for myself because Dr. Preslan was absolutely wonderful with my son despite my son having difficulty with eye drops and other things. Also, the evening of my sons surgery, Dr. Perslan had personally called me to see if Kai was doing well. We have visited his office several times now and we have always had great experiences. All of his office staff is wonderful as well and my son no longer fears going to the eye doctor.

My wife and three month old had a very positive experience with Dr. Preslans Practice. We were able to make a new patient appointment over the phone in a matter of minutes for our son. This practice also has a cancellation list, which helped us secure an earlier appointment. The staff inside is polite, friendly, and delightful. We found Dr. Preslan to be very knowledgeable and professional. Our wait time was negligible. I would highly recommend this practice for pediatric ophthalmology needs.

Great Dr. He knows what he is doing and gets it done. My daughter likes him a lot too.

We had a horrible experience taking two of our young (2 and 3 year old) children to Dr. Preslan. Our childrens eyes have been crossing, which can be a very worrisome condition. Dr. Preslan had ZERO bedside manner, did not communicate what he was doing or finding as he was examining my children, and he was not good with the children. My childrens pediatrician urged us strongly that our children should be seen immediately, because the crossing can be very serious, and even the least serious cause should require intervention. Dr. Preslan said that he would not suggest any intervention, just waiting it out. As a mother, my fears were not assuaged in the slightest. I will be seeking a second opinion, and Im highly upset that I had to pay even a co-pay to be seen by this man.

Horrible experience! I was written for a 9:45am appointment on a return appointment card and in their system they scheduled me for a 9:30am not to my knowledge. I arrived 10 min late due to a turn around with a detour and when I arrived the front desk lady Courtney was extremely rude upon my arrival I didnt understand why and figured it was a persona issue she was having.After seeing a patient just arrive and be seen before we were I asked her how much longer we were to wait she said they have a full day and that I was a half hour late?!? and its up to the dr of the flow. Thats when I showed her my return appointment card and she replied the system says 9:30am.My daughter would have missed a full day of school. She (Courtney) did not apologize for the mistake on their part for the scheduling just continued with an attitude. I cx and called for another referral from my doctor. If I could give a 1/2 star I would because one star isnt even worth it.

Great front desk staff, especially Sarah. Went out of her way to help us with medications and scheduling surgery. Dr. Preslan was professional and knowledgable.

Won’t be back. If you are rude to my kid, you won’t get my business.

Horrible Dr, took my 3 yr old girl just because my pediatrician gave me a referal. He didnt took the time to make her feel less frightened he was rough and he should rethink about working with kids, was completely vague about her exam when it came to explain his findings. The office staff is friendly enough but sadly the Dr is not. I woud never go back there or will recommend this place to anyone.Worst eye Dr Ive seen in my life and Ive been wearing glasses since I was 13. This Dr should realized that there are so many more eye pediatric Drs out there and hes not the only one.

Dr Preslan and his staff are friendly, patient and well organized. No wait!

He IS rude to the children , until I read these reviews I thought we were the only ones subjected to his horrible demeanor . However , he operated on my son and did an amazing job . Havent been back because of insurance reasons , but might try him again .
