I am not one for seeing doctors and I wait until the last moment to even schedule an appt. I had not seen a doctor in over 8 years when I had the sad pleasure of selecting Dr. Boggs, and it made me not want to ever go back again.. which I didn’t. I told her everything that was going on and she focused on nothing since I was the last appt of the day. Two years later my symptoms have worsened and went to my prior physician which was two hours away and I have since been diagnosed with Cancer. Maybe had she Even did a urine screen, which I mentioned blood in my urine and pain while urinating, I could have caught it earlier. But again, I was the last appt of the day and she didn’t even bother to do a urine screen.
Dr. Boggs is a wonderful physician and she listens to her patients concerns. However, I wish more physicians as well as Dr. Boggs talked more about the benefits of maintain a healthier life style instead of prescription medication being the main topic to control certain conditions.First, take a look at what we can do over the counter and for ourselves.I can say when I come in with solutions and / or suggestions she takes me serious and she will take the time to discuss the pro and cons.Excellent primary Care physician- if you ended up waiting its worth it.
Excellent Family Doc! Sometimes waits are long, but worth the level of service
Been going to Dr. Boggs for 8 years. Always there when needed. Listen well. Has grear diagnostic skills. Gr.eat referrals. You wont be sorry.
A simple blood test would have given the diagnosis. Did not happen. Months of suffering and money spent on unnecessary tests.
Dr. Boggs has been my doctor for over a decade. I have been fortunate to rarely need her, but have seen her at least once/year for physical etc, and she is always very attentive, concerned, and asks great questions.
