Dr. Meena is a wonderful doctor. I was involved in a car accident in December and hurt my neck and shoulder. Visit two other doctors (didn’t listen to my symptoms carefully) before find her, she is easy to talk with and sincerely care about my pain and problems. I’ve recommended her to family, friends, and co-workers. Also, I have never had any problem getting in and make an appointment with her office.Her staff are pretty kind, polite and quick to return calls. Thank you

Its been a really long time that a Doctor actually sat down and listened and explained things without feeling rushed. When I have to wait a few minutes, it just means she is giving exceptional care to another patient. Her staff is super friendly and easy to work with. I am so grateful to have found them!

I was referred a few years ago to Dr. Meena by a close friend and himself a doctor. I was looking for a PC and Dr. Meena came highly recommended. From the first visit I was put at ease with her gentle bedside manner, keen ability to listen and feeling that she was wholly interested in my well being.To properly diagnose a problem, Dr. Meena takes the time to ask pertinent questions and develop a wellness plan. Her knowledge of the human body, prescriptions and possible interactions are mystifying. Additionally, Dr. Meena is able to provide medical information in laymans terms in a way that you dont feel talked down to or left not knowing what was said between all the medical jargon.I truly am grateful to have found Dr. Meena and to be under her care. I trust her implicitly with my health and appreciate the fact that when needed, she is quick to refer you to a specialist to further address a specific ailment. There is absolutely no issue I would hesitate to discuss with Dr. Meena.In each visit, I feel as though Dr. Meena takes the time to review my chart, research options or care plans, and is focused on me and my health. Too often you run into busy doctors who read the chart as they enter the room and quickly diagnose you and leave. Ive never felt rushed, nor neglected, while at Excel Primary Care.Finally, her support staff is attentive, responsive and equally mild-mannered helping you through what could be stressful or uncomfortable times. The only area for improvement I could recommend is adding an online bill pay option. Minor item, but that would bring this practice to ultimate perfection!

Dr. Meena is excellent! The staff at Excel Primary Care is also excellent. I have been an engineer for 30+ years and I want detailed information for anything important in my life, such as health issues. Dr. Meena always evaluates my health issues in great detail and is very good at explaining the need for the evaluations and the results. I have had other doctors that were well polished and I had pleasant visits with them, but after I thought about it, I really didnt get the information I wanted. My search for a doctor is not a personality test, I want a medical professional that is extremely thorough and I found that with Dr. Meena.

To start, the front desk girls were so kind and courteous to me from the moment I walked in! I can never find a doctors office where the entire staff is genuinely friendly, and they totally proved that they were all welcoming and cared about me. Once I met with Dr Meena I was so happy that I found a doctor who made me feel comfortable. Doctors visits aren’t always the most fun experience but she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had the Lip Lase done about 2 weeks ago and I can say I am super impressed!! I had lip fills done about 1 1/2 years ago and I didnt notice but of a difference after the swelling went down. The left side of my lip is a lot smaller then the right side. Dr. Meena was able to do a lip lift and the Lip Lase together. The Lip Lift was able to pull my arch up to match the right side, while the lip Lase gave me a beautiful plump look. Even after just 1 treatment I am completely happy and I cant wait to finish out my treatments! I would totally recommend for a lip lase or any other laser treatments! She does Skin Tightening, Face lift, and so much more! Best part was I was in and out and on with my day.. No down time!!

Dr. Venugopal is a wonderful physician! I speak from experience as a shadowing nurse practitioner student, as well as a patient. She genuinely cares for her patients and their wellbeing. She takes her time with each patient, carefully listening to their needs, wants, and concerns. Dr. Meenas knowledge is vast, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, aesthetics to diet/behavioral modification, and everything in between. I highly recommended her!

Dr. Meena really listens to her patients. I came to her with a common problem but with an unusual request to fix it. I have had this problem before, when I told her what worked and what didn’t work she said scientifically that can’t be. But she ran my blood work and did her own research and found some cases Like mine. Weather this treatment works like it did last time or not I appreciated her doing research and listening to me. She really cares about her patients well being.

Im updating this review with more information a year after I initially posted.I wish I could give this practice more than five stars. Dr. Meena is an excellent example of a doctor who truly cares about her patients. Shes knowledgable, professional, compassionate, and is very easy to communicate with. I am a difficult case, but I have never once felt like she had given up on helping me feel better. She goes so far above and beyond to help me, trying new things and researching on her own. On the front office side, her staff is very friendly and easy to get ahold of for any issues I run into. I truly am so thankful that I found Dr. Meena and her staff!

I struggled to find a PCP that I was comfortable with until I met Dr.Meena. She made me feel comfortable and her staff was friendly. I know I am well taken care of when I visit her office and will continue to use her for years to come.

Dr. Meena is the best doctor I have taken my mother to. She is always finding ways to help her out on her medication and labs. The doctor is fantastic. I have participated in the weight loss and have achieved over 40 pound loss. I have done the stomach laser which is tightened all my skin. Ive also done the facial lift and the neck tighting and will be doing the rosaceous treatments.The doctor is kind considerate and does the procedures herself always looking out for the comfort the patient. Excel Primary Care has been my primary care physician for well over 10 years. I moved 4 years ago and drive 45 minutes one way to still go there. Dr. Meena Venugopal is the best Doctor I have had since My Uncle quit practicing. Always available to see you. My family moved to Gilbert, AZ in 2003 from Washington DC, and my boys were 3 and 6 at the time. I tried many Doctors Offices until God sent us to Dr. Venugopal in 2007!!! Will not leave her !!! She is the best... she stops at nothing... She will find and fix whatever may be going on with you. My 2 boys now almost 25 and 21 still come to her and they say they are not going anywhere else any time soon. My husband and our boys are super blessed to have found Excel Primary Care! I have been going to Excel Primary care for over 8 years. Dr. Meena has been one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. In her office I am not just another patient who she rushes in and out of the room to see. She takes her time and listens. I have been healthier under her care than I have under any other doctor, my long standing relationship with her means she knows me not just as a patient but as a person and gets to know my personal health concerns and idiosyncrasies. It took me years to find a doctor that would help me deal with a reoccurring infection that other doctors didn’t have the patience to deal with. She listened, we tried different therapy’s and finally had long term success in managing the issue.Her staff is steady and reliable. She has very little turn over from what I have witnessed. Over the years they’ve helped me work through insurance issues, lack of insurance and billing problems. They are patient and caring. I have never been turned down for an appointment even on the same day. If you are feeling poorly and need to see Dr. Meena she will fit you in and make sure you get the care you need. I once even showed up at 8am miserable in hopes of avoiding urgent care and sure enough they saw me immediately. On that note, they also are very timely with appointments, I never wait too long.In short, Dr. Meena and her staff are awesome! 5 stars is not enough.

Dr. Meena helped me through my lyme disease when I first came to her earlier this year. What sets her apart is the care in each visit she gives. Shes a good listener and doesnt treat you like a number, and a paycheck.

I have seen Dr. Meena as a PCP for years. When she announced that she would be offering aesthetics I was thrilled. I have looked in to other MedSpas and procedures but was not 100% sold on the thought of spending the money and the confidence of the provider and staff that I met with. With knowing Dr. Meena and staff as a PCP set me at ease knowing I was in good hands.I got the 4D Facial and saw a major difference within the first week. My skin glowed and it seemed to take years off my face. I couldnt wait to finish all 3 of the sessions. The procedure was a cake walk, Dr. Meena made me very comfortable and checked in with me often to make sure I was doing okay. There are 4 steps to the procedure during the last step with the hum of the machine and the warmth of the laser I actually fell asleep.Since I was so pleased with this procedure, I wanted to look at the other procedures that were offered. I chose the IncontLase, I figured since we were in the area to also do the IntimaLase. As a mother of 3, sneezing, coughing and exercising were not fun as many may know. The procedure was very easy and painless and quick about 30 minutes. I noticed a difference with the incontinence right away. Sneezing and coughing, I no longer had to stop and cross my legs (if you have this problem you know what I am talking about). My partner has also commented that he has noticed a difference too.With both of these procedures being none surgical and being able to get back to my day to day activity as soon as I walked out the door was great. I recommend both of these to anyone questioning if they should move forward.

Ive been seeing Dr. Meena on a monthly basis for the past ten months, she has always be very caring and patient yet firm with me about getting my anxiety and blood pressure under control. I havent been on blood pressure meds in over a month and it may have taken a while but me finally found what works for my anxiety!! I am happier and healthier than I have been in years and I owe it all to Dr. Meena!! The staff has always been very nice and friendly to deal with.
