Although they kept my dog safe they didn’t provide grooming service when I requested this. I was gone for a weekend and they didn’t give me updates. I called to be given updates. If you’re expecting updates while you’re out of town or vacation this ain’t the place for it.

Our family has used this facility for services since they opened their doors… just about. I will say that prior to a change in management I was a bit weary as I had a couple of experiences in which they weren’t the most professional. At that time it two different managers. However… under the direction of Teya and her team: this place is phenomenal! They really value customer service and my entire family feels as if our dogs are loved and genuinely cared for. Would not use or recommend any other boarding facility in Arizona. Beware!

I 100% recommend Paw Commons. We have a beautiful 2 year old German Shephard, Callie, that started going to Day Care here. At first, she didnt do that well. She struggled to feel confident and didnt like when dogs entered her space, getting into little (non aggressive) fights. The employees helped create a plan for her where she could feel comfortable and have fun. After a few weeks of a consistent routine, she is loving day care! She feels confident and comes home so tired. I think the main reason why I love going here is because they truly love and care for my Callie. We walk in and they greet her with a big hello!They also have cameras which is nice when you want to check in. There is an outside area the dogs can go to and Callie loves it!

Left our dog for 14 days of training with Alexis and it was well worth it. Axl is a new dog, he is great at obeying and not jumping on us. He was very happy during his stay. They even accommodated us with last minute boarding because of a funeral. We would definitely recommend

We are new to the area and needed to go out of town! This place is amazing and so reasonably priced. Our baby came home smelling fresh, clean and smiling like a million bucks. They were attentive to her needing to be away from other dogs and the sign up process was so easy! Tasha will definitely be back. They definitely spoil the pups with chicken and rice and special tricks! Would recommend to anyone new, wanting a good place to board their pup! Appreciate your team!

We take our two dogs for grooming and doggy daycare and they seem to be happy campers playing around in the yard. Grooming services are too notch.

Wanted the best for our dogs when we went on vacation . This place had great reviews and we checked out many options before making our decision . Came home to dirty dogs with dried diarrhea on them , red bottoms and kennel cough . Might be a better day care than boarding . My first clue should have been the piles of hair in the lobby upon entry. We also had to tell the girls up front three times that we didn’t want our dogs turned out with the others because they aren’t used to that. Very disappointed and won’t go back . Two stars for getting them out of there .

Only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the receptionist was so nice. Had an 8am apt and the groomer didnt even show up until 915. As i was waiting, the receptionist took a phone call and another employee (girl with bright orange hair) walked in and asked if I had been helped, I asked are you the groomer? And she ROLLER HER EYES AND MADE A NOISE and turned her back on me and walked away. No apology from the groomer either when she finally rolled into work, didnt even act like she did anything wrong. Wanted to keep it cheap so I requested no extras like nail trimming, just bath and hair trim. $92 later I decided I had to write this review. Never coming back.

I took my 5 month old puppy here on Saturday for his evaluation for 5 hours, and monday for 9 hours. Man oh man, this place is amazing!!! Champ had the best time playing with the other dogs. When we come to pick him up, he is always exhausted and ready for a big nap!! We gave them his food for lunch, and he got a good break to eat and rest. The staff answered all of my questions and made sure my puppy was happy and having a great time. They even created a play plan for him so he can get human play time and doggy play time, because he can be a little much for other dogs haha. We love Pawcommons!!

My husband took our two LH dachshunds in for a bath/groom with an appointment. He specifically told the groomer Do not trim their ears, feet, and for one dog, just give him a small poop shoot. (His fur is very thin) Our 2nd baby has super Thick fur. With him, he asked for a lion trim. Well, I am so upset about how they look!! They both had their feet shaved. Their ears trimmed up to nowhere, and the entire back end of the 1st baby shaved. It looks as though a 5 yr old got a hold of him and chopped his fur.The Gilbert Paw Commons was so proud of having 50 yrs total experience with their groomers. They said they also do Show quality grooming!! Im not sure about our groomer. I believe this person is still learning!!I am so upset!! I know the fur will grow out, but in the meantime we have to look at our poor chopped up babies!!

The staff was very kind and informative! They kept us abreast of how our furbabies were dealing with their surroundings, they worked with our schedule and billing. It was a wonderful experience and we came back to happy, clean, and nail trimmed pups! The online cam view is always a plus. Thank you Junior at Paw Commons!!

My dog Waffle has been going to Paw Commons since they first opened their doors she loves going there has made many doggies friends, all of the staff including Camille and Crystal take such good care of my girl. In the morning all I gave to say is let’s to Paw Commons and she just get so excited and runs to my car. It makes my family to happy to that she is well taken at Paw Commons.

Duchess loves daycare and busts through those doors as soon as we walk up! By the time she’s home and eats she’s napping because of all the fun! Paw Commons is great, my pup gets to socialize and interact with other dogs and people. Shout out to Camille and Crysta for always having a bright inviting smile when we come in!

Our dogs, Lou and Max, absolutely LOVE when they get to go! And we love when they come back exhausted and happy hounds. :)I love they are out in a play area all day, supervised for safety, and able to check in on webcams. We have a basset and bloodhound, and while the basset could sleep on a couch all day, I have peace of mind knowing our bloodhound is able to romp around.It is a little pricey, but I we had some poor experiences at places that were a lot less...so after that, we will budget to know we are at a place we can trust! ❤️Highly recommend!

I love Paw Commons, I started taking my German shepherd puppy to doggie daycare since I am working from home. I haven’t had a puppy in a long time and with Covid didn’t have the opportunity to socialize her with other dogs and burn off some energy other than her daily walks. After the second day she was adjusted to being without me! 😊 I love the splash pad and big play areas, the staff is very attentive and friendly. Sheba is tired when she gets home so I know she’s had a lot of great play time! Great job to Dawn and her team being a trusted care giver for our fur babies! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have used both the boarding and the daycare and have been happy with both. One of our dogs is on special food and multiple medications, and they easily accomodate his needs. Our puppy goes to daycare a couple of days a week to burn some energy and cant wait to go! The staff always communicates if there are questions or a problem and they love to tell me all about his day.

The dogs love coming and the staff is always so friendly. They look forward to seeing the dogs as much as the dogs look forward to going. It’s always clean and the check in is easy every time. We couldn’t recommend it more.

They handle my dog very well. What I love most about them is my dog doesnt always get along with other dogs but they still take her and they just separate her from the other dogs and play with her individually. So she doesnt get stuck in isolation like some places do.

I have a very active 20 month old miniature schnauzer. Finn loves spending the day here! From the moment we walk in and he sees his favorite girls are working, he’s ready to go! When we check the web cam, he is usually socializing either the big dogs! When I pick him up, the ride home is pretty quiet as he’s ready for a nap. I love Paw Commons. My dog stays here when I go out of town, and gets grooming here as well. I’m not there so I don’t know for sure, but my dog is always happy and we’ll fed, signs that they take great care of him. He knows when we are going there and knows the drill. He loves it!

My dog is only comfortable around the good people at paws commons gilbert when away from home. literally the only people he not only tolerates, but likes. they are amazing with observations and communication with us. they are also both caring and responsible. i say they because every employee there is fantastic. no searching for the one person you like because the team is fantastic. my dog looks forward to going. he is always tuckered out for the evening. he literally fell asleep while playing with his stuffed animal last night!

Super easy to drop off our puppy and he loves every minute he gets to stay. Being able to check in via webcam is a fun way to keep an eye on him through the day and the helpful staff will give their perspective on the day if asked when picking him up.

I have never felt more comfortable leaving our dog with anyone until I met the staff at the Gilbert location. They all know my dog by her name and report to me her status for the day. The video cams set up allow me to check on her at will. Some of the staff members such as Camille, Crysta and Ryleigh are examples of the quality that exists at Paws. Actually the whole staff needs to be recognized as well.If you love your doggie pick Pet Commons for their care.

I love this place! Everyone who works there is so friendly and nice. Our dogs have been boarded, groomed and currently attend half-day daycare once a week! I love that they have cameras in the play area so I can check in on the dogs like the crazy dog mom I am :)

My dog has been there a handful of times and everytime he ends up getting kennel cough. Although it’s not something that can be foreseen unfortunately we will not be returning. Every time we have been there he comes home with it and it’s not easy seeing him so down and sick. We’ve always had a good experience there, everyone is very nice and professional but I won’t be returning due to how sick my dog got from spending the day there. :(

Wow! Took my 16 month old weim, Libby in for evaluation and she was having so much fun we let her stay and play while we had lunch in downtown Gilbert. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and interactive with dogs. I love that I can peek in on her via the web cam from my phone! Will definitely return and also use to board instead of a dog sitter coming to my home which I have done in the past because she gets more play time at Paw Commons.

My pet Kalhua has been going to Paw Commons Gilbert for almost 2 years, she is always excited to go play with her friends. The staff knows her well and treat her very very well. I have no complaints about this place I have also used their grooming and boarding services both were excellent just like the day care.

There were too many dogs for the amount of trainers/staff on site. PLEASE make sure your dog is up to date on his vaccines. My dog just had his a few months ago and still got Kennel Cough from here - it’s been awful!

I boarded my 6 month old Australian Sheperd here for 7 days. I really enjoyed being able to peek in on him using the webcams. They also have a really handy text option to check in on your fur babies. A huge huge thank you to Taya. She was super friendly, kind and patient. She took her time showing me around and explaining everything. She was absolutely fantastic and deserves a raise! We will definitely be coming back!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. Id give this place zero stars if I could. So unprofessional and the groomer is not qualified. They lied to me on the phone, called me multiple times to ask me the same question, made me spend $250 at the vet getting all sorts of vaccines they require, and then wouldnt even groom my dog. Unbelievable. An absolute joke of an establishment. My dog is 7 lbs soaking wet and they couldnt handle her. Absolute waste of my time.

Everyone here is super friendly and our dog practically jumps out of the car when we pull in the parking lot. Only reason that this isnt 5 starts is because the hours arent very convenient. I start pretty early which I think is typical in the valley, and my wife has to take him in even though I drive right by every morning.

Like others, I cant say enough positive things about Paw Commons. Im new to the area, having just moved from Colorado. I have two dogs, one who is extremely anxious and fearful of people. Ive visited several pet resorts in the area, hoping to find a place that might work. From the minute I walked into Paw Commons, I immediately felt at ease. The people here are genuinely caring and made every accommodation to ensure my pets felt as comfortable as possible. Better yet, they didnt make me feel crazy for my own anxiety over leaving them. Dawn was especially caring, having had extensive experience with fearful dogs herself - it was clear she truly cared about gaining trust with my own fearful pup. While she is the person Ive spent the most time with, I can tell by my interactions with different folks that the rest of the team is just as wonderful. I have participated in daycare so far and now feel completely comfortable boarding them here when I am gone for a week over the holidays. Ill be traveling a lot next year and I am so relieved to have found this place. Oh, and added bonus - the place is spotless and just plain nice inside. Highly recommend.

I took my pet here for the first time and they recognized her personality and her favorite activity”belly rub!” It makes my family & I very at ease that my pet is getting the care while she’s away from home. Highly recommended!

Our GSD puppy loves it here! She gets so excited in the morning when it gets closer to the time to leave for the daycare and runs to the vehicle. Very clean, awesome and friendly staff who actually interact and play with your pup unlike other places. The location is convenient for downtown Scottsdale employees and residents. They take great care of our girl and would highly recommend it for your non-aggressive dog. They do not accept aggressive dogs at this location.

Two of our pups stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. I loved the fact that we could check in via text (or call) on how they were doing (I am a crazy dog mom) and also watch them on the doggy cams in the play area. Great staff, everyone is friendly. It is always scary leaving your dogs in the hands of strangers but everyone at Paw Commons is awesome and really do love dogs and care for them.Edit: just wanted to add, I do wish that some of the employees would interact with the dogs more. I have watched the cameras at other locations, and there seems to be more interactions with the employees and dogs. There are a few who do at Gilbert, but some people just kind of ignore them. Its okay to pet them, you know.

I wanted to give them a 5 my pup seems to have had a great time staying with them for 5 days however I went to get her toys (because after I paid I saw they were missing)and they said someone else took them home. They cannot find them they were 15 $ dollar toys and both were gone. They didnt offer to give me another toy for my dog they just said Im sorry. They must have went home with another person. discount me or give me 2 other toys from your store dont just apologize. Super upset about this I wont be going back .

I am always very reluctant to board my fur baby. I am new to the area and researched boarding facility online. I visited on the fly and the staff didnt skip a beat at giving me an impromptu tour. It is very clean and doesnt smell--something I always look for. The staff was very knowledgeable and happy. ALL the pups were happy and having a ball. I also love the web cams, although they can be very addicting! :) I will definitely board here again. Thanks!

We left our Basset Hound overnight with Paw Commons for a two night stay. We were really worried about our dog because we were new to the area and we have never had to board him before. Paw Commons was amazing for us and our Basset Hound, they had video streaming where we could check on our dog throughout the day. Our dog loved his stay there and we loved the care and kindness the staff had towards us and our dog. It was also so comforting the next time we called they remembered us and our dog.We recommend Paw Commons as a safe and great place to leave your dog.

Decided to try out this groomers for our huskies since they are blowing their coats and is just getting too much for us to take care of at home so we thought wed try a groomers. I am not impressed by this place. They seemed nice and for a basic grooming (bath/brush) it was only $25 which is good for a one income family and huskies. We called them this past Saturday to get one of them in and whenever we told them when we were looking to come in they said they would have a groomer call us back to schedule us (odd isnt that the receptionists job?) okay thank you...No call back 40 minutes later so we call them back to see again if they had any openings and they finally scheduled us. We take him in and ask how long it would be and they said shouldnt be no more than 2 hours and they would give us a 20 minute heads up call when they are finishing up. 2.5 hours later we call them back to see how much longer he would be and again we were told a groomer would call us back. We got no call so we decided to just head down there ourselves and he ended up being done but they never called us to let us know. Yesterday we call again to try to get one of our others in (we originally wasnt going to take her in because she isnt shedding just dirty but we decided that since it wasnt too much wed just have them do it so she can get blow dried too so we dont have wet dog smell in the house) Got told the same thing, a groomer would call us back. Hour later no call so I call them back again and told them I am still waiting on a call and would like to get my dog scheduled for this week sometime and was told sorry and got put on hold for a half hour then lady came back and said that she will have to have a groomer call me back they were busy and hung up. Never got a phone call. I find this very unprofessional and I am very confused why the person answering the phones cant schedule people, isnt that their job? I gave 2 stars because they at least did a good job grooming him, he was still shedding pretty good when we got home but figure they did enough and we can finish. I am mainly upset that they tell you they will call you back but never call you back. I even made sure they double checked our numbers to make sure they were correct.

I will only take my pets to Paw Commons to be boarded. Theyve taken such good care of our dog, and they are extremely transparent - so many cameras to view your pet frolicking with other dogs throughout the day. Friendly and caring staff; very helpful, too. There is not a better pet boarding facility in the entirety of Gilbert, AZ.

I love this place! My dog is very apprehensive about strangers and they make her feel like she’s with family. She’s always happy there and I love that I can see her on the webcam when I want to. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I am so glad I found this place. It has been so helpful in getting my domestic terrorist lab puppy some social skills and is a great way to burn off energy. The staff is wonderful and I have zero anxiety about the level of care we receive here. Charlie LOVES this place.

How many other dog kennels have you heard of that Dogs love to go to? My dogs are well taken care off and loved by the staff. I do not have to worry about them at all when I drop them off. This is the third kennel we have tried in the east valley and I will never go anywhere else. Thank you Paw Commons!

We’ve used Paw Commons for both overnight stays and day care, and I have to say they are wonderful! We were very nervous to leave our pup at first, because she had a history of nervousness around other dogs and people...but the staff were very helpful, safety conscious, and attentive to her needs. As a result, after a short period of time, our Angel was able to enter the play yard with the other dogs, and she enjoys her visits every time! We also love being able to watch her on the live camera feed. It gives us peace of mind and brings a smile to our faces as we watch her play. We couldn’t be happier with the loving care and attention provided by Paw Commons!

Paw commons always takes the best care of our husky while were out of town. One trip he wasnt eating so they called us and asked if they could give him some chicken and rice.

This was only our second experience leaving our 75lb boxer doberman with a boarding facility and I am happy to say it went really well. While on vacation we were able to watch her play on the cameras and she was having a great time and was obviously set up with dogs that shared her personality and temperament during her scheduled play times. We will definitely be taking her back here when we need to.

Clean and well kept. I have helped them with maintenance. They try to keep it safe and in working order for staff and visitors. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was impressed by services they provide.

My dog was very happy there. He stayed for two nights when we went on a trip. The staff was very nice and they had a lot of options to add to make the stay comfortable for our dog.

This was our pets first visit to a doggy day care facility and the staff did a great job of helping him acclimate to the new surroundings. The staff really care about the dogs here and were a pleasure to do business with.

I do like this place they take good care of my dog. Their hidden fees are frustrating. They need to be more transparent. After several visits they tell me there is a $5 fee to feed my dog lunch-even if its my own food. They are the only dog daycare that charges this fee and it is not listed anywhere on any of their pricing. Even Petsmart includes food in their normal pricing (PetSmart 6 hour 1/2 day is the closest comparable price but no webcam). So I didnt pay the fee during my first punch card because I wasnt told about it. I just feed my dog before and after.In response to the below comment yes they did waive the fee during my 1st card so thank you . And yes they are adding mandatory liability insurance to boarding despite it not being posted anywhere. I’m not sure if it was waived for the woman I mentioned I didn’t hear the person offer that. It yes if someone is not told about a fee it should be waived.There was a woman checking in a dog there (I assume for boarding) and there was a mandatory fee on there that was not previously disclosed. The woman asked why she wasnt told about the fee and the employee said I dont know. Stop tacking on fees that you do not have listed anywhere and you people over the phone. Its bad business.The hours, location and web came work for me and its a good deal when you buy the punch card when they have specials.At the end of the day they take good care of my pup. The service is good and friendly and thats the most important.thank you

Lack of communication! I talked to one of the staff on the phone, told her everything about my new puppy, she scheduled me. When I went there, they refused to take in and groom my puppy cause I owned him for less than 30 days! They could have told me that when scheduling my appointment! I had to take him back home during rush hours, leave him alone for the whole day, and got to work more than an hour late. I missed a very important meeting that day!

Professional pet groomer. Did a great job with my 82 pound dog. Nails clipped, and a nice citrus smelling shampoo.

Our two golden doodles, Jack and Tucker, love Paw Commons Gilbert. They have such a good time here that they cant wait to be dropped off. We love the kind staff and we know they are safe and secure.

Paw Commons is so great! The staff is very friendly and always accommodating. My pup Waffles isn’t very social so they spend time with her privately to cuddle! ( which makes me know we are leaving her is great hands!) just recently we were rushing out of town, totally forgot about the time we needed to drop our pup off by, they called and stayed open for us to bring her! If things couldn’t get worse, her dog food had gone bad (long story) and they went out and bought her dog food so we didn’t have to worry about it! Can we say LIFE SAVERS!Love Paw Commons! Ive been sending my dog to paw commons camp for the past two years. He loves it and the team there are all very nice. Ive recently have become concerned about the cleanliness of the dog camp space and the smell. The cleanups in the camp space do not appear to be as quick as it use to be in the past from what I see on camera. Dogs are seen on camera eating feces as recently as this week and stepping in urine puddles that are not cleaned up quickly. The clean up needs to quicker. While I dont expect my dog to come home super clean from a day at camp, especially given the number of dogs enclosed in one area, I also dont expect him to come home smelling so awful each day and with black dirty feet. We love paw commons and hope they listen to the feedback provided by one of their valuable customers.

My husband and I have an 11 month old husky who we had previously boarded at petsmart and had an awful experience (he was so anxious there that he had chewed the tops of his paws bloody and upon picking him up, he peed longer than I’ve ever seen him pee and it was dark), so I was nervous about boarding him anywhere in general. Paw commons was wonderful. We took him to daycare for a day before boarding him and he had so much fun and was so worn out, which was great; those that have huskies know it can be tough to get them the exercise and stimulation they need! We picked him up today after four nights and he seemed very happy and well taken care of. I love that we can watch him on the web cam as well. The only reason for four instead of five stars is because I felt the pricing was a little much : $10 extra per night ($38) during the holiday season, plus the added $20-25 a day for group play time, putting the total at about $60-65 a night. I am likely going to try him at another place that had awesome reviews that doesn’t charge extra for the playtime, but I will say that knowing my puppy was okay and having fun while I was away, made the price worth it in the end. If nothing else, my husband and I will likely continue to take him weekly for daycare, as my puppy has fun and gets sufficient exercise and stimulation, and all of the staff seem to genuinely care for and love dogs which puts my mind at ease. Overall, I would definitely recommend paw commons and have been telling my friends and family about it.
