The staff at the Gentle Dental Crossroads offices are nothing less than top professionals. From the staff in the front office area to the Dental Hygienists, Dentists, and Assistants are ALL top notch. I can honestly say that I enjoy going there and Im completely at ease. I have been to this location several times and the service has been consistent at each visit! The entire staff is very friendly and professional! Check in is fast and wait time was under 10 minutes. The staff explains all details and makes sure procedures, charges etc are understood. I recommend this location if you want GREAT, PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY TREATMENT!!

If anyone out there has anxiety like me, I highly recommend visiting this location. The entire staff from front desk, dental assistant, hygienist and Doctor Lee were incredibly accommodating and made me feel very comfortable. I cannot stress enough what a pleasant experience I had there. I am very thankful for their kindness and attention to detail. I am a customer for life now!

Went in for my routine cleaning with Sohaila. She is wonderful. Always enjoy working with her and chatting it up. The manager and staff at the desk are great! Called this location to simply ask if they provide nitrous gas (laughing gas) for dental procedures and the guy who answered the phone there was very rude. He would not answer me until I provided him with my contact information, name and insurance information. He was very pushy and had a bad attitude, then hung up on me when I said that’s not needed at this time. All that information is not required for a yes or no simple answer. What a joke. Long story short, because of him I will now let everyone know this place has horrible customer service and to not go here!

I have nothing but good things to say about this office and the staff. My son and I moved to this dental office after a very bad first dental experience for my son. My son had swollen gums and they got us in immediately and performed a debridement same day. They were so good with my son and the staff was so kind and caring. They made getting our insurance switched really easy and I’ve been to a lot of dentists. Superb service and thank you so much for making my sons dental experience such a great one. Thank you also to the dentist for treating my son and the sweet lady at the front desk. Very happy to make this our home dentist.

Do not go to this place. This place will try to sell you everything that is not needed. I went for a checkup and they said I need a deep clean when I had mines done already not to long ago. My insurance can only be billed once per year for exams. Their Panoramic machine was down at the time of our visit so they only did an evaluation and billed my insurance as an exam. So when I was referred to a different Gentle Dental to remove my wisdom teeth, I was charged out of pocket for a Panoramic exam.

I had a very good experience yesterday. Everyone was helpful, especially the dentist and the hygienist, Ha. She is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and on top of my situation. Plus, she is very sweet and gentle. I am 75 and have spent a lot of time at the dentist and caring for my teeth, so I think I know what Im talking about. Thank you Gentle Dental.

I love Gentle Dental! The staff makes you feel so welcome and theres a great atmosphere right when you walk in. My kids always have a great experience when they go and they dont dread doing to the dentist. Today, I had a wonderful hygienist named Stephanie. She was thorough and made me comfortable. She went above and beyond by keeping my daughter entertained the entire time she was cleaning my teeth! If anyone is looking for a dentist in the East Valley, Gentle Dental is the way to go!

Im not afraid of going to the dentist anymore!!! Love Dr. Peggy Walker, she is so nice and always puts you at ease. I would be sad if she gets transferred to another office.They have a new dental hygienist named Kelly, shes a little quiet but I know that shes very good at what she does. My daughter was very very happy when she cleaned her teeth. She thinks shes the best. The staff is very very friendly especially Bonnie, the Dental office manager. She is so sweet and very helpful, I feel like I can talk to her forever.

This office used to be great and on point. They have since lost all of their top talent. The recruited a new dentist and all new staff. This place is now extremely disorganized and not upfront in their billing or practices. Please if you are looking for a new dentist keep looking. I have been going here for quite some time and will not be coming back.

This office was a great place to go to when my fathers teeth were hurting. Trust me when I say he is not a big fan of the dentist. However they gave him the best course of treatment and with an affordable price and the staff there was awesome with him. They handle him with a lot of care and explained everything in detail as far as what needed to be done. When they referred him to another office to get his teeth pulled they explained who were the doctors and what was going to be done. The front office was very welcoming and just made the whole experience great. Thank you!!!

Extremely unorganized. Scheduled my first appointment for regular checkup and cleaning. They ended up calling a few days before to reschedule.... not a big deal I guess. Get in for the checkup and cleaning and it takes an hour to get through paperwork. Then they tell me they aren’t going to do the cleaning, just the exam. Irritating. They schedule me for another day for the cleaning. Would have been nice to know ahead of time.Two hours before my 4pm cleaning appointment, they call to reschedule saying there is no one at the office to do the cleaning!! They really can’t figure this out earlier in the day??? Finally get in for the cleaning which goes decent although the hygienist is kinda messy getting toothpaste and water all over. Go to pay and they try to charge me $25 for fluoride treatment which I question and say that I think my insurance covers it. They say no. So I reluctantly agree to pay and check my insurance when I get home. Surprise surprise my insurance says they cover my fluoride treatment so I call gentle dental billing and they confirm with my insurance and tell me they will issue a refund. A week later, still no refund so I call again. They say they will have someone call back later in the day. I never get a call. Call back again 5 days later and they tell me again that they will have someone call me back.... that was today so we will see what happens.Also a little over a week after my second appointment I get a bill in the mail for $225 showing no insurance coverage. I call and they say “oops, looks like nobody ran your insurance, disregard the bill”.So unorganized. Seems borderline fraudulent. Apparently they are having some major “provider” issues which doesn’t surprise me. Ready to dispute the charge with my credit card company and won’t be going back. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. The only reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one is because their office is nice and clean.

The staff, dental hygienists, and Dr. Walker, all were caring and professional. The key to great care is explaining everything to make you comfortable with what needs to be done, then doing it thoroughly. We shall continue to recommend Gentle Dental for ALL ages.

I have been to several dentists over the years. So you can say I would be a good judge. I have never had such a caring and gentle dentist as Dr Sean Stevenson. He is amazing.

I went there for a cleaning and to replace a crown. The dentists are good. However the office staff kept upselling at every opportunity. Both the times I went there my estimated expenses more than doubled. I would rather they tell me upfront what to expect rather than surprising me. Nobody has thousands of dollars budgeted for dental expenses during the holiday season.

Very nice and professional staff. I used to be nervous in the dentist chair but not since I have changed to this dentist. Best cleanings that I have ever had. Once I became sick the day before my appointment and they changed it for me with no questions asked.

I wanna start by saying the Dentist is a great man but the receptionist!!! Should NOT have her job.. i will avoid that place like a plague!!! I gave a one star cos of the dentist.I wont be surprised if they have low patient volume... most definitely because she scares them away.. i just feel bad for the Dentist otherwise it would have been zero star! The receptionist does not follow instructions.. Regardless of what you tell her you want, she tries to get u to do something else and when you insist on getting what u asked for, she tried to make u feel bad for it! What kinda human being are you? I only wanted a cleaning and i wanted to pay for it, not use my insurance.. I clean my teeth 4 times a year but Insursnce only covers 2.. i alternate it.. She insisted on using the insurance!! She got annoyed because i declined Fluoride!! Lady.. Im breastfeeding!!! (Obviously doesnt not care about the patient, just money). She forced an examination saying i couldnt clean my teeth unless the doc examines my teeth.. so i did the examination, cleaned my teeth. Why did i com here? You may ask.. my regular hygienist is out of town so i figure let me try this location, its closer to my house wrong bargain! And then on the way out, the MA asked me if i was going to make my next appointment in front of everyone, F**k NO!! Im not coming back!! My husband tells me im too polite and normally, I would have said yes and cancel it later but i was just so annoyed that I couldnt say yes!! I cant begin to imagine how many people have been taken advantage off by this woman! i hope the Dentist knows, Shes his biggest downfall. Let me know when you get RID of the money gouging, RUDE receptionist! I think LIZ is her name!!

The dentist that work there were very knowledgeable and very clean office!. I’m from the Midwest and me and my family have been to the dentist plenty of times under the same insurance “policies”. I can strictly say that the Practice’s that work in this office and Manager are there to make money of there clients. I had a bad feeling on my first visit Also the receptionist and manager are very unorganized on the billing part hopefully the franchise or owners can give them the training they need to succeed.I gave them a second chance and signed up my wife and kids. My daughter went in for a cleaning and they never finished the cleaning process they only cleaned the back teeth not the front teeth of my daughter and when my wife asked the Dental hygienist that cleaned my daughter teeth she gave a response that she’s been doing this for 15 years and I think I know what I’m doing...really!! I should of listened to my gut on my first visit!!! The biggest thing on running a business is that you keep your clients happy and work with them and not make money of insurance companies!!! Good luck to that office location and Dr. Sam Shames & Dr. Ron Weissman on there franchise.
