If you are looking for a pediatrician who cares or a proactive office that help you manage your child’s healthcare, this is not a good choice! Luckily our child does not have lots of health issues, but the staff say “The physician is to busy to call you”. Even though we were in the office for a vaccine and simply wanted to share a few concerns with the physician, she was busy! If you are so busy you cannot appropriately care for children, find another occupation Dr Gipson!

Both of my young children go here and always have a great experience. Everyone we interact with is kind, attentive and communicates well. They respond quickly to both texts and phone calls and always call for follow up when needed, which is a huge plus for us!

Could not be more pleased than with Dr. Gibson and her entire staff. When my daughter was born we went to a different facility because we were in dallas and I was extremely displeased with the lack of compassion that the nurses had with my sweet baby but as soon as we moved to Georgetown and came to River Ridge we were immediately so grateful for the kindness and respect we were shown from the very beginning. They are so sweet even when giving shots. 15/10 would definitely reccommend this office to any new family.

We had the privilege of having our kids receive medical care from family members before we moved. Rachel and Dr. Gibson have been the next best thing to family! With 4 kids ranging in age from 5 to 16, weve had LOTS of needs and each one has been met with compassion and medical expertise; They follow up, they listen and they guide us in caring for our children. Im so thankful for River Ridge pediatrics.

I typically see a different doctor or certified nurse practitioner every appointment but that’s because they’re all great!!! I’ve been taking my daughter here since she was 3 months and she is 18 months now. Every appointment has been quick and to the point. Great office staff and very friendly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Not very pleased. Nothing wrong but nothing good. I can never get guidance over the phone or a quick consult and when I visit I’m told great information that does not assist my child specifically. I’m either told to come in or go to the Er but somethings can be answered with a consult. I often have to seek outside resources which is not good as I know better experiences.I believe this is a place that offers basic basic care... dissatisfied for sure or maybe it was my specific providersGood thing is the cleanliness and organization

My kids have seen both Dr. Gipson and Rachel and I love them both! It is very evident they care about your kids and are both extremely knowledgeable. It is easy to put my trust in them! Don’t want to go anywhere else!

Dr. Gipson is knowledgeable, caring, and generous with her time with patients. We very much appreciate having her to help keep our kids healthy.

My kids have been going to River Ridge since birth and they are 9 and 11 now. Dr. Gipson tells you straight and is all about the kids! 👍👍👍

Fast and kind. Been attending with son for 4 months now.Only issue, had to make a followup apt after initial 2 month apt for shots and needed to take time out of my schedule to come back again a week or so later because they ran out of a shot he needed the previous week.

First I want to say that I love the doctors. I pray they read this review. My issues are with the incompetence and the lack of consideration by the receptionist. She never relays my information properly and has cost me time,energy, and money from her not getting it right. She won’t let me talk to a nurse when I hit the option to talk to a nurse she always answers and never gives me accurate information. I live far out of town and have made several trips into town with her assurance that what we needed to do, or prescriptions were ready when they weren’t. This last time when she lied to me and called me a liar all in one breath was my last straw. After the first incident I was told she wouldn’t be there long. That’s been over a year ago so we will be looking for a new doctor for my 4 kiddos because I just can’t deal with her stupidity any longer.

Best pediatric office in Georgetown. Hands-down. I wouldn’t take any of my 5 kids anywhere else. Clean, organized, and handling COVID beautifully. I can always get in quickly when needed. Love both Dr Gipson and NP Rachel. Thanks to RR Peds for all you do!

FINAL UPDATE: The billing issue was FINALLY taken care of. It was cleared 2 or 3 months ago, and I havent received another bill. Im changing my review to 4 stars for 3 reasons.1. Rachel Matula is PHENOMENAL. Whatever they are paying her, its not enough. She is kind, she listens, she gives me all the time I need, she takes my gut feeling into consideration, she remembers my kids and details about their lives.... she is amazing. When my daughter was in the hospital in August, she called twice while to check on her. No one does that anymore. We absolutely adore her and quite frankly, she is the reason we stayed at the office through the billing nightmare.2. I had a small issue with the office this week and received a call from the office manager. She was very kind and apologized for the issue. She promised to work with the office to correct it. I really appreciated that.3. The billing issue was finally resolved and I havent received another erroneous bill since.First let me say, we absolutely LOVE our nurse practitioner and will continue to see her. The billing department, however, is horrendous. Im mostly writing this because after 6 months of paying bills, making calls and being told its been taken care of, Im still getting billed for one visit in February of 2020, and now its been sent to collections. Heres what happened. In December of 2019, I was sent 3 different bills, all $20 each for 3 of my children. I called to pay them and was told that two of my children had $20 credits on their accounts, so I really only needed to pay $20, which I did. Then, in March, I received a bill for $40 for one child. This bill covered two visits, the one in December I had been told had been credited and one in February, which was new. I called right away and spoke with a woman, Jordan. She didnt understand why I was getting billed for the December visit again and promised to look into it and call me back. She didnt, so I called again on 4/7/2020. This time, I spoke with Jessica. She told me that whoever said I had a credit for the December visit was incorrect, so I stilled owed $20 for that visit and $20 for the February visit. Fine. I paid both at that time. Then in June, I got billed again for the visit in February of 2020. I called again, speaking with Jordan, who assured me that I didnt need to pay anything and it was taken care of. I got yet another bill for same visit this week, but what really angers me is I also got a notice from a 3rd party collections agency telling me Im overdue on the $20 and that I must pay right away. Now, first of all, the entire reason this became an issue is that River Ridge failed to collect my $20 copay at my appointments for my sick children. Then, I called 4 times to get answers and paid twice (immediately) when told that I actually did have balances and not credits. I am beyond fed up. Im quite angry at this point. Now I will have to go into the office and go over this mess with them and hope that I can get some resolution and that it wont effect my credit score. This is completely unacceptable. If youre thinking about heading to RR pediatrics, the billing department alone should make you think twice. I hate to say that because I absolutely love our provider.UPDATE: I called again after receiving the notice from the 3rd party. I spoke again with Jordan and clearly voiced my frustration. I asked to be called by the office manager. She called me about 30 minutes later and assured me that the charge has been removed and the balance is zero. Im glad, but it should have been done MONTHS ago. I will wait and see if I receive another bill, but Im cautiously optimistic that its been taken care of.

I love that Georgetown has good local Drs. I feel good about bringing my baby here.
