Office is refusing to sign my mothers death certificate. Office has called and been extremely rude and with a complete lack of sympathy making her closure so much more difficult.

Dr. Otto is an amazing Doctor!! He is so genuine, truly cares about the well being of his patients and takes the time to listen to you. He has never just thrown a random solution at me for any of my issues; if he was not able to answer any of my questions, he was honest about that and has always told me he will get the correct answer/care plan to solve any issue Ive ever had. Im super grateful to have such a wonderful doctor in my life that honestly and genuinely cares about not only my health; but all his patients and staffs health. He is a stand up Doctor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone I know, in search for a Doctor!! I would also like to add that the staff is all very welcoming, they abide by a very strict protocol to keep everyone save during Covid and are all very friendly.

Ive watched my wife suffer in pain and silence for a very long time. Despite her many office visits to so many local doctors whom all did nothing for her, some actually made her worse!! Until she started seeing Dr.Otto. Dr.Otto has given her life back to her. He has never not listened to what is going on with her health, Ive even been in the room during their appointments and he is very attentive and definitely cares about his patients and their health! Im very grateful for Dr. Richard Otto and his amazing staff.

I have been seeing Dr. Otto and/or other providers at Family Medical Center for over 10 years. The care for my health has been outstanding. Dr. Otto truly cares about my health and well being. He will spend extra time with me to ensure I am healthy and well taken care of. He includes my “quality of life” factor into my medication needs. He is very happy with my health care successes. On the down side, sometimes the wait to see the doctor can be long. Dr. Otto is a good man and I always enjoy my appointments with him. It is also very convenient to be able to see other providers when Dr. Otto is not available.

Dr. Otto is an amazing doctor. We have been with him for years and we get the the best care and attention each and every visit. His care is match by no other in my book. If you need a great Doctor that treats head to toe, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Otto has been my doctor for well over a decade. Even though we moved an hour away recently, my family have remained his patients due to the high level of care he provides. He goes above and beyond to ensure that he can be reached when I have concerns. Dr Otto and his staff are the most caring, intelligent doctors and receptionists I’ve ever come across. They love their patients and they truly care about your health. Sometimes there’s a tiny bit of a wait but it’s worth it. You will never find a more caring and warm doctor than Dr Otto and I recommend him whole heartedly.

I went to Dr. Otto as a new patient and my experience could not have been any better. The office staff were all very courteous, but also efficient and helpful. Dr. Otto was very thorough for basically a get to know you appointment, he spent additional time giving me a lot of useful information about the community, and some other specialist Dr.s that I might need.When my records were received from my previous family Dr, the office staff actually spent the time and reviewed my medical history and then called me with a recommendation for a specialist and followed through by forwarding everything needed to see the specialist.I feel that the staff and Dr Otto went way beyond just what was necessary.I highly recommend Dr Otto and the Family Medical Center of Georgetown

My cousin Kent has been a patient for over 8 years, taking care of him following his heart attack. The staff is outstanding and the care from Dr. Otto is impeccable. Id highly recommend Dr. Otto without hesitation to friends, family members and those looking for a world class doctor.

Our family of four have been going to Family Medical Center for years. Weve been there are least 30 times and have never had a negative experience. We have seen Dr. Otto, Dr. Snook, Tony and Marc and we always get great care. We often get same day appointments which make it very convenient. We have never felt rushed either. Love this place!

These doctors are obviously money hungry. I needed their help on a refill for a medication I’ve been prescribed to for years. They refused to see me because A member of my family I have nothing to do with owes them money. I however do not owe them a penny and was willing to pay out of pocket on the spot. I will now have to go without my medications unless I can find other means to get them. I am EXTREMELY offended by all of this and will tell everyone I know (including my business partners and employees at a local company I own) my experience today. Thanks Family Medical Center and Dr. Otto in particular!

Dr. Otto is the most comprehensive doctor I have seen. Being an army brat I was all over the world and have been to many different doctors. I have been a patient at the family medical center for over a decade and will not seek another place to care for me.

Dr. Otto is a good doctor. Other medical professionals Ive seen are mediocre, and not very good diagnosticians. Medical assistant or nurse who gives call backs was rushed and did not provide thorough feedback.

Office staff 50/50 friendly.Prices slightly steep.I have been a cash pay client for 10yrs. I recently retired.Doctor Otto serves this location and clientel with compassion & excellent care. I refuse to see other pompous practitioners.Dr. Otto has a pleasant + informative bedside manner. Excellent **However,Theyve recently had a administration change over last (2yrs).They went from Best human care in Gtown to --- just like the rest. Show me the money + proper (top 3) insurances,Please.I have heard,Lone Star Clinic has a Dr Gembalthat gives exceptional patient care (listens) to client concerns & explains possible outcomes with a jovial excellent bedside manner.

As friendly as these folks are,Trying to get someone on the phone at this facility is near impossible. And when you do, they have some pathetic excuse.Someone that is in Excruciating pain, and is trying to get a specialists name from my doctors office because they have already informed me I need to see one, but they cant even answer the phone for over an hour . That is a none caring office personnel that couldnt care less. The doctor never sees them working, so they can not answer the phone and get away with it. Why ? Because no one sees it happening. This post still come down once I see that they care about their patients.

Dr. Otto is an amazing doctor that actually cares about people and their problems. He always take the time to let his patients talk and he really listens....Very....very....smart and up to date on latest meds and treatments....You can trust Dr. Otto....They get no better.

Ok let me first start off telling you that the first time I came here they messed up my prescription and sent it to another pharmacy. Secondly, when I went in I felt somewhat welcome but one lady specifically with blonde hair, an older lady both times seemed very standoffish towards me.. I did not feel welcome at that point. When you speak about the visit.. terrible! The doctor, an older guy, told me that he could not see me for throwing up or anxiety. He told me that I told the receptionists that I only called for “sinuses” so he could not help me with anything else, that I would need to make another visit.. to more than likely get more money. When I had the visit with him he told me I did not have sinuses because I did not have drainage and told me to get an over the counter medication mucinex D. I asked him to do my blood work and he almost didn’t want to. He was like why do you need to.. then I asked for the fluorescent lighting to be turned off as it was hurting my eyes since my sinuses were so bad and the whole staff didn’t even know if their own lights were fluorescent or not as well as they thought it was not the cause of allergies. The only person that was nice was the nurse that helped me get through taking my blood.. props to her but I’ll never go back to this “practice.” All I need is my lab work which I hope is credible.. these people do not make a person feel wanted.

Dr Otto, Tony Gauntt, Marc Wauson, and Dr Snook are all wonderful providers! Very tentative, caring, kind, and compassionate people! I wont ever be changing from this office. Not to mention the nursing and front desk staff is on point!

This location has changed several doctors, and Ive never met the doctor, but he has a staff member who is very rude, refused to allow me to finish a sentence, and wanted to talk to me like I was a child, and uneducated. For everything that is out there about people dealing with anxiety, trying to get help for it, sure isnt easy at this facility. Canceled my future appointment and will look for another doctor.
