DrFRANK IS VERY SKILLED AT HIS PROFESSION. HE IS VERY KIND ANDCORDIAL. HIS EVALUATIONS ARE THOROUGH AND HE ARTICULATESWELL WITH HIS PATIENTS. HIS STAFF IS VERY SKILLED AS WELL AND VERY PLEASANT . HE GETS 10 OUT OF 10IN MY OPINION . I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE.

I dont usually like to leave reviews. However, I only do it when the service is either great or horrible. In this the service here was the letter. The staff were rude. The doctor had a pleasant personality but did not spend enough time asking questions. I think she was in a rush as other patients were waiting for her. I will never go here again. I genuinely dont understand why this place has so many good reviews!

The office personnel are was really friendly and quick to get me checked in. Hardly any time waiting on the doctor. Had a very informative discussion with the doctor. At no time felt like she was trying to cut my time short.

Dr. Jangouk is awesome. I was going to another Gastro Dr. in Austin for 3 years and was still having the same issues. Once I saw Dr. Jangouk and explained my stomach issues, she diagnosed me and issued me the right medication and I have been feeling great for the last couple of months. I highly recommend her to anyone that is having gastro issues.

I spent a week in the hospital with Austin Gastro at St. David’s. They are the most unprofessional, and pretentious healthcare providers that I have ever come across. Dr. Cooper and Dr. Jangouk specifically didnt listen to me as a patient and treated me as if I don’t know anything. I ended up back in the hospital because Dr. Jangouk thought my diagnosis would be fixed with benefiber. I ended up in a failure to thrive stage because my body was not digesting nutrients. They put my life in danger and didn’t blink an eye. The staff is super slow when it comes to sending out records and 9/10 times and they had no idea what was going on. I will NEVER go back or recommend to ANYONE. This is just a short list. If you value your life, do not go to Austin gastro.

Not only is Dr. Jangouk one of the worst Dr’ss I’ve ever been to, her staff are also rude and care more about gossip and talking about other patients while your in the waiting room. This Dr. does not care at all about you, she came in with a I’m annoyed you are even here attitude. She barely touched me, didn’t look at any of my photos from prior surgeries that I brought. I swear she enjoyed the fact that she wasn’t going to help me, while I’m crying on her chair because I’m in so much pain. I will never be back, please do yourself a favor and find a doctor with compassion and empathy. This one is NOT it. She needs major training in those areas as does her staff.

I don’t ever take the time to write up a review, but I felt like this was highly necessary. I went in to see Parastoo, Jangouk, MD and i was very happy to because of all the reviews I read on here. However, my appointment was highly disappointing. Not just because I was diagnosed with IBS at my appointment but also because the doctor was very unhelpful. After diagnosing me, i continued to tell her about my symptoms and she would very sarcastically smile saying it all had to do with my poor habits which she was sure i had. When i asked her for information on IBS she responded by telling me to go search it on WEB MD. In my mind, i thought well maybe i should’ve just googled my symptoms and diagnosed myself. It seems like i would’ve gotten more information online that clearly at my visit. Will not be going back to her. Oh and to top it off, i was charged 214 dollars to chat with a doctor that instructed me to go on WEB MD for information on what she had just diagnosed me with. I’d you read this Dr. Jangouk, you should be ashamed of yourself and you’re unprofessionalism.Rebeca Guevara.

Well honestly I didn’t really feel assured that they even knew what was wrong. They didn’t run any tests or anything just told me I needed anti biopics and instead of me picking them up they said they would sent them to me. That was 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting....

I was impressed with the front office staff which was courteous, professional, and efficient - my wait was minimal. Jessica, the PA, was pleasant and thorough with her assessment explaining the next steps clearly. My check-out which included the scheduling of a procedure was equal to my check-in. Even though I have not had my procedure to date, I venture that it will go well based on my experience so far.

This was my first time having a colonoscopy, so there was some trepidation, but from the scheduling process, the consultation to the day of the procedure I received the best individualized care. From the wonderful receptionist, to the nurses, the P.A.s, Dr. Carl Frank has one of the best offices. So professional and friendly. Lets face it, when you go see them, chances are you are not in your happy place. They make it so much easier. If you have to have a colonoscopy I have been to the center as a patient and as a driver and that place is a well oiled machine, no pun intended. Everyone knows their job so you get thru the awkwardness and no embarrassment. Great people who really do care how you feel. Dr Carl Frank is honest, he listens, you may see a PA first to gather information or give information. If for some reason he can not be there and you need to see someone, his PAs are extremely qualified to care for you in his place. Again, great people doing a great job.

I had a colonoscopy at the shoal creek endoscopy location a day ago. Besides the prep and the fact that After the past two colonoscopies polyps were found, i will reiterate how essential it is to thoroughly read the directions prior to undergoing the procedure bc it will make the process much easier. That being said i followed the low fiber diet for three days prior not including the day before which was clear liquids only - then began the prep. Ultimately it all worked and though i had a massive caffeine headache all went according to plan. I was checked in, called back, etc. the front office personnel were on point regarding the forms i had to sign and made it clear both parties responsibilities. The nurse that led me back , Laurie was a floater but immediately made me feel at ease and not at all a burden. All of the other nurses and technicians and the anesthiologist were clear and compassionate as medically able and dr Frank efficient and thorough in addition to being genuinely concerned. Overall i am so pleased with not only the positive outcome but the entire process. Made it all worth it.

The completely misdiagnosed my wife after multiple scans and procedures. Thats not what really sucks, what really sucks is they wont even send my wifes records to the new doctors and have completely boched up any client relationships possible.
