If you are looking to do any permanent makeup I would highly recommend going to Robyn. She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect. I had a great experience with Robyn! I was nervous at first since this was my first cosmetic tattoo experience (as well as first tattoo experience in general), but everything turned out beautifully. I had very uneven lips with a massive lack of pigment, but after a couple hours of shaping my lips and picking out a color - they look so natural but 100 times better than before. I highly recommend!!

Robyn is an amazing professional who provides outstanding, quality work! About a year ago I had microblading performed by another company who gave me over sized dark, ashy eyebrows that didn’t even fit my facial features. I found Robyn’s business & messaged her for help that same day. She responded within the hour & offered to see me the very next morning for an emergency eyebrow removal session. From there I had four more sessions with her that removed my previously botched eyebrows so that I could have them done properly. Robyn took the time to make sure that I loved my brows, the color, the arch, the shape, everything. My brows are now the right color, shape & fit my face! I am beyond grateful for everything she’s done for me!

I had my first eyebrow session with Robyn on 11/03 and was happy with how my eyebrows looked after one session. At my second session, on 1/15, I decided that I wanted my eyebrows to be more pigmented and bold, as my natural brows are very light (with being a natural blonde) and severely over-plucked for years and refused to grow back. It has almost been a full month since my 2nd session and I am completely in love with my eyebrows. I never realized how much having eyebrows all the time (not just while I am wearing makeup) could change my overall confidence and my personal view of the way I look. I finally feel comfortable not wearing any makeup, which is an unprecedented feeling for me. I couldnt be happier with my results! Robyn was also very helpful with choosing shades that would work well with my lighter-colored brows and creating the perfect eyebrow shape to fit my face. Ok, I am a person who is VERY SKEPTICAL about having anything done to my face. I’m afraid I won’t absolutely love it and then you can’t go back. As I’ve gotten older my brows all but disappeared, for the last five years or more I’ve spent enormous amount of money buying the best and the cheapest pencils that are supposed to be miraculous. It just got me by. About two years ago I started researching Microblading but was so scared because I heard all the horror stories and seeing some of the horror stories on social media. Finally I got tired of having to spend an extra half hour on three different pencils to get my brows to look halfway decent As I looked sickly without them. Finally decided to bite the bullet it was time yes everyone thinks it’s a little pricey but when I think back of all the money I spent on the pencils I could probably pay for it twice. After I was done with my research I found Robyn at Ink and Arch in Geneva Illinois. After seeing all her work on Instagram reading all the reviews on Google and realizing she was booked usually three months in advance this girl has to be good. Let me tell you I was scared to death I mean we’re talking permanent here, right? Robyn put me at ease she answered all my questions at the office, and also generously after hours and text. It’s a two-step process, did the first one in June and the second one in August as you need to wait 8-10 weeks for total healing. Robyn did an amazing job, she does great work and let me tell you I’m not easy to please. If anyone is thinking of taking this step don’t be afraid to go see Robyn and you won’t be sorry.PS. I absolutely love my eyebrows! Robyn is undoubtedly a skilled and talented professional artist. First of all, I dont have any tattoos; so, technically speaking, my eyebrows were my first tattoos. Second, Im Asian--which means I grow hair like a Sphynx cat (it has its pros and cons). Poor Robyn barely had anything to work with. For my initial microblading session, she took the time to listen to my needs and ensure that I approve of the shape and color before moving on. I wanted a natural look, as opposed to a makeup look; therefore, she created hair strokes using a manual hand tool instead of a machine. Most importantly, Robyn allowed ample time for the topical anesthetic to take effect and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure--there was a scraping noise, but I felt zero pain or discomfort. I even fell asleep! Furthermore, the healing process went smoothly and exactly as she described. Follow the post-care instructions on the Ink and Arch website, and youll be perfectly fine. Lastly, my follow-up went well--my eyebrows were pretty much the same, just a little darker but still natural-looking. Today, I visited Robyn for a color boost after about a year and a half. This time I had work done with the machine for a fuller look. Im excited for the end result! The first photo, taken in 2015, was the best before photo I could find. I used to sport bangs to conceal the lack of brows. The second photo was taken on June 9th., 2020, which was about a year and two months after the initial session.

I wanted to give Robyn a review. I received a powder brow and the included touchup in the last few months. She’s VERY talented and hygienic. You can tell she cares about her clients’ preferences, and the studio/room itself is very clean and professional as is Robyn herself. I’m a licensed esthetician as well and I know aesthetic talent and hospitality. My brows turned out looking great and I’m so excited I don’t need makeup on my naturally very sparse, blond brows. The shape, color and structure is great. Will be coming back forever for my touchups.

I’ve had problems with my eyebrows for years, and had to fill them in ALL the time. I was a little nervous about microblading at first, but Robyn made my experience very comfortable, informative, and worth while. She did an amazing job picking the shape that complimented my face, and I can’t believe I don’t have to fill my eyebrows in anymore! Before microblading, my brows were just too light and seemed like they faded into my face,. The shape I had was too low above my eyes.
