I took my daughter (11) here because our dentist was on vacation and she had broke her tooth. The staff was amazing with her. They did a great job fixing her tooth and we will define back.

I have been going to Acrewood Dental in Gatesville for several years now. I love seeing my hygienist Kimberly! She is so sweet and caring! She always remembers my kiddos and asks about them. Today I mixed up my appointment, but she was able to squeeze me in since I have such a hectic schedule! Thank you Acrewood for always being so kind considerate! You make going to the dentist easy!

The staff was very professional yet courteous. The dental assistant Ms. Bond was truly caring and took care of me from the time I entered the door until the time I departed. The Doctor was empathetic and took care of of my dental issue without any pain. I was quite shocked that I didn’t feel a thing. In fact, I almost fell asleep during the procedure. That speaks volumes to the exceptional level of care I received. I would recommend this dental office to all of my family and friends, including small children.

Having just moved to Texas, I had no idea if where to turn for dental care but I needed to find one quickly as I was already way behind on my cleanings due to the pandemic. The first clinic I called couldnt get me in for 7 months! Then I called Acre Wood Dental here in Gatesville and to my surprise they could get me in within 5 days. I was thrilled but leery but after meeting the staff, and the Doc, I was very pleased. Everyone made feel welcome, comfortable and greatly taken care off. Thank you everyone.

First Dr. Rob Edwards was superior in every way!! Very gentle and compassionate about his practice. They took me right away because it was an emergency!! To me, that is worth a million bucks!! I havent been to a dentist in a very long time due to a few bad experiences when I was a kid. I had to make an appointment finally and I was extremely nervous. That all changed when I was treated so kindly and welcomed as if I was family or a close friend. There was no wait and I was offered help filling out the paperwork a few times. Then, I met Dr. Edwards. He was the complete opposite of what I was expecting given my past experiences. He was super nice, very gentle, and in no hurry. Though my next appointment will be very uncomfortable, Im pretty confident Im in the best hands. This place was remarkably clean and everyone is super friendly and empathetic. I feel safe here.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Dr Edwards took care of my chipped tooth. As his assistant took my x-rays, it was pleasant to listen to Dr Edwards chatting with a little girl about her Easter activities while he fixed her mothers teeth in another room. It felt more like being in a friends home than in a dental office.I also appreciated Dr Edwards after hours phone call to see how I was feeling.

Acre Wood Dental staff are very nice and personable! They are thorough and did an excellent job. They treated me with respect and were gentle with me even when I was being difficult.My wife told me they were the nicest people, but I didn’t believe her and told her I needed to judge for myself! I have to say that she was correct and I agree with her!

I was so impressed with the visit. Everyone there was special. I was in bad shape with a tooth cracked to the root. Had to remove it but will be back to get my teeth back to normal. At 66 I got plenty of repairs to do in the near future...Feeling pretty good about now. Will be back next week for cleaning and a plan to get my teeth in good shape. Highly Recommend !

This is the absolute best dentist I’ve ever gone to. The staff are friendly and caring, Dr. Edwards was engaging and helpful. They fit me in on very short notice due to my being in pain and worried about infection, and when they discovered I’d come from almost an hour away (it’s the closest that takes my insurance and could get me in) Dr. Edwards made the time to perform the necessary procedure to ease my pain. He went over everything he was doing in detail, but in simple terms, and was very conservative about not performing anything unnecessary. I went in thinking that I’d probably require 3 root canals and left knowing that while I might need one, he would avoid that if possible. The girls were all professional and extremely helpful, from the hygienists to the receptionist. Actually looking forward to going back!

I have hated and feared dental care since my late teens when I had a terrible experience with a military dentist. I have overcome that fear with Acre Wood Dental. They have done everything I had to have done and made and kept me as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. I no longer fear routine care as I did before.

Getting my teeth cleaned is not the trip to hell that it was for years, Kim is a jewel and cares for her patients. Dr. Rob is always upbeat and has even called our home to check on my husband after an extraction. They CARE!

Ill be the first to admit I am not a good dental patient. They were very kind and caring and accommodating of my hesitancy. Over the top in covid protocols which worried me too before coming in. Had it not been a semi-emergency I would not have gone in. Im glad I did. They laid out the options and gave me time to think it through. Gave recommendations but werent pushy. Very happy with the experience.

Undoubtedly the best dental experience I have had in my 81 years. The friendliest staffAnd most professional Dentist in the world. Dr Edwards went above and beyond any standards to make sure my dental problem was solved.When he discovered that my procedure was going to require an oral surgeon, he and his staff at closing time, made arrangements with an oral surgeon in Temple to remain open and see me.Not only did his staff but Dr Edwards as well demonstrated what true professionalism is all about.Dr Edwards wasnt satisfied with me driving to and from Temple by myself. He insisted on driving me there in his car and back. While there he remained with me throughout the entire procedure.We noticed the late hour and the pharmacy would be closed before we returned to Gatesville. He took it upon himself to coordinate the picking up and delivering the medicine, to my home.I dont know the name of the staff member doing this deed for me. After being there, I am sure any one of the staff would have done so.Dr Edwards and his staff are truly an asset to the Gatesville community and the dental community.I rated this experience with five stars only because themaximum number of stars on the survey was five. If any one ever deserved a 10 star rating, they surely do.I highly recommend this dental practice to any one.

Dr. Rob listens to you and then acts accordingly. I have super-sensitive teeth. So this is very important to me. The entire staff is thoughtful and kind. You are not just a paycheck to them. You are a fellow human being and are treated kindly and as a partner in your care. I am truly grateful to have found this dentist office.

I am a long time patient with Acre Wood I left after a bad experience with the old dentist. I tried several other dentist in Gatesville that were not to my liking and decided since the dentist had been retired and new ones had taken over. Still the great warm and inviting staff. They are all so sweet and helpful. We have had the privilege of having Dr Ryan Olzack and he was very friendly and upfront in our assessment and what our cost would be. They are there to take care of you here not just get your money!! They are such a wonderful bunch! I will always recommend them

I have had two different extractions done in the past two years, with that being said I was very satisfied with the service provided there was on particular dental assistant that made my experience a lot more tolerable. I appreciated her so much that I even went home after the second extraction and brought her back brownies! 180 paid for the assessment nothing done pain still the same and then asked for 16500 to fix my teeth over months of time the added anxiety not worth the time and money I wanted to be able to eat and smile but for 17k and 6 to 9 months it is not going to happen the people were nice enough but completely about that dollar I am very much in pain and more importantly must realize that I am going to have to live with it
