Went there to put my Moms lunch order in for next week.Very, very friendly nice lady. Showed me more or less of what the lunch would look like, and answered all of my questions. Great!!!

Very nice folks. Signed up the daily lunch program for my Mom. See how it goes. Mom may or may not like it. Well see. Have to order 1 week in advance.

We moved to Gardena 20 years ago from what seems, now, like another planet. Thousands of miles from home and family, the JCI became community for our kids. They played Sansei softball and baseball, dressed up for summet matsuri, volunteered at the carnival each year, and still play judo with Gardena Judo Club.We can say that the stones of every event, sport, and interaction at the JCI has helped build a small town childhood for both of them. On this little island of the JCI, Ojiichan, obachan, nisan, and onesan surround them in the midst of their epic Los Angeles life.We are soooo grateful, and forever in debt to Gardena JCI. Mahalo. ありがとうございました.

Local Japanese Bazaar! Great Local Food , Always Enjoyable

I went to Japanese school there and I love it.

Came here to support a friend participating in a Japanese drum event - the performance they put on was awesome, everyone was very friendly & the pot luck food was fantastic.

A hidden gem of the city..lots of cool senior programs for the Japanese American and local community.

Attend a celebration of life, it was a blessed event!!!

Its a supportive and welcoming community space in Gardena. Wonderful staff and always so much to do and be involved with here!

Excellent community center where you can find a great library, free wifi, things like taiko classes and fun programs!

Great place, they host loads of events for the Japanese American community in the area.

I love the library and the offered classes too bad I had to move away. I want to move back to Gardena.

About 30 years ago, I was able to sweat good here. Im really thankful to you. It is a Judo hall of a Japanese community. We can practice from children to adults and women, and teachers and parents are very kind. If you have any special skills, you are very welcome.
