The service office is an amazing resource for the whole community and often it is thankless work. They are there when someone is in need and can direct them to the right resources. Irene is wonderful and a real gift to the program. Thank you to all the nameless volunteers that put in countless hours to keep our program and resources available to the fellowship at large.

I am so grateful to Irene, Jojo and Jacquie for keeping the office open for 12step counseling and purchase of our literature. We are fortunate to have such compassionate women serving our Orange County region. What a blessing they have been to my WSO approved meetings, especially mailing out Welcome packages to desperate Newcomers seeking help and hope.. Thank you, ladies.

When I refer anyone troubled by another persons drinking to the office, I am confident that they will receive helpful information from kind and compassionate staff members and volunteers who listen with empathy and understanding. Theirs is a sometimes challenging role because some callers---by the time they reach out for help---can be overcome with emotions---fear, anger, confusion. I especially appreciate the office managers adding technology resources that free up more staff and volunteer time for the critical purpose for which the office was created more than 40 years ago---serving as a local resource for families and individuals affected by the family disease of alcoholism.

I cannot say how much I appreciate the support and follow through I received in getting the information I asked for from your office. This family disease of alcoholism is clearly complicated. I can find help in these trying times, and it gave me great comfort to know I can reach out and find a helping hand with getting literature or finding out how to find local meetings. Thank you! I’m so grateful for this local resource.

I have been to the office many times to get literature or reason something out and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. The office manager Irene, has generously taken time to listen to me and has made suggestions that have really helped my recovery. I am so thankful for the support that I get from Al-Anon through the orange county office.

They are closed on Monday even though the website shows they are open. Went to another source to spend my $400.00 budget.

The staff here is courteous and always willing to guide you to meetings that help you to deal with the effects of alcoholism. Highly recommend Al-Anon if you have someone in your life whose drinking or sobriety is bothering you.

-I called the office recently to purchase literature . The office manager Irene asked me where I attend meetings. I told her where some of my meetings are and she proceeded to say that she would not sell me literature if I attend those meetings. She shared gossip with me and told me it dates back from many years ago. She states its all true and her sponsor, the ex-officio from the Intergroup has told her these things.-Ive been attending Al-Anon for 6 months I have a God. I did not react but realized how angry Irene is. I told her that this has not been my experience and I truly like all the meetings I attend.-I find it very disturbing that an office manager acts like that. In my company, she would have been fired, and especially since I heard a board member said the same thing about Irene. I bought literature in Santa Fe Springs where the ladies are so loving and friendly.
